Lund leans back once more his shirt hanging loose as he fidgets slightly. His brother turns back to him sneering slightly. "Im going to have to ask you to turn your sword over brother." Lund shakes his head softly as he stands slowly. "Its not going to happen Jak. You know I wont do that unless Im dead."

The soldiers kick into the room Kiana and LUnd shared finding the clothing from last night from Kiana. They grab the old dress moving to the balcony to show it to Jak. He nods turning back. "Where is the girl? We know you were travelling with two of them." Lund smirks softly. "We have been travelling with Nessa who is Angus wife."

The soldiers resume there search the last room left belong to Angus. They kick the door in swords at ready. "All of you outside now."

"Easy now lads," Angus tells them, hand in the air, not seeing it smart to put the girls in danger with a fight, especially with Lund's family. "No enemy's here, just a friend of your Lund and some unarmed women." Angus motions to the girls, "We are not about to deny you... though a gentleman would say please to a lady. Especially ones in my family."

Kiana clutched to Nessa's arm, who acted the protective older sister as they exited the room, Angus protectively walking with them as they followed the guards orders.

Lund grits his teeth as he stands unsnapping his sword his anger starting to boil over. "This is no way to treat your brother Jak or his friends." Jake stands his own hand dropping to his sword as he leans forward. "Whether or not you stay my brother is yet to be decided Lund." He smirks as he steps back downing the last of his wine.

Lund glances up as the soldiers start to escort them down. His brow furrows slightly as he sees Nessa hugging Kiana protectively. "We will come with you quietly Jak. You dont need this show of force."

Angus, put his hands on his hips, "I was trying to tell these two the same thing." He was attempting to keep the mood light even in the face of pending danger from what he would have thought the most unlikely of sources. "They were quite rude. To me I could understand. I'm not exactly the beauty," he patted his eyes like some mock of a fine lady, "but being rude to my wife is another thing." No one yet had made and kind of attempt to explain who Kiana was.

Lund gently reaches to unbelt his horse. "Look Jak well go with you." Jake motions for him to stand still as he moves towards Kiana and Nessa. Jak smiles as he motions for the soldiers to watch his brother and Angus. "Which one is your wife brave sir?" Once give the answer he turns to Kiana lifting her head with his finger under her chin.

Lunds fist ball up as he starts to take slow steps to get around the table. HIs eyes would be burning holes in his brothers back if they could. Jak searches Kiana's face smiling almost sedcutively. "And who dear lady are you?"

Kiana did not like the way that Jak was looking at her. Neither did Angus who had to fight his own urge's to go remove his hand from Kiana himself. But he held it back, hoping Kiana could hold her own now, though worried for her after the trauma she had gone through.

"Kiana," she answered meekly as Nessa tightened her grip on her, "I'm her sister," she said as she returned the grip.

"Funny how a man like me goes from living alone to a wife and a sister so quickly," Angus said light hearted from across the way, still trying to soften this horrible tenseness in the air. "I never would have pegged myself for the family type but it's been pretty fair to me so far."

Jak smiles as he idly runs his fingers under Kiana's chin after hearing her name. "A very beautiful name. I hope my ruffian brother hasnt been to harsh on you. Im afraid he fought most of his upbringing as a gentleman. Would you like to join me for abit to eat?" He offers his arm to her smiling softly still.

Lund pauses glancing at Angus then back at Nessa and Kiana. His eyes are wide as he cant quiet believe what is going on. He glances towards Angus curious for an explanation as Kiana is openly flirted with by his brother. Before he can say anything Jak turns to him. "Go pack your things brother. We leave after breakfast."

Angus just gives him a shrug and turns to Kiana again, hoping she you handle herself well enough for the time being.

"Your brother has been a perfect gentleman. And a hero. Both he and Angus are heros. They have done so much for my sister and me." Kiana told him, her confidence seeming to return to her as she let her hold on Nessa loosen a bit. She knew now that she had to speak on Lund's behave to his brother and she only hoped she could lie enough to make him not only believe her, but turn to their side of this situation. Nessa did not want to let her go, but Kiana pulled away and accepted Jak's arm, "Thank you," she told him before continuing to speak in Lund's favor, "Angus had no choice to be a hero to us. He did marry my sister after all. Lund helped us out of the kindness of his heart. He did not have to, but he did."

Lund hesitates glancing at Angus motioning to see if he will follow before heading up the stairs. He pauses just out of sight to listen to the conversation. His teeth grinding together harshly as he listens wanting to run back down to Kiana.

Jak smiles as he leads Kiana to the table pulling the chair out for her. "Your making my brother sound much more noble then he is." He glances towards Angus and Nessa. "If you intend on accompaning my brother you had better pack as well." He sits down next to Kiana his fingers brushing against her cheek as he resumes their conversation. "How is it my brother hasnt snatched you up yet? He is very close to having me take you from him."

Nessa and Angus reluctantly leave Jak alone with Kiana though they both intend to pack their few things quickly to return to Kiana's aid should she need it. Passing Lund on their way, Angus motions that they will get his things so that he could remain right where he was.

Kiana gave her brother a smile, and continued to speak on Lund's behalf to him, "That would need to be something you would have to ask your brother. I can't explain why anyone does what they do except for myself." She seems a bit uneasy having him making such bold actions as stroking her face, but let him do it, not wanting to seem completely insulted by his actions.

Lund nods to Angus giving him a thankful smile. His body stays tense as he stands at the top of the stairs listening to the conversation. His fingers tighten hearing his brother talk of stealing Kiana away.

Jak smiles as he seems to be getting closer to her on the seat. He brings his hand down to her hand lifting it as he kisses the back of it. "Perhaps I can offer you the honor of riding back on my horse with me? Im sure we can find plenty of things to discuss. Things other then my brother." He leans in being bolder then before as he presses his lips to hers softly.

Kiana gasped, shocked really that his brother would be THAT bold. No sooner did his lips come to hers, she pulled away, rising from the table and taking a step back. Her body shivered a little, frightened of such contact with a man like that. After what she had been through, her mind jumped to where a kiss like that could lead and truly it frightened her. "I'm sorry but I... I would rather travel with my sister and Angus," her voice meek and shaky.

Lund frowns as he continues to listen curious as he hears the chair scrape back on the floor. He risk a peek down seeing Kiana stepping back. He catches the sound of her voice worry starting to burn through his anger as he leans back out of sight.

Jak smiles as he stands moving to brush a stray strand of her hair back across her cheek. "Im sure we can find something interesting on our ride. You cant be content to live with your sister and her husband can you?" He steps towards her wrapping his arm around her waist. His fingers rubbing her lower back. His every move seeming to be working toward seducing her as he holds her close his fingers working on relaxing her.

"Please let me go..." she meekly whispered, feeling more and more frightened with every passing moment, her body only growing more tense as he tried to relax her. "I... I don't..." he was getting to close to her comfort but she seemed to be frozen at the same time.

Meanwhile, Nessa and Angus were starting to descend the steps, trying to make their return known as the were nosily coming down the steps. Only the sound of their imminent interruption seemed to ease Kiana slightly.

Jak smiles at her as he hears her friends start to come down the stairs. He presses his lips to hers once more briefly. "Ill give you time to decide but if you do wish to continue this Ill be close by." He smiles as he releases her turning to head outside to gather his soldiers up and ready them for the ride back.

Lund rushes down the stairs once his brother is gone. He quicky picks up Kiana hugging her close. "Are you alright Kiana?" He touches her cheek studying her face as he looks into her eyes quietly.

Kiana knew they should not embrace like this, not when his brother could come back in at any moment, but she needed Lund then to calm her frazzled nerves. Her arms held onto him tight. She ends up nodding her head a little, but when she opens her lips, "I don't know. I think so. I was... I was frightened. I didn't know what to do. I still don't know. I felt... he made me think off..." she trailed off a little as Nessa came in and took her friend from Lund's hands to embrace her as well. After a moment of the girls holding each other, Kiana pulled back and looked at Lund, "What should I do? Your brother has asked me to ride with him? Should I... should I say yes? Would it help the situation if I did?"

Lund allows himself a soft smile as she returns the embrace. He looks into her eyes listening to her words as he thinks it over slowly. "I..I dont know if it would help or not. Did he try anything with you. My brother has a reputation around here Kiana." He blinks as she turns to hug Nessa. He gives them a few moments before pulling her back kissing her softly.

She only kissed him a moment before she pulled back, still feeling effected emotionally by what Jak had done. "He kissed me... twice. I think... I think he was trying to suggest things. Asked if I could be content to live with my sister and her husband- I mean Nessa and Angus." She had not foreseen this kind of string of events happening to them. "Would it help if... if I..." she trailed of, wondering if she should even think about suggesting she do whatever his brother liked of her to make things easier for Lund.

Lund swallows softly as he listens to her words. He moves to her gently stroking her cheek. "If you want to ride with him and see if you can convince him then you can. I trust you not to let it go to far darling." He presses his lips to hers softly once more.

From outside Jak begins yelling for them to come outside and get going. Lund smiles as he presses his lips to her cheek whispering. "I love you Kiana."

Kiana was suddenly torn even more. Lund didn't seem to think his brother would attempt anything if she gave him chance to. Her fear being he would attempt something and she would be to frightened not to stop it from happening. But... for Lund. To speak in his favor. The last thing she wanted was for him to suffer. If letting his brother... do things. She shut her eyes tight. "I'll ride with-"

"No!" Nessa said as she came over and protectively put her hands around her, "You are not going anywhere near him. He has no good intentions in his eyes when he looks at you. You are riding with us. I am your sister and I will not having you anywhere near him. That is final." Nessa started to pull her away, not letting her leave her side as they headed towards the cart, "Who does he think he is..." Nessa muttered under her breath.

Angus shook his head, "Nessa takes to mothering well..." he commented to Lund as the followed the women out.

Lund seems to jump slightly at Nessa's sudden proclamation. He allows himself a gentle smile as he brushes his fingers against Kiana's. He shoulders his small pack as they move outside towards the cart. He tosses his pack in the back before slipping on to his horse patting its neck softly as it dances in the courtyard anxiously. Lund nods his head to Angus as he whispers to him. "She definitely does take to it."

Jak smiles as he moves over to Kiana as she gets into the wagon. "Are you sure you wont ride with me fair maiden." He smiles at her softly as he winks to her.

Kiana, helped a bit by Nessa's confident is able to give him a far more confident look now then he had before, "I do not wish to leave my sister to drive the cart on her own. I am perfectly fine here. Thank you, but no," she tells him before moving to sit in the front of the cart beside Nessa, Angus's wife giving him a bit of a smug smile as she takes up the reigns of the horses into her ready hands.

Lund supresses his own smile and laughter as he lets his horse dance around in a circle watching his brother being rejected. "Dont worry Jak Im sure the manors servant girls will be glad to see you ride back in tonight."

Jak turns glaring at his brother before he kicks his horse making it rear up before he and his men charge out of the courtyard making for the manor. Lund swallows as he waits for his brother to be well out of sight before moving up beside Kiana giving her a pleasant smile. "Very nice my dear.""

Kiana smiled slightly, feeling a bit confident in herself, though she never could have done it without Nessa there to support her by her side. She nodded her head to Lund, "Thank you."

Nessa whipped the horses into motion, Angus staying close by the cart as they set off. The pace was a bit much, but they had to follow whatever pace Jak set for them. They would have been there in two days on their own, but at this rate nightfall would bring with it the end of their long and trying travels.

Lund smiles at her as he watches his brother quickly outpacing them. He glances at Kiana giving her a playful smile as he leans in towards her. "I'll bet you a kiss that I can catch my brother and make it back to you before he can catch me." he smiles as he drops his cloak and sword in the back of the cart. He nudges his horse hard as it takes off with a fury.
