Angus orders the soldiers out of the room to try and preserve some of Kiana's decency as he leans in wishing to talk quieter now. "Why were you with Jak Kiana? Did you willingly go to him like the note said?" He turns to look at the door making sure his voice isn't loud enough to carry to the soldiers awaiting his commands just outside.

Her hands started to shake again thought this time she was just wrapping the bandage. The shaking spread up into her arms and to her shoulders even. "I... I did it for Lund. Jak gave his written word that if I followed his direction tonight he would spare Lund's life tomorrow if it came to it. I didn't want Lund to get hurt..." she looked at how her hands her covered in her husband's blood, "What had I done?"

Angus sighs softly shaking his head. "The boy was skilled he wouldn't have had a problem tomorrow Kiana. This must stay between us. If he finds out it would kill him." He pats her arm softly as he adjust Lunds body to let her have better acess to wrap the bandage around elthe wound. "Lets get him bandaged then you both need rest."

"Angus he was hurt. You see how it hindered him tonight. I was afraid to loose him to such an injury tomorrow! I didn't know what else to do!" she whispered to him in a panicked rush, her whole body shaking now to the point of being unable to hold the bandage in her hand to continue wrapping him. It was making her freak out that the very thing that she did to save him could kill him instead.

Angus grabs her hands holding he wrist firmly. "Calm down Kiana. He needs you calm and steady right now." He gently releases her hands squeezing them softly as he moves to hold Lund straight so she can bandage him up. "You two will get through this together. Both of you are strong. "

She didn't think she was strong at all. She had been weak and gave into the temptation of the easy way out of this. The easy way to save Lund's life but that easy way was turning out to be hard after all. Kiana raised her gaze to his but for once could not get herself to still. "You have to wrap it. I can't.... I can't calm down this time. I.. I can't."

Angus nods as he takes the bandage wrapping it around the wounds. "Get dressed Kiana. I'll be asking the guards back in to help us carry Lund. You should be decent before they come in." He gently finishes the bandage making sure she has a few moments to dress before he calls the guards in. They gently lift Lund on to a small stretcher carrying him back toward their rooms.

She just barely put the clothing onto herself, it really more draping off her body as she followed behind the guards back to her rooms. Her hands bloody as well as her face still blood from the spit that Jak had shot into her face in a rage earlier. When they got them both back to the rooms, Lund was placed into the bed and Kiana just stood there, unsure of what more she could do for him. 'Havn't you already done enough' was the firs thought to go crossing her mind.

Angus ensures the guards lay Lund down carefully. He turns to face Kiana watching her for a moment. "Give me a few moments Kiana and I can have Nessa to help you with anything you need." He glances back to Lund sighing. "I would stay but I have to report this to Lunds father before he hears of it through gossip."

Kiana seemed like a pale ghost as she just nodded a little in reply to Angus thought it was unclear if she really heard him or not. Nessa though hear him as she came into the room as if on perfect cue. "You go," she told her husband as she came to Kiana's side and took her gently, directing her to sit as she ordered the maids about to prepare a bath as well as to take Sarah to tend her in another room. This was not the place for a baby at the moment. The whole time, Kiana's gaze was just fixed forward.

Angus smiles as his wife enters kissing her cheek briefly. "I'll return as soon as I know something." he exits the room heading for Lunds fathers room to tell him of the events of the last few hours. Lund lays still on the bed his eyes still closed the only sign of life from him being the slow rise and fall of his chest.

Kiana seems in a shock as Nessa hustles and bustles around her. She has the bath water prepared to just the right temperature and lay out a night dress for her, something soft and cool. Once everything was set, she dismissed the maids from their task though asked one to sit beside Lund while she took Kiana into wash her up. Nessa took good care of her lady as she helped her into the water and to wash herself, not a word being uttered from the still seemingly shocked Kiana. "It'll be alright dear," Nessa told her as she wiped the blood form her face with a wet cloth.

Angus hesitates outside the door to Lunds parents room before knocking heavily. He takes a step back to allow himself room to bow when the door opens. He swallows softly as waits glancing up and down the hallway. Lund continues to sleep hovering on the edge as the maid watches over him. He doesn't even react to the movement in the room as Nessa takes charge. Only once during the time does he move and it is only to groan in pain and whisper Kiana's name.

Angus is greeted at the lord of the household. He looked rather serious at Angus and just says, "Report...?"

----
Nessa chatters a bit as she cleans up Kiana and gets her out of the tub, drying her off and helping her into the night dress. As they come back to the main room, Nessa dismissed the maid, telling her to go see to the children for the time being. As she tries to help Kiana into the bed, Kiana finally has a moment of clarity it seemed as she shook her head, "No... I will sit up beside him." Nessa did not argue with her as she helped Kiana pull up a chair beside Lund and reached out to hold his hand.

Angus bows before Lunds father before beginning. "Your son Jak is dead. He was caught with Kiana forcing himself on her. Lund jumped in to protect his wife and was injured badly. During the struggle Jak was stabbed with a knife by Lund. I'm afraid that Lund has lost slot of blood and is teetering on the edge a we speak. After Kiana sewed him up I had them move him to his bedroom where he could be more comfortable."

---
Lunds hand has very little warmth in it as Kiana takes his hand. His chest continues to rise and fall slowly. He once more let's out a pained breathe whispering Kiana's name before falling silent once more.

This father took in all he was saying. The sound of their mother could be heard lightly weeping from within the room but it was just a private grieving of a mother for her son, not matter how bad a seed he was. "I see..." the lord reached into a pocket and handed Angus the note that Jak had handed him. "Jak gave this to me tonight. As far as I am considered, whatever it says is now worthless. Get rid of it."

----
Kiana squeezed his hand and bent over to rest her head against his chest, "I'm right here Lund. I'm right by your side." Though she had to wonder if he'd want here there if he knew what she had done. Jak had been right... she was a whore. She had been ever since the mountains, the memory of them now returning to haunt her, along with the words of her captures. Everything was crushing down on her and she felt as if she'd break from the weight of her conscience on her,

Angus nods softly as he takes the note. "I will post an extra guard to bring any news of Lund to you." He slips the note into his pocket as he bows slightly once more. "I am sorry for your loss my lord." His drop slightly as he turns away starting to turn heading back for Lunds room wanting to check on his friend once more.

----
Lund continues breath slowly as a part of himself feels her head resting against his chest. His heart beats slowly under her ear as he continued to sleep.

Kiana squeezed his hand tight, just to remind him that she was there with him. Her ear pressed against him to make sure that whenever it seemed like it might slow at all, even just a hair, she would whisper to him to remind him he was not alone. She was not going to leave him as long as he did not leave her.

Lund staysin the bed barely moving for almost a week before his eyes start to flutter open slowly. He coughs softly as he let's out a pained groan his arm starting to move slowly. He swallows his throat dry as he starts to sit up slowly glancing around the room for a moment his body aching badly. "Kiana?"

Kiana had barely ate or slept the entire week. Just enough to feed Sarah the milk she needed. It was the guilt that was eating at her from the inside. Lund had been so still and so pale all this time. It was taking to long for him to wake and she was getting terribly worried as each day passed by. "Lund?" she said as she heard him speak meekly. She quickly raced to his side and took his hand in hers, "Lund I'm here. I'm right here."

Lund winces as he touches his shoulder slowly. "Did you catch the name of that horse that ran me over?" He squeezes her hand softly as he lays his head back still feeling weak. "What happened Kiana and where am I?" he moves to try and sit up once more glancing around for a glass of water his throat aching from being dry.

She is quick to pour him a glass from the pitcher kept right next to the bed waiting for him. Handing it to him, "Careful. Don't move about to much. Your wounds are still very tender." Once he had the glass in his hands, she sighed a little. "You're in bed where you have been all week since... since you fought with Jak."

Lund takes the glass of water quickly emptying it, spilling some of it down his chin. He sets the glass down on the bed his hands trembling slightly. "A week. It doesn't feel like I've been out that long." He gently pushes himself to the edge of the bed his skin still pale. "I need to go see father and mother. They will want to talk to me after what happened?" He turns to Kiana touching her cheek. "I couldn't stand by while he raped you darling."

She flinched a little at his reminded of his heroic job that had almost gotten him kill because of her. Placing her hand over his own on her cheek, she sighed and put a hand to keep him in place, "No, you will stay in bed here. I will send for them and they will come to you. Angus I am sure will want to see you as well. And Lily of course. Everyone has been worried about you." Kiana got up and went to the door, informing the nearest maid to go for Lund's parents at once.

Lund nods softly as he lays back on the bed. He closes his eyes for a moment as he swallows. His eyes open as he follows her with his eyes to the door. "Are you sure you couldnt let me up darling. Ive been here in this bed to long it seems like." He refills glass slowly as he watches her from the corner of his eye coughing softly. "Where is Sarah?" His voice is suddenly abit panicked as he ask his question looking around quickly for there daughter.
