Able to love and be loved in return

"Yes, Sorry I do I don't trust the counsel when it comes to matters like this. Don't tell them you've fallen in love with a vampire, they'll kill you right there, you'll be digging both of our graves, by telling them that." She stated even more worry showed on her face. She bit her lip as he said he was going alone, If only she hadn't been beaten by a werewolf she'd be able to walk with him.

"I don't thrust them either but I'm giving it a shot. Probably I can run away faster then them," Grant said. Grant stood up. "I'm leaving now because then I'm back tomorrow." The counsel was in a town not so far from the hospital, Grant was going to run for an hour and then he was there. He looked at her and gave her a kiss. "I promise that I'll return," he continued.

"Grant...please don't..." She begged one last time, she was sure she wouldn't see him again. She kissed him back as he kissed her, she would have been right after him if she could walk, and if she wasn't strapped to the bed, in various place. Katrina watched him go, unable to stop him.

Grant walked out of the hospital and when he was out, he shifted. He started to run towards the city where the Counsel was. About half an hour later, he arrived there. He shifted back so that they wouldn't catch him right away. He looked around in the city for some Vampire-signals but he didn't saw them at first. So he was going to wait until he saw something that would lead him to the counsel.

Katrina was a nervous wreck in the hospital knowing Grant was about to be surrounded by vampires, and she was stuck there. She could be of no help to him and if he didn't return, she'd know what happened and they may even try to find her a dispose of her as well. All Trina could do was wait, and she was more of a wreck now that she had fed she was now awake and alert.

Grant saw some counselors when he was in the town for half an hour already. He followed them towards the spot where the counsel was going to take place at. He hoped that they weren't going to spot him to soon because then he was a death man. Scared, Grant kept following them.

The doctors came in to check on Katrina to make sure she was alright. They brought in a human, who worked there who willingly let wounded vampires feed from her. The girl smiled at her and Kat tried to smile back, "It won't hurt will it?" She asked. "No, it won't I promise, just a little pressure." Katrina responed. The girl went closer to Kat, and hovered of her so she could reach her neck, her arms had bandages on them already. Katrina sank her fangs in and started to feed. After a little while of feeding she stopped not wanting to harm the girl, She licked the wound shut. "Thank you." Katrina said and the girl left though worried she felt tired so she hit the button for the bed to recline and drifted off to sleep.

Grant followed the counselors and was at the Vampire Counsel. They all looked at him. "Hello Were, reveal yourself and stand in the moon please," the Head Counselor said. Grant walked towards the spot that the Head Counselor wanted him. "Hello members of the Counsel. As you know I'm a werewolf and I'm here because I want to end the Vendetta between Were's and Vamps," Grant said. Some of the Counselors laughed and they all showed them self, they were with 10. "Do you want to end the everlasting Vendetta between our races? What's the reason for that?" The second Vampire said.

Grant sighed and said: "I'm on a school with all kind of dark species like vampires, werewolves, chimera's and you know what other kind of species too. I took advantage of a Vampire when I was on that school and that all because of my past. Three Werewolves had abducted me when I was younger and they abused me." The Counselor's looked mad at him because he said that he took advantage of a vampire. "Why should we trust somebody that took advantage of one of our own?" Another Vampire asked. "I never meant to harm her and I'm really sorry about that. But I've saved hers after that fact. She was going to walk in to the sun and I stopped her, also I've betrayed my race to save her," Grant said, looking down to the ground. A female Counselor laughed, "So that's why the Vendetta must end?" Grant looked towards the female and said: "No, that's not the major reason but the fact that the three werewolves that abused me, attacked us and that I've killed them to protect her, is the main reason. The Werewolves were death but somehow their bodies disappeared. And I think that the threesome is going to come for her, also for me but I care more about her then about myself." Grant looked serious and meant every word that he said. The head counselor took one step towards Grant and then said: "We are going to take contact with you after we discussed it. You can go now." Grant nodded and started to walk back to Katrina.

Katrina had been drugged somehow to make her sleep. There was something within the girls blood that put her to sleep. Katrina slept fairly sound, that was the point being high stressed and worried wasn't going to help her heal any faster. Katrina started to dream, starting when Grant had raped her. she moved into other horrific events, the loss of the baby, walking into the sun, finished with the three werewolves. She tossed and turned, she was healing at a nice rate, for her to move like that.

When Grant arrived back at the hospital, he saw that Katrina was asleep and he sat down next to her bed. He took his hand and waited. I'm glad that I've returned safely. Probably the Counsel isn't going to accept what I said but who never tries, never wins, Grant thought in himself. As he caressed her hand, he saw that she had blood on her fangs from somebody else, probably from a girl that offered herself to him. He smiled at the sleeping beauty and hoped that she was going to wake up soon so that he could tell her everything about what happened at the Counsel.

In her sleep she bared her teeth, as if she was about to fight. Then her blood family came into the picture. She looked at them, they seemed disappointed in her. Probably because she has become the very thing that killed them, but it wasn't her fault it wasn't her choice. She then awoke feeling something on her hand. She sleepily turned to see Grant, she thought she might still be dreaming. "Grant...?"

"Yes Katrina, I'm back," Grant said. "I've talked to the Counsel and they were going to think about it." He also said everything that he said to them and what they replied on it so that she would know what he had told them. "And they didn't seemed mad or wanting to kill me at all," he added. As he kept caressing her hand, he started to smile.

"I still don't think one incident will end the war, they have to talk to the werewolves form a treaty, have boundaries that both sides agree on it's alot of work." Katrina replied in all honesty it would take a miracle for that to happen. She listened to him and the responses. "It sounds like they are also upset, and love doesn't matter to them. If they were going to kill you they would have done so...unless they wait until after a decision is made. " Katrina replied she felt so tired she couldn't bring her mouth to form into a smile.

"Let them try," Grant said as Katrina told him that they were probably going to kill them after the decision. "They have more trouble with killing the three revived werewolves when the decision is made. I'm not scared at all." Grant looked at her and saw that she was really tired. "You can go back to sleep."

"Grant they're old and powerful they can do it...you know that. Grant they're dead they're not coming back. You may not be scared but I am...I don't want to sleep...but they drugged me, I can't help it. I wanna stay awake..."

"I don't think that they are death but I'm going to believe you," Grant said, nodding. "You should sleep then. They probably did it so that you would be calm or something like that. Not really to drug you." Grant looked in her eyes and smiled. "I love you Katrina," he added.

Katrina tried to smile, it worked better this time. "I know...but I..don't...want...too..." as she spoke she was dozing off again. Falling asleep before getting to say 'I love you' back.

Grant sighed as Katrina fell asleep and he started to walk around in the room, thinking about what the Counsel was going to do right now. Maybe he was going to be killed but not by the Counsel but maybe by the Tribune, The Tribune is the 'Counsel' of The Weres and they are sometimes even worse then the Counsel is.

Katrina was off in dreamland nice again. This time she was reliving her family's death. Through the eyes of the vampires, watching as they murdered her parents and how they fondled and bleed her little sister. Then attacking her, she thought she was going to die but was given a fate worse than death. She tossed and turned once more.

Grant wasn't really busy with what Katrina was doing in her sleep, he was more focused on what the Counsel was going to choose. He just hoped that Katrina was going to be unharmed after their decision because if they would harm her, he was going to make the Vendetta even worse. Then he was going to pact with the devil to go in his Ultimate Form... The BloodMoon Werewolf. But if he was in that form, he could shift to the lightness version or the darkness version depending of the situation.

Katrina then slipped into another dream she was brought before both werewolf and vampire counsels, they were charging her with some sort of crime she couldn't hear them. She was in unbreakable chains and was then hooked onto a stake. Grant was there he was also in chains, that couldn't be broken. He was on the floor facing her. All of the Vampires left the room as well as the werewolves out of respect. Though the werewolves watched through hidden holes. Then there was a cracking sound, she looked up and part of the ceiling moved away. The sunlight started to shine in. Katrina started to struggle to free herself but the sun beat her to freedom. She screamed in agonizing pain as the sun roughed her flesh burning her to a crisp. Inbeknownst to her she let out a scream in her sleep so it could be heard outside of her dream.

When Grant heard that she was screaming, he turned his head towards her and acted a bit freaking himself. "Katrina?" He whispered, not sure if she was still asleep or that she was partly happy. If he would knew that she dreamed that dream, he was going to lay the connection with the dream that he had when they forced her into the sun. He didn't said anything, he only sat down next to her bed and waited for a reaction or for a snore.

Katrina moved around a bit pulling at her restraints. Her face looked pained. Almost as if she knew, once Grant sat down, her eyes opened wide. Wide with fear, blood leaked from the corner of her eyes, she was crying blood. She went to reach for Grant but her body was still held to the bed by her binds.

As Katrina tried to reach for him, he sat down next to the bed on the cold ground. Now Katrina could reach his body. "What's wrong?" Grant asked. Although he was a bit startled because of the fact that he saw a vampire crying blood for the first time in his life, he tried to stay strong for Katrina, he wanted to be there for her.

Katrina laid her head on his shoulder. "Nothing, just had dream...just a bad dream." She stated shakily blood continued to flow out of her eyes. Trying to rest in his embrace.
