A Dragonic Guardian(xWickedBlackLace)

As odd as Andol found it, and still even Tessa sometimes, it was pretty normal for siblings to fight in Dragonic culture. Competition was never really that friendly and it was always a constant battle for power, but it wasn't abnormal. Their father, Caidren, had fought for years and had killed many of his siblings in his rise to power. Finally, he had to kill his parents to seal the deal. With no remorse, he did so carefully and quickly.

A small smile lifted the corner of Adrian's lips. He coughed, doubling over slightly in pain. He was sure that Xadrien had also injured one of his ribs. Ah well, nothing you could really do about a broken rib...just let it heal. He had plenty in his lifetime, so dealing with this one wouldn't be difficult to do.

"I'm fine." he muttered, still weak and learning to breathe. Sure it hurt to talk, cough, and make any sort of normal movement but it would subside. "I'm rising, but as for shining? Well, I think my ribs probably have a lovely colourful bruise you could classify as a shiner."

Though his eyes were weak and weary, his features were still very handsome. A hand draped idly over his ribcage and he let out a very slow breath, inhaling even slower. It took alot of effort really. Looking up at Andol he made one last attempt to smile. The blood wasn't coming from a mouth wound. It was internal bleeding coming from his mouth, caused by the restriction of his airways.

"Don't be too hard on him, now." he said, half joking. "He really only wanted to protect you. And sometimes I don't think about how harsh my words sound." Again, he let out a painful breath. It was jagged, as his voice was too. "Just remember. When you get upset, he gets upset for you. And it's always about 10x more upset than he has to be. It's kind of like projecting your feelings through your dragon. Its amplified immensely. "

He frowned as he wacthed Adrain double over in pain.... Andol did not like to see anyone hurt. Yet in a way this felt like it was indeed his fault, but he knew that was not true, becuase there was no way for him to have known what Xaid would do... yet now that he did know, there would be no excuse next time it happened. He rubbed his hand softly over Adrain's back until he was sure that the other was indeed ok, and then stopped, "Yeah well at least you are still rising and shining... could have been worse you know. Plus wounds are always good reminders not to stick our hands back on the stove again." He was not being mean towards Adrain, he was just stating the old fact that you usally learned once you got burnt.

Every time he saw blood coming form Adrain's lips he reached up and wiped it away.... though he wanted to go outside and check on Xaid, he still knew that he needed to make sure that Adrain was ok first. Sinice it was his fault that the smaller dragon had gotten hurt, he had to make sure that Adrain was going to be alright before he went out and talked to Xaid. Yet he planned on giving his gaurdian a good talking to, but Andol knew that he could not stay mad with Xaid for any amount of time. He cared way to much for the big guy for that to ever happen.

Andol looked at the smaller dragon reached out to stroke over the dragons cheek..."Yeah I know that he was, but still he has no reason to be attacking you like that, becuase it was not like you where going to hurt me Adrain. Yet I will go esay on him if you want me too..." He pulled his hand back and sat there for a moment as he began to think and then asked, "Will it always be like this, or can I teach him to keep his calm... I am normally a very calm person, yet somtimes I get angry, and I don't want people to get hurt or killed every time I do." It was obvious that Andol felt guilty about what had happened.

Adrian shifted his weight, rolling slightly in hopes to become more comfortable. But it was an impossible task. Becoming comfortable was just not possible for the time being. Every movement he made had a consequentual spike of pain. With a small hiss he managed to sit up, that rib reminding him that it was still very broken. Still, the weak smile toyed with his lips. It was as though his gaze was struggling to stay with the moment. He leaned against Andol for support, the Dragonic warmth of his body exchanging that of the humans as he breathed jaggedly.

He leaned into the stoke of his cheek and drew a slow, gentle breath. It felt nice as he absorbed the feel of the other male's touch. It'd been a while since he had been treated with any sort of affection. Through everything, he made certain to be entirely careful with every movement he made.

"Xadrien has quite a temper...but it's really dulled down over the years believe it or not." He chuckled lightly. The feel of Andol's touch was enough to calm his nerves as he took it in. As a dragon, he definitely loved to be coddled and stroked. With a small smile he looked up at Andol. "I think it's something we're all going to have to live with. He's fiery. And very hard to control."

Andol let the other male lean against him, and made sure to keep himself upright so that Adrain would have all the support that he needed. Just leaning against Andol the dragon would find that the human was indeed quite a bit stronger than he looked, so he was defiently somthing that was good to lean against. He smiled softly at Adrain though a soft frown crossed his face as he said to the dragon gently, "Hey now be careful Adrain.... please try not to move around so much or you are just going to end up hurting yourself more." When he noticed that it seemed to make the other feel better to be petted... Andol remembered what he had done before and just soft rubbed the dragons back, and every now and then he would reach up and run his fingers along the top of the dragons eyebrows, knowing this was the same thing as scarthing the dragon forms, eyeridges.

Andol could not really believe what the other had said.... if this was Xaid having been calmed down by the years then he hated the idea of what the dragon might have been like back in the day before he had meet him. He tried not to think about this and was simply glad that he knew Xaid during the time now when the larger male as calm and at peace, "Well I guess so... we will just have to make sure that next time we are a bit more careful with our disagreements ok.."

Andol had only met the family 24 hours ago, if that. Already the human seemed to understand the anatomy of the Dragon so perfectly. As Adrian mused on this, he let the idle smile remain. The muscles of his face were really the only ones he could use without hurting himself further for the time being. The human warned the dragon, simutaneously stroking the right nerves. If he could do so without feeling pain rip through his ribs, he would have let himself growl with absolute delight. Instead, he laughed involuntarily, holding his sides as if it would quell the sharp pain.

As he closed his eyes and savored Andols touch, he spoke. "If we're going to be close friends, we're probably going to have to pull each other aside if we want to argue. Xadrien is a bit biased...I mean, you could use him against me if you wanted to. He could rip me in half. He is fucking strong. You're a lucky one." he offered a smile and laughed lightly. Not too hard cause it hurt to do so. "You are so fucking safe it's serious."

"I'm taking it as easy as I can." he admitted, sadly. He flickered his inhuman black gaze back open and looked up at Andol and met with his eyes. "If you wanted to go see how your fussy dragon is handling his anger, I won't mind. You don't have to sit here and coddle me."

Andol smiled softly as he realized that he was having the desired affect on Adrain... it was what he had hoped would happen, sinice he needed the dragon to relax and feel better. Andol really did not like to see others in pain if he could help it.... well... he did not like to see those that he cared about in pain was probably a better discription of what he was thinking. Anyone that dared tried to hurt those that he cared for.... had to wacth there backs, becuase the human could be quite cold and ruthless if he needed to be.

He contiuned what he was doing softly, and he seemed to whince in empathy at the dragon's pain. Yet he knew that Adrain would eventually be alright... the sliver lining in this entire siutation was that no permanet damage had been done. Andol knew that he would indeed have to give Xaid a good talking too, but at the same time he really wondered if he could stay mad a larger male for any length of time. He nodded his head in agreement to Adrain statment, "Yeah I would have to agree with there, yeah knowing Xaid he would probably follow... or figure out anyway." He let a sigh that also contained a chuckle.

"Trust me when I say that I have indeed figured that out already... I would be dead right now if where not for him stumbling across me." He indeed felt quite lucky.. plus considered how few of these dragon seemed to have masters.... he guessed that Xaid was quite the lucky one too. He gazed into Adrain's dark eyes and asked, "Well it is kinda my fault you are like this Adrain... so I don't mind doing so really." Andol felt partly responsaible, so he felt that he need to stay and take care of Adrain if the dragon needed him too.

"Like I said, there really isn't anything you can do at this point-" Adrian smiled up warmly at Andol. The words and te feel of his touch was enough to quell the pain while his body healed itself. As he parted his own handsome lips to speak again, another deeper voice came from the doorway taking the place of his words.

"You shouldn't be sorry Andol. It's not your fault. Adrian needs to learn how to keep his god damned mouth shut." Xadrien said, re-entering the room. He didn't look at the two, but he was scowling a bit as he went to the fridge to retrieve a cold water bottle. Any sort of touch Andol was offering Adrian would make him extremely jealous.

Cadence stood behind his older brother, shaking his head as he entered the room behind him. With his arms crossed, and his calm demure, it was evident that he was the one to calm Xadrien down. While it was 100% effective, Xaid was calm enough for the time being and he'd seen a worse reaction extracted by other situations...

A small sigh escaped Adrian's lips as he shifted his position again. It was all he could do, because if he put too much weight on one area for too long, it began to hurt worse. Xadrien seemed to know what he did, but didn't feel any sympathy. He was a dragon protecting his master. Those sorts of emotions were extremely normal. "...Yeah Andol." he mused. "I should know better."

Andol did not know what more to say at that point really... he just shook his head and said nothing.... while contiuning his action to keep the dragon calm. So he just sat there and waited for ethier Xaid to enter the the room, or for Adrain to soo him away too go look after his dragon... despite what he had been told and what he knew that Xaid had been trying to do for him, sinice he was the dragons master. He was still want to going to let the big guy get away with it without a good talking to... Andol just would not feel better about the whole thing until he had done that much.

Sure egough though Xaid entered the room and what his dragon said only made Andol even more ticked off.... and he spoke right in the middle of Xaid's senteance and his voice contianed his obvious anger, "Xaid now that was completely uncalled for. This is damn well your fault and you know it... that much is true no matter what way you try to twist it or what excuse you try to make up."

The young man stood up slowly, and made sure that Adrain was nice and balanced before he walked over to Xaid and stood there right in fornt of the dragon and looked into his eyes and rested his one hand on his own hip while the other held it's pointer finger right in Xaid face, and for the first time the young man's voice truly did seem angry, "Now if you ever... ever do that again... I swear to god that I will turn you into a blubbering mass on the floor... do you understand me. Now apoligize to Adrain and tell him you are sorry." The last part was a obvious order.

Andol at this moment felt so torn up inside, becuase he did not like to order Xaid around... he did not like it one bit... and he certianly did not like to threaten the dragon. He was extremely conflicted on the inside, and just wanted this whole situtation to be over with. Yet he knew that he had to give Xaid this talking too and make the large dragon apoligize, yet it was still a 'this hurts me more than it hurts you' siutation for Andol.

Adrian stood up, wearily. It was a bit hard to do considering his condition be he had to do it fairly quickly. He put his hand up, knowing this situation could turn out pretty bad if he didn't say something. He knew Andol meant well, but he didn't want the relationship to suffer between his brother and his new master. It would be tragic because the relationship was so new, so pure. It was supposed to be a good time for both parties. "Andol.." he whispered, unable to speak any louder than that.

The sound of Xadrien's voice, however, boomed over the smaller dragon's. He didn't speak to Adrian, he spoke to Andol. "I am sorry Adrian." he said with a very large, unhappy Dragonic growl. There was a dilemma in his mind. To say he was truly sorry was a lie in itself, and if a dragon lied it would have the same effect as if they were to disobey an order. It left him to choose between the two pains so he chose to make Andol a bit more happy. He loved him, and held him above all feelings and emotions he could posess for himself.

But he had to add. "But I don't mean that. Because I saw you being verbally threatened." That would soften the blow of the lie. It did, but he sighed, trying to calm down on his own. His fists clenched as he quickly realized that Andol didn't understand the way Dragons reacted just yet, or the way they expressed their emotions.

"Xaid's passionate." Adrian added, wincing as he limped over towards Andol. He leaned on the counter and offered a smile. Sure he was hurt by his brother's behavior, but that wasn't the key point here. "He loves you. He didn't mean to upset you." He had to say it for Xaid, because Xadrien probably had no idea to put together a sentence like that during a fight. During the aftermath of a fight? Sure. He could be sweet and affectionate, but during a fight he was a stubborn Draconic male.

Andol let out a soft sigh of ovbious annoyance, when he realized that he was fighting a losing battle. He knew that he just had to accpect that Xaid would not stop this.... yet the young man's opintion of the dragon did take a complete nose dive, and he alomst reconsidered the status of there relationship. He knew he could techincally order Xaid to go away... yet he did not want to torture the big guy like that... because no matter what happened, he loved Xaid very dearly.

The more he thought about, the more he found the actions of the larger male to be quite flattering. No one had ever stood up for him in that manner, and protected him form verbal insults. It really had the affect of endearing the young man to the larger male more than it did, making Andol mad. He knew that would simply just need to be understanding with the dragon. It would be foolish to completely tear down the best thing that had ever happened to him, over somthing like this. Adrain was alright after all and seemed more worried about how he felt towards Xaid... than how he felt so that said somthing to the young man, on how normal Xaid's actions turely where.

A small smile crossed his face at what the larger male said, "That is fair egough just as long as you said it I guess..." That was probably as good as he was going to get anyway, and Andol had knew before he made the order that any apology would be a lie... which is why he wanted Xaid to say it... even if it was a lie, it was still the proper thing to say. The young man walked forward and wrapped his arms around the dragon in a hug, " I am sorry that I yelled at you... and hurt you by telling you what to do........." He then took Andrain's words and basically put the in Xaid's mouth when he softly spoke to the larger male, "I love you Xaid." He rested his head on it's rightful place on the dragons chest.

Even the thought of fighting with Andol made Xadrien's muscles tense, so the fact that they were actually doing it was very distressing. He didn't really care so much that he had protected him the only way he knew how, but it hurt to think that Andol was pissed off at him for just trying to do so. His fist clenched as he turned the hurt into the only emotion he knew how to convey, anger. And then suddenly the feel of Andol's forgiving voice nearly immediately made his blood cool. He looked down at his young master and frowned, trying to figure it out.

"You aren't mad anymore?" He wrapped his arms around him and rested his chin atop his head, every muscle in his body loosening up with their interaction. A low, more happy, growl came from deep in his chest. He was content now and a slow smile spread across his masculine features. It almost made him look sadistic, but he was in a particularly good mood now. It was amazing just how quickly Andol's forgiveness worked. It meant more to him than anything else in the world, because all he wanted to do was offer his protection and make the other happy. To be doing so was all he needed. "Mn. Good."

He thought about this for a few minutes, and just how deeply the human was beginning to impact his life. It'd been just over 24 hours now and they already seemed to be learning alot about each other. Their connection would be out of control within just a weeks time. "I'm sorry I upset you." That apology, however, was extremely genuine.

The genuinity in those words made Adrian smile. "There you go." His lips twitched and he went to go get a glass of water. His mobility was returning to him. He hoped Andol realized that Xaid wouldn't kill a member of his family, not unless that person was a direct threat to him. But that was the lifestyle of a dragonmaster. There was a creature in the world willing to protect you at all costs. All possible costs.

The young man sighed happily as he felt the larger male's arms wrap around him, and Xaid's strong chin rest on his head. The human felt so much better now that they where not fighting and there was no arguement. He was back where he belonged, being held close to Xaid. He knew that he still had quite a bit to learn about the way that dragons acted, and he planned to do all that he could to make sure that he learned Xaid inside and out. Figuretivly speaking of course. He nuzzled his head into the dragons chest and spoke with his soft and almost innocent sounding voice, " No I am not... you apoligized and that is all that matters to me." There was no way he could ever stay mad at Xaid.

Andol looked up into the dragons eyes when the other spoke to him, "It is ok Xaid... I forgive you." He always would forgive the larger male no matter what happened, or what the dragon did. He felt such a deep and lasting connection to his guardian that he knew there was no way that Xaid could ever do anything that could make him dislike the larger male. He just softly nuzzled his head into the dragons chest as his soft breath came for his lips and washed right over it.

He then said somthing that he felt that he really needed to say. He reached up and took both of Xaid's cheeks in his hands and directed the others eyes to look into his own, "Thank you for protecting me Xiad, I really apperciate it... to tell you the turth, it felt good to have someone stand up for me like that. Your the very first person to ever do that for me. I love you so much." As the last word left his lips, he used his hold on the dragons head to softly bring there lips together, as he softly kissed his guardian. He knew that Xaid had only been trying to protect him, and the young man wanted to let the other male know, that despites everything.... overall the dragon had done the right thing.

Xadrien reciprocated the kiss, lacing it with passion and every bit of built up emotion. He gave the young master a fond squeeze, holding Andol still tightly to his body. As though that weren't enough, he pulled him in closer. He snugged him into his chest tightly into his body and closed their distance even further.

Their disagreement earlier had left Xadrien extremely uncomfortable and tense, but now that his muscles were finally relaxing he found it difficult to say much more than he already had. Stroking Andol's hair and hugging him deeply into his chest, letting out a slow growl of relief he murmered. "Mn. I love you too." As he nuzzled the top his his head. A large toothy grin crossed his features as he rested his chin atop his master's head.

Though his head didn't turn, Xadrien noticed another presence in the room and aknowledged it. "Hello Jestan."

Rounding the corridor was another unfamiliar face to Andol. Jestan's figure was slightly less bulky than Xadrien's a more lean muscle mass. He wasn't wearing a shirt, his bare chest exposed and chiseled to perfection. A black towel was draped around his neck as though he'd just gotten finished with some intense activity. It was the daily routine...and Bamre usually showed up to practice, but today his own master was ill. He grabbed a bottle of water for himself and began to make tea to take care of him.

"Good morning Xaid. We missed you at practice. It's just not as difficult and informative without you."

Andol continued to just let himself be held in the larger male's arms, and the feeling of Xaid's hands rubbing his hand over his head, felt good. He said happily with pleasure has the other male held him closer. He never had felt so safe in his life as when he was being held in Xaid's arms. The dragon’s words seemed to flow straight into his ears... and settled every fear in the human’s body, or relaxed every tense muscle that was in his lithe body. This one of those moments when he wished he had meet Xaid sooner, and then maybe he would not have had such a hard life. The things that he had had to struggle through at such a young age, after the death of his family had been bad... yet having Xaid holding him close seemed to make every moment that he resisted feeling of wanting to just quit and give up worth it.

That was when he heard Xaid speak to another presence that was in the room with them. He looked past Xaid, and noticed another dragon that he did not know. He realized that the other had been training when the new dragon said so... yet has had been said before, they had been preoccupied with each other to do anything such as training.

Though there was soon another presence that entered the room, as Bamre stumbled in, with an obviously sickly walk... He had heard the yelling going on down stairs and became very curious. Bamre was different form Andol, because he had more muscle to him than his brother, plus the fact his eyes did not have that largeness to them and they where blue. Yet another noticeable difference was the hair color, Bamre's was a very light brown compared to his brothers jet black hair. Bamre was also older than his brother by 2 years, and showed his age a bit more than Andol. He moved in and spoke in a voice that obviously showed he was sick, "Hello love...." He was speaking to Jestan in his usually affectionate manner, and also extended a greeting to Xaid, "Hello Xaid... getting a little mad today are we?" He had recognized the voices from his place up stairs, "So what is for breakfast today?" The man looked like he was about to fall at any second

When Andol heard the voice of someone else speak... and it was a voice that sounded so familiar. He pulled out of Xaid's arms for a moment and studied the human that had just come in... yet who was this person who seemed so familiar. That face, those eyes, that hair, he could not exactly place a finger on it, but he was sure that he knew who this was. Someone he knew, but he just could not think of a name, so he figured to wait a few moments to see if someone else said his name..... Bamre was having the same dilemma on trying to figure out who this person was.... though first he had to get over the shock that indeed Xaid had a male for a master, he had been told, but he just couldn't believe it, and now he was seeing with his own eyes. Yet he also felt he knew this person, but like Andol decided to wait to see if the other person was named.

Jestan had been absorbed with his search for food when he heard the ring of his master's voice. Instantaneously he perked up and looked over his shoulder to see that he hadn't just imagined it. Pulling his brows together, he narrowed his gaze and closed the refrigerator thus ending his search. "Bamre. What are you doing out of bed?" The voice he used was a concerned one, but that didn't mean it lacked a stern attitude. Some days the human was just a bit too concerned for the dragons. And Jestan hadn't heard the yelling take place earlier so he wasn't aware of what could have awaken Bamre until he mention Xaid and Adrian's fight.

He was at Bamre's side instantaneously, tilting his chin up with his forefinger and thumb so that their gazes met. He embraced the older male affectionately as he greeted him with a passionate kiss. It was slow, sensual and soothing. "I was going to bring some tea up to you. Why don't you get better greeted with Xaid's master later? Don't wear yourself down, my love." he doted, looking back over his shoulder to Xaid, accusingly.

"There was a fight? Are we twelve? What the fuck is wrong with you Xadrien? You know Bamre hasn't been feeling well." he said with a small growl. He shot an intense glare at his older brother as he gave the man in his arms a very fond squeeze. It was protective, and made certain to hold him up even in his ill state.

Bamre smiled over at Jestan and just shrugged, "Hey what can I say... I needed to see what the fuss was about." He tried to laugh, but it came out in a cough. Yet he very soon found himself being gathered up into his dragon's arms. He smiled softly at this devolpment, becuase he was now in his favorite place to be. Plus it made him feel a little better just to be near Jestan, so he returned the kiss just has affectionately. Yet the instant there lips parted his eyes went back to studing Xaid new master.. to try and figure out who the other male was.

Andol stayed there studing the new man that came into the room. Though when he saw the instant affection bettewwen this master and his dragon he could only smile at how cute it was. The young man realized that this is what him and Xaid must look like in there moments together... and he thought it was so sweet. In a way it turely showed him how protective all dragons where of there masters, and how loving. Becuase he could quickly tell that this dragon and master pair where also lovers like him and Xaid. Now Andol knew that he would finally have someone to talk to, and maybe get advice form, yet it was still the similar nature of this other male that kept him wondering. Yet it was when the dragon turned to yell at Xaid and only one word stayed in Andol's mind and it stuck there.... Bamre.

Andol was in almost a stunned state of shock as his face went pale, if it could even get any more pale. He stutter out one word, "Bamre....?" He now knew it... it had to be his brother, yet he was supposed to be dead. Why was he here now? The younger male could not figure it out. He began to stumble in the direction of his brother and Jestan, saying "Bamre... is that really you?" He got closer and asked, "But your supposed to be dead." Once he was closer he reached out and looked at Bamre's arm and saw the scars there, and it was no more denying that this was indeed his brother..."Bamre it is me... Andol."

Now it was Bamre's turn to go into a stunned silence... for he two had beilieve his little brother was dead. He did not think that Andol could have survived on his own, and yet here he was, and indeed a dragonmaster just like himself, "Andol... how... is that really you." The other human only nodded, and Bamre answered him, "Yes it is me.... but I though you where dead." Andol shook his head as he began to feel a little dizzy... this whole thing was so much for him that it was sending him into a state of shock, and soon he passed out, though Bamre who was sick was still faster egough to slipped out of Jestan's arms and cacth his young brother.. though he had to lower him to the ground because he just could not hold him..

He looked over in Xiad's direction knowing how protective dragons could be and that he needed to say somthing he simply said, "Xaid... you master... is my long lost brother..." The shock on Bamre's face was aslo easy to see, but he did not pass out... This was less of a shock to him, becuase he had always known there was a chance, however small that Andol was alive.

Jestan smiled sweetly and pressed a few kisses all over Bamre's face, holding him tightly. "Always the curious one." He gave him a fond squeeze, but got suddenly very serious. "You really need your rest, though. I mean...arguing between my brothers isn't worth your health." he said, then buried his face in Bamre's neck, growling pleasurably as he nuzzled the sensitive flesh of his own master. Once again, he showered him with affections in the form of kisses pressed to his skin. He placed his hand on either side of his arms, rubbing them lightly, holding him up as he dipped his fingers in and began massaging the scarred muscles lightly.

The younger dragon stopped in his tracks, holding off on his kisses as silence hung thick in the air. As the two master's studied each other, it became clear that they were trying to figure out where they recognized each other from. Xadrien hadn't a clue that it could be Andol's brother because they didn't look all too much like siblings at a glance. However, when Andol uttered the name of the other male, the words trailing sounded like almost a curse. They were obviously tied together by some lengthy past...

After the dialogue Andol had fainted from shock. Jestan tugged Bamre quickly back into his arms. "Bamre, you don't have the strength to be catching anybody!" he said, his voice thick with worry as he held him tightly into his chest. He would have scooped him up into his arms and cradled him if the moment didn't seem so emotional for the both of them.

Xadrien, however, was right behind Andol...he's sensed the energy drop of his master and was behind him, catching him and cradling him into his lap. "Fuck." he said, tracing the lines of his masters face. "Andol. Are you okay?" he attempted waking him up, but knew it would have no avail. Jestan propped Bamre up on the kitchen counter and let him sit there while he fetched a cool rag for Andol's head. Xadrien took a moment for those words to think in. God, no wonder...the state Andol was in when he saved him, indicated he had a very rough past. He probably believed his brother was dead.

"Oh god, really?" he asked, taking the rag from Jestan and draping it gently across his master's forehead.

Bamre smiled with a sense of delight as he was held in the arms of his dragon... that was just one of the things he liked most about being a dragon master, was the fact that he was doted on and cared for by his dragon. The creature who cared for him most was also his lover... they where both one and the same, and nothing he knew could ever give him a better scense of security. He just buried his head into the dragons shoulder and let the other love on him while helping him to stay standing, "You know you worry to much sometimes."

Yet his sense of peace he had was now broken when he saw his little brother laying here on the floor. They had always been very close to each other, and Bamre would usally protect Andol, sinice he was the larger of the two... and this was what had made him try to cacth his brother, before he could feel himself being halled back into the arms of the dragon, "No Andol!!" Yet just as he had hope Xaid was soon at his brothers side and now held him close. Bamre let out a sigh of relief at this, and did not struggle against Jestan to try and reach his brother... he did not have egough strength anyway... plus he knew his little brother was well taken care of. Very well. He had known Xaid long egough to know this very well.

He soon found himself sitting on the counter, which was somthing that he could do in his weaked state. Sitting was not a problem for him, and he looked over at Xaid worriedly, "Yes he is Xaid... may I ask where you found him?" Bamre wanted to know the details, sinice Andol could not exactly provide any at this moment, he hoped that the dragon would be happy to provide the answers that he was seeking. It was understandable sinice he had not seen his little brother in so long and he just wanted to know where Andol was found.... and how.

Andol found himself in darkness, after seeing what he thought was a ghost... yet soon as Xaid began to drap the rag on his head, it was a few mintues later before Andol began to stir, and out of the cornor of his eye, he noticed Bamre and realized that he had not been dreaming. Indeed his brother was alive and well. Yet at the same time it gave him a sense of relief, and comfort, knowing he now had his brother too... not just Xaid, but aslo his brother. They had been really close and he was gald to see him alive.

Yet the young man was still slow to stir at the moment, and he just opened his eyes all the way gently as he could feel he was being held in Xaid's strong arms... which only brought a innocent smile to his face. He looked up into the worried face of the dragon, and answered Xaid's question as though he had heard it... even though he really had not, "Don't worry Xaid... I am alright... just a little shock is all... I did not expect to see a ghost." He gave a half hearted laugh as he looked up at his dragon and reached up to rub his hand over his dragons cheek before setting it back down again.

Jestan was quick to return to Bamre's side, as was the dynamic of their relationship. It wasn't simply because the human was sick. Before Bamre had ever asked, Jestan was always there to attend to whatever it was that needed tending and care. There wasn't a heartbeat that the dragon missed, not an idea he didn't entertain, not an affection he wasn't attentive to. A slow growl of pleasure escaped his chest as he felt the other's reaction calm down. It had been a shock for both master's but Jestan was glad the tension was dissolving and his heartbeat was slowing.

Though Xadrien's touch was directed at Andol, his own master, his gaze met with Bamre's. "He wasn't int he best condition when I found him, to say the least." he uttered, reluctant to volunteer information. But he nodded. If Andol wanted to tell the entire story, it could serve as a means of bonding and catching up in the future.

Obviously the older of the two dragons as a bit more stubborn when it came to affection, but Andol recieved it from him easily. Despite the fact that Andol was persisting everything wwas okay, he continued doting on him. Ignoring those words he kept the cool rag draped over his forehead and his hands working to massage the other man's body in hopes to quell his beating heart. It was going a mile a minute, and it as surprising considering it should have been more of a cardiac arrest. It worried Xadrien to think of such a matter.

He grunted. "You hush. It will be okay when I say it is." he insisted with a frown.

Bamre smiled happily and could feel his tense body relaxing when Jestan had returned near him. That was the way it had always been since day one. The other male had always been there to dote on him and take good care of him without even a word being said. He had never felt so pampered before, even back with his parents in there large mansion. It was more that Jestan combined the doting with so much love and affection that the man just felt swept up by it sometimes. He was sometimes glad that his family had been attacked the way it was, especially now that he saw his brother in Xaid's arms. He had never seen Andol as warm and affectionate as the human was now.

He looked towards Xaidrien and nodded his head softly, "I am not surprised really... though I will say that he did better than what I though... I mean how many years has it been Jestan... 12 years now? I mean Andol was only 8 when it happened." It had not been looked after he had been captured in the attack that Jestan had rescued him from the slavers, "I had never really thought of my little brother has being one who could survive in that manner... always the bookworm, better in mind than body." Yet he did not know that had changed recently, but he could only assume so. Looking at his dragon for a moment he asked, "Hey can you help me get closer to Andol, so we can talk?" He did not feel that he could go rest without figuring out more about what had happened with Andol.

Andol just snuggled up close to the larger male that was holding him and sighed happily. He had now gotten over the initial shock and was starting to calm down. The feeling of wanting to catch up with Bamre was now the thing that pervaded his senses. Though he did looked up at Xaid and with a soft laugh said, "You’re always such a sweetheart you know that? I love you." The young man could not help, but say that over and over again. He had never been doted on so much. It was just a heavenly feeling. He just let Xaid have his way for the moment, but decided that he was still going to talk to his brother... and Jestan for that matter. There were two sides to the story he was sure.

Looking up at his brother and Jestan he asked the pair, “So Bamre tell me why where you gone when I got back from where I was playing, I mean the house was burning and no one was there. What happened?” Bamre looked at his brother for a moment and said, “Well about a hour after you had left I had been awoke by noises outside and looked out the window to see a lot of strange men trying to break down the gate, of course the guards where trying to stop them, but where quickly overpowered. The men burst in and began to move through the house killing every servant that they came across. Father was killed when he tried to protect me and mom, but when they burst into the room we were in, they drug me away, and I think that they raped mom repeated… I don’t know if they killed her, but I never saw her again. Then I was dragged outside and they tied me up and threw me into a cart… I was so scared that they had killed you or that you had been taken somewhere else. After that I simply blacked out… not sure if they hit me with something or what.” He was softly crying by now when he was speaking and then he turned and looked over at Jestan and said almost half heartedly, “You want to tell the rest Jestan? Don’t want to leave you out of the story telling, plus I don’t remember much until I woke up in your room.”

Bamre though planned to make he asked what Andol had done after the attack, he was sure that Xaid had probably not even heard the story since him and Andol had not really been together all that long, plus if Xaid had heard then he was sure that him and Andol would have been reunited a lot sooner than they had. He still could not believe it... Andol was alive, and not only was that he Xaid's master... Xaid of all dragons... had his little brother for a master. The fact just wowed him.

Realizing he was making himself upset speaking of the matter, Jestan frowned. Carefully, he pulled Bamre off the counter and slipped him back into the rightful place against his body. Paying attention to the fact that the other male was weak, he let him lean there and did whatever he could to help hold him up. With both hands, Jestan ran his fingers through Bamre's soft lockes, fingers trickling along his scalp in attempt to quell his swelling tears. Silently, he shook his head as his hand's returned to his master's waiste. He pulled him close, the other male's back to his chest and hugged him tightly, resting his chin on his shoulder.

He contemplated what he was going to say for a brief moment, but then spoke in a low, soothing growl of a voice. "Mn. And then I found you and now you're treated like the gold you are." he sad, giving him a fond squeeze. "So why don't we talk about the negative things at a later date? Have some Tea with honey to help you're sickness and perhaps talk about more positive things until you're a bit less ill?" he suggested, sincerely concerned for the other's health. He'd learned that negative emotions sparked the body to react in negative ways. He didn't need Bamre getting more sick.

"Then you and Andol will actually be able to watch Draconic practice tomorrow." he grinned, musing over the thought. "Now isn't that a more sexy image?"

Bamre began to relax as he found himself being pulled off the counter and back into the arms of his dragon again. Nothing ever relaxed him more than when Jestan held him. It did not matter how upset or sad he got, whenever Jestan was this close to him, he felt happy again... he felt safe. This was one of those moment that he was glad that his life had took such a bad turn those years ago, and just looking at his little brother, this only made him more so, " It would have been funny though had you and Xaid just happened to find us together. Quite a conicidince that two dragon masters come form the same family." The tears had diffently stopped flowing and the young man was even smiling now.

Nodded his head softly in agreement Bamre spoke though was intruppted by a cough before he could say, "Yeah I think I would enjoy some, but do you have egough for Andol too maybe." Bamre had spent alot of time wacthing out for his little brother, and now that they other was back, he still could not let go of the habit of wanting to do so. It was just in his nature to care. He turned around in the other male's arms and wrapped his own arms weakly around the dragon. The man just sighed happily... quite please at the devolpments, "That sounds like a more sexy image indeed." He grinned at the thought, Jestan looked so handsome when he was training.

Andol by this time had regained egough energy that he was able to finally sit up, though he remained in Xaid's lap while he was sitting so that he would not end up worrying his dragon to death. Yet the young man did not say anything for a bit while he got his barings and had most of his color returning to his face, obviously by now he had recovered, "Jestan is right... I do think we should talk about somthing else. Yet I will say that I am most happy to see you again Bamre." He rested his head on Xaid's shoulder and wishpered into his dragon's ear, "So what do you think we should do for the rest of the day love." He knew that it would not be long before Jestan deicded to steal his brother back away to bed.

Jestan held Bamre close, his looming presence simutaneously protective and even more affectionate. He continued to stroke his hair, happy to have gained his trust on such a deep level. Moreover, he was happy Bamre was moving onto a much more positive train of through. As he placed a very gentle kiss to the top of his head he nodded. "It's indeed, a coincidence." he offered a smile. "But sometimes it isn't. Fate, perhaps, brought you two back together. Otherwise you could have very well been spending your lives apart.

It was obvious which of the two brothers actually thought with his mind, rather than his dick. Jestan knew it and hell, Xadrien knew it. Xaid could be good with words when he wanted to, but it was more important to protect the physical presence of those he cared about with his own. It was part of being a dragon, to use your much stronger powers to your advantage.

As Bamre expressed his concern for his brother getting enough tea, he led him to the chair and helped him settle into a comfortable position. "Of course we have enough." He gave a mock-scoff. But it was extremely playful. It helped lighten the mood. "We live in this large estate and you're worried about a small bit of tea?" he said with a grin, retrieving the hot water. "One of these days I'll show you how to harvest your own from the gardens. It could be something for you to do on those days when I'm away on Dragonic business. And perhaps a way for you and Andol to bond."

Xadrien moved Andol from the floor to a more comfortable chair, once he was positive that the other male had enough energy to support himself in one. Regardless, he stayed at his side in case Andol wanted to lean against him.

"Positive things. Yes. Reuniting." he grunted. "And all that jazz." he said, contibuting comedically to the conversation as he rubbed Andol's thigh to calm him best he could. "I hope you're feeling better now. I can imagine your shock. But just be grateful it happened this way."

The older master cooed softly with happiness as the other softly stroked his head. Jestan was always so affectionate it with him, and he throughly enjoyed every second of it. It had always been this way ever sinice he was resuced by the other male, like a knight in shining armor Jestan killed his captors and then took him away into the sunset, and brought him into this life of complete and utter happiness. Now he was always with the person who would take care of and love him the most. He softly nodded his head in agreement to what his dragon said. Jestan always seemed to have such a way with words. It amazed Bamre everytime the other spoke, "So so true.... you really have a way with words don't you sweety."

Bamre laughed weakly at his dragon's reaction to his question, as he leaned aginst the table he was sitting in front of, "I guess I should have thought about that before I said anything... but you know how it is. A guy has to take care of his little brother." That was the way Bamre had always been. Worrying over Andol all the time, even though he knew that Andol now had Xaid to do that, he still just could not help it. It was simply a force of habit. "That does indeed sound like a lovely idea now that I think about, yet I am sure that you don't need to show me Jestan... I am pretty sure that it would be more intersting for me and Andol to figure it out by ourself."

When Andol felt himself being moved to a chair he was gald to be getting off the floor... and when Xaid stood near him he opted to lean on the larger male. Though his reason was more that he wanted to be close to Xaid rather that the fact that he actually needed any support. He knew that Xaid would not mind this in the least. He had not yet spoken to much in the coversation, becuase he was having a hard time figuring out what to say, so he diecded to let his actions speak louder than his words as he reached over and hugged his brother saying, "I am so gald that your alive and I get to see you again." The other male returned the hug saying, "I am too... I am too."
