Denying Fate (Anjeru and Raziel)

She blinks, holding back a moan as he pumps himself inside of her. Her walls throbbed around him hotly, her toes curled where her legs were wrapped around his waist. "I admit I may have...jumped the gun," she admits, a bit ashamedly. "Is this, is this really the time to discuss this?" She chuckled, pulling his head back to hers and kissing him in a deep, hot, passionate kiss, her tongue dueling with his.

“I suppose not.” It was a weight off his chest, at least, and he found he could enjoy the time with her once more. Her grip and pulse pulled moan after moan from him, a hand sliding up her back, holding her shoulder to push deep into her, pulling her down onto him. She kissed him, and his tongue was soon dancing with hers, holding a hot kiss. Hot thrust after thrust until he couldn’t control himself anymore, hot cum filling her on the inside.

She lost all ability to think as he gripped her shoulder, pulling her down even harder onto his length as it continued to spear her. Her lips parted from his, breathless gasps and moans following as he thrust, and thrust, pushing her higher and higher, winding her tighter and tighter, until finally the coil snapped and her back bowed, a cry erupting from her lips as her walls tightened around him, milking him, flooding him with her release as he took filled her.

Their combined orgasm shook his very being, and it was pure resolve that kept his legs up. As she pulsed and gripped at him, pulling every drop from him, he held her close, panting against her neck. After a long minute, he shifted, helping her to her feet, letting the water wash over him. A soft smile was on his face, and he leaned forward to kiss her lightly. “It seems you have to rewash now.”

"Seems that way," she chuckles. She kisses him back, lightly, a brush over his lips, before she steps around him on shaky legs. She ran her fingers though her hair as the water sprayed over her face and head, before moving her hands down to cleanse her body clean of what they'd done, though she was almost loathe to do so. She was finished after a moment, turning the water off, that had cooled during their coupling; she leaned out of the shower to grasp a towel, before wrapping herself in it and wringing out her hair.

Zalera had stepped out of the shower after she washed, a refreshing breeze going past him, taking away all the sweat, water, and grime from his body. He took a towel anyway, wrapping it around his hips and moving to sit on the bed. He was patient, and when he saw her come out he smiled surprisingly brightly.

“You are a gem of beauty to the eye.” He said softly, patting the bed for her to come over and sit. “I am lucky to find someone like you to be with.”

Alirei cocked her head and looked at him for a long moment, a soft smile teasing across her pliable lips. He was so handsome, not that she hadn't noticed that the night before; that was one reason she had floundered so. It was unlike a Valkyrie to be so uncoordinated and undriven in the presence of a vampire. Though, as she looked at him now, she realized that he wasn't just some vampire. He was her vampire...and she wasn't sure how she felt about that.

With the towel still wrapped around her, wet strands of red hair clinging to her pale skin, she padded over to the pad and seated herself beside him. She knocked her shoulder against his with a chuckle. "You're far more attractive than I."

That soft smile teased at him, and he sent her one of his own. She was truly a beauty, a gem even in this city of Valkyries. But it wasn’t her beauty that had drawn him to her. No, it was fate, and her determination. She was steadfast in her convictions until he showed her otherwise. She was strong in mind and body. And that he loved.

She finally took a seat next to him, bumping into him while talking, a soft laugh coming from him. Before he answered, soft arms wrapped around her, pulling her onto his lap, sitting her across it. “Nay. You are a far more beautiful one than I. I must be blessed by fate to have been bound to you.”

She smiles as he sets her in his lap, leaning to lay her head against him; no doubt Nix was laughing at her right now, how determined she had been to fight this only to now be sitting in his lap and, well, cuddling with him. Nix's prophecies were never false; must have been amusing for Alirei to have fought it so - though she wasn't the first to have denied the vision. "Fate has a warped sense of humor, that's for sure," she chuckled.

“Warped, yes, but I cannot say that Fate had been anything less than kind.” Zalera chuckled as she rested her head against him, a hand removing the towel before sliding fingers into her hair. “It has brought us together. It has made us stronger. There is still work yet to be done in the world… but for now, this suffices, don’t you agree?” He smiled as he shifted to look at her, and a soft kiss was given, arms wrapping around her and pulling her closer.

She mmm'd and gave the soft kiss in return, leaning into him; she didn't see any point in arguing it as she had the night before, before he had shown her exactly how her body could respond, and to him. Never before had she felt anything close to what she had with him, and she was skeptical that she could with anyone else given she had never felt anything near as close before he had come along. "True," she sighs softly as she nuzzles against him.

She was pliant against him, and he gladly held her against him, cuddling against her. She was surprisingly sweet to him, something that he wouldn’t ever thought possible after last night. He laid back, pulling her along for the moment, holding her against his chest. “So what now? I have to leave sometime tonight to report to my brother about this alliance.”

"Sounds like a good start," she nuzzles his chest before she slips out of the bed to find her clothes. She towels off her hair and then tosses the towel onto the chair, before she slips back into her clothes, seemingly unphased with her nudity after what they've shared; an interesting take after how much guff she'd given him when he hadn't warned her he was nude when she had entered his room. "I will need to speak to Annika, and Nix - at the least...I'm sure I'll be cornered by some of my other sisters as well, for not showing up during the day, especially when we had our vampire quest in the room next to my own."

He suddenly felt hollow for a long moment. They were going to have to separate for the moment? He supposed it was for the best… but that divide was already pulling at him. Still, he kept a brave face about it. “I’m hoping not to take too long, but where will we meet up afterward?” He tilted his head as he watched her get dressed once more. Another sad moment, he doubted she would ever need clothes around him. But, she was going out in the open, so best to be prepared and not looking weird.

"My room is in the main house, third floor. Last balcony on the left." She combs her fingers through her hair and offers a soft, teasing smile. "You can find me there. Talking to my sisters shouldn't take long...shouldn't being the keyword there. There is...a lot to talk about." She walks over to him, cupping his face in her hands and pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. "I'll see you soon then?"

She was surprisingly strong, and he couldn’t help the smile as he heard her, felt her hands on his cheeks. He returned the soft kiss, pulling her closer, not bothering with clothes for the moment. “I will see you soon.” He said in a soft voice, nipping her lip lightly. He stood, tossing the towel away. His clothes appeared on him, and he pulled her closer for another soft kiss, before walking past her. But he couldn’t help looking back at her before leaving the room.

After he leaves, she sits on the bed for a long moment, running her hand over the surface where she had really felt intense, all consuming, pleasure for the first time in her long, long life. And with a Vampire...the very race she had sworn to hate, to hunt, for as long as she had her immortal life. Things were changing; the world was changing; turned upside down and backwards. Alirei was adaptive, if nothing else. She supposed, with time, this would become a normal thing - her sisters had hated their mates at first, but had come to understand that was meant to be and now even loved them. Maybe...maybe she could, too.

She stood and left the guest house to return the main building. Of course Nix was waiting for her and, after a very frustrating conversation(she almost wanted to slap that gloating grin right off her face), she sought out Sebastian - Kaderin's vampire husband. He had never wanted to be a vampire and his hatred had almost been as potent as hers. Talking with him helped put her at ease; he told her the same as Zalera had, that you couldn't judge each individual vampire by the Horde's action.

She sought out her room, trying up her long auburn curls as she went, still deep in thought.

He was met by Raphael at the gates, and the two of them went through the labyrinthine hallways to Alexander’s office, where he was working, glasses on and writing on parchment. He looked up when they entered, took the glasses off, and the three of them had a long conversation about what to do next. In the end, both Zalera and Alexander were happy: Alex was looking for other allies, and Zalera able to stay as an ambassador. The sadness in Alex’s eyes were visible, the loss of his own mate still weighing on his soul years later.

It was another hour later when he was hiding in Alirei’s room, a patch of unnatural shadows that blended in with the rest of the dark room. He waited for her to enter before jumping out at her, holding her close and spinning her around. “I have some very good news.” He said, a bright smile on his face.

Alirei's hands reached behind her to grip his shoulders, ready to flip him, before she eased up once she realized who it was that was holding her - he really should know better than to sneak up on a hunter. He spins her around and she can't help but return his brilliant smile, his making her heart flutter nervously within her chest - Odin's wrath, what was he doing to her that such a joyful smile on his face could bring such foreign feelings upon her?

"You really shouldn't sneak up on me," she chuckles and sets her arms around his neck, idly linking her fingers together behind. "What's your good news, Zalera?"

He could tell that she was shocked when he snuck up on her, and her warning, even lighthearted, would be remembered. He didn’t need her to slice his throat one night on accident. Her arms went around his neck, and he leaned forward, kissing her softly and lifting her from the ground, moving to sit on the bed.

“I’ve been deemed the Ambassador to the Valkyries.” He said, almost out of breath now from the elation. “Which means that I’m stationed here for a good, long time.” He kissed her again, laying back, pulling her on top of him.

"Well," she chuckles as he lays back on the bed, pulling her on top of him; she slides her knees astride his hips so that she is essentially straddling him, that being the most comfortable way to sit this way. She presses her hands to his chest and smiles down at him. "That's definitely good news." She leans down and kisses him softly, her hair spilling over her shoulder to half curtain their face, her green eyes fluttering shut as she allowed herself a moment to indulge in him. Then she sat back up with a soft chuckle. "Why do I have the feeling we won't be leaving my room anytime soon, however?"

She seemed to have ideas of her own as she straddled him, leaning down, and he returned the kiss generously, enjoying the feel of her hair against him before she sat back up. He looked up at her, chuckling softly as he heard what she said. Slowly, he sat up, gently cupping her cheek in his hand before kissing her once more, breaking it to look into her eyes. “Actually… I was hoping that you would show me around, since I will be here for quite a while, it seems. Knowing the area would be very helpful.”

She leaned into his hand as it cupped her cheek, soft strands of her auburn hair tickling the skin on the back of his strong hand. A smile crossed her lips faintly as he leaned in to kiss her, her body falling pliantly into his; she could kiss him forever, she realized, and it was an almost frightening thought. Pulling back, she slipped out of his lap and off the bed.

"Come then, Zalera, let me show you my home - follow me." She chuckled and moved, stealthy and fluid on her feet, toward the curtains over her window. Hands parted them, then slid open the doors of her balcony. The night air fluttered in and she let out a soft sigh, enjoying its scent; she gave him a playful smile before leaping from the balcony to the grass below.

She landed effortlessly, and when he joined her, she walked silently across the lawn until they stood a good distance away from the house; she swept her arm out toward the mansion. "The main building is three floors and consists of Annika's office, and rooms to those who choose to remain housed here at the mansion, rather than out on their own. You know the guest house, the two story building there to the right. On the left is the adjoining library, dining hall, kitchen, and studies. Behind the wall there, is the training yard."

It was a close, intimate moment, and he didn’t want it to end, but he knew that it had to. There would be many more, but there was business to attend to. As she got up, he followed, moving to the window as he heard her chuckle. The curtains were quickly parted, and the balcony doors opened. He watched her fluid movements, as she stepped forward before jumping off the edge. He moved forward to see her land.

He chuckled as he watched her stand, and he took a few steps back before running forward, jumping and leaping off, using the balcony edge. He flipped twice before landing on his feet, hunched over to absorb the shock. Slowly he stood, and he smiled to her, moving to be at her side. Slowly, he followed her around the mansion, taking in the sights fully for once, Eyes scanned everything, the memory of his scouting lessons coming forward.

Alirei had to keep herself from chuckling as he made a show of dismounting from the balcony that led to her private rooms. She walked him around the grounds, before she came to stand just in front of the gate that led to the training grounds; she may not hate him like she had the day before - how could she after the knowledge she'd received - but that didn't mean the spit fire in her, that often led to a competitive nature especially against vampires, was subdued. "What do you say, Zalera? Want to spar?" She grinned, almost as if the idea brought her joy, fangs glinting slightly in the dim light just overhead; she lifted a hand to tuck a loose bunch of hair behind her pointed ear.
