Moving in stealth was natural to him, but this was a run, not a stealth practice, and he did little to hide his sound, as light as his step was. Leaves cracked under his step for half of a minute before he took to the air, launching himself from tree to tree with heavy jumps. The forest was thick but not enough to stop his pathing, heading out from the estate although he circled it slightly. He could feel her following, her mind ever present with his even as he stopped her from tracking him with it. She was good, keeping pace even though he was nearly a spectre in the forest. And that’s when it hit him.
It was hard, fast, and vivid, the image thrown into her mind and half-held there, her body pressed against a tree, her back against his chest as he held her, taking her from behind. Distractions, as he went around, stroking her shoulder before darting off in another direction.
