Roxanne nodded, it seemed he it didn't really matter to him what order and he was leaving it up to her which she actually chose to read or listen to. Roxanne opened her text messaging app and scanned over the at least two dozen texts, most of them demanding her to come home and telling her she was lucky to be breathing when he was done with her. It was exactly what she was expecting and she was more interested in the voice mails. She went back to the home screen and went to her voice mail app, tapping on the first one to play it, before allowing it to play she put it on speaker so Tim could hear too.
The first one had been him putting on the act of being a loving and concerned Father. "Hey Baby Girl, your Mother and I got home a few hours ago and we see you aren't here. We figured you might have gone to stay with one of your friend's for the night. We'll see you in the morning. I love you." Her Father said in the first one. While it didn't make her tense up any more it made her feel sick to her stomach at the way her Father tried to act as a caring parent.
Soon the second one started to play and he sounded much more angry in this one. "I see you still have your phone off. I went to look around the house last night and noticed all your shits gone and so is that car I gave you. Listen here, bitch. I know that asshole Tim and his worthless parents are hiding you somewhere and I will find you. When I do I'll bring you home, where you belong but not before I kill all three of them and I'll let you watch as I do it. Then, when I get you home I'll make sure you know what abuse is. Tell that boyfriend of yours and his family they better watch their backs because you don't fuck with me and get away with it." At the end of this message Roxanne looked a cross between scared and upset and looked like she was about to cry. Her muscles were nothing but tension, too. She picked the phone up and tossed it onto the floor before looking at Tim. "Babe... I refuse to let him hurt you or Mom and Dad." She managed to say.
