Belle hadn't slept very well, or very long that night. She woke up in the morning--an unusual occurrence for her since her arrival to the castle. She was just in time to see her father off and give him something for good luck. Once he was gone, she felt lonely again. This castle was so big and gloomy...surely the prince himself must have felt isolated. Though it was quite clean, she couldn't help but feel as though something needed to be done. She needed a way to brighten the place up a bit.
Thoughts like this kept occurring to her as she worked alone in the garden. Soon, servants joined her and by noon, they had all finished one half of the large garden together. Pleased that she'd accomplished so much, the beauty began to feel sleepy. She retired to her room to bathe and change. Perhaps she would take a nap later...And then she remembered her dream. The Prince had said he'd wanted to spend time with her--a week together. And if she had still enjoyed his presence...she blushed at the thought of them continuing what had happened last night, her heart racing in her chest.
After she was finished bathing, she wore a regal, blue dress with lovely lace details. It covered her legs nicely but showed off her chest quite nicely. Again, she wore one of the queen's necklaces and smiled at her reflection. Her hair was soft and down once more, curled sweetly at the ends. When she left the room, she asked where she might find the prince. When she was told that he was in court, she quickly made her way there and silently slipped in, taking a seat with a few other ladies with cloaks on, she wasn't sure that she'd been obstructive or not. People were noticing her presence, but it was hard to tell if they were looking at her or not from beneath their cloaks. She wondered, briefly, if she should be wearing one as well--after all, she didn't wish to offend. Perhaps she would discuss it with him later. For now, she watched him as he handled business, smiling softly as he did so.
