The Untamed ( Katy1008 & CrimsonMaster )

Ten Bears heart was pounding like the drums sounding out a call to war. His cock was pushing deeply into Katie's pussy like it was a spear sinking into an animals flesh. Ten Bears grunted as Katie's pussy muscles clenched around his stabbing dick. He held Katie close, the heat of their bodies was growing like their orgasms. Following Katie's pleasure filled scream was a hot rush of wetness which flooded her cunt. Ten Bears let out his own deep groan as his trusting cock sprayed Katie's inner walls with his cream.

Their cum was mixing together inside of Katie's pussy as Ten Bears held Katie like a lover would. He then moved his head slightly placing a kiss upon her lips. Ten Bears wanted Katie to go away from this with pleasant memories, even thought parts were a bit rough, Katie wasn't hurt from her experience with the Mojaves. The four braves left leaving Ten Bears alone with Katie, but they were soon joined but Sisika who brought Katie her clothes.

Katie eased herself up. She couldn't deny that she felt sated but at the same time she couldn't help but feel as if she should have fought more against the assaul of the braves. It might be that the town is actually better served but she knew if she was honest that her participation here was not in any way motivated by serving the town.

She got dressed quickly and in silence, aware that both Ten Bears and Saiska were watching her. Right now however she wanted to go home, have a bath; she could still feel the cum dripping out of her. Only when she was finished did she turn and look at them, Ten Bears still lying casually on the floor.

"I take it I can leave now? I want my pistol back... And my horse."

Ten Bears & Sisika had watched Katie getting dressed. There was something alluring about Katie. She had the most beautiful features that could easily trap any man or woman. Had Katie been an evil person she could use this against those who stood in her way. But lucky for those around her, Katie wasn't evil.

Ten Bears opened the flap to the teepee announcing that Katie was indeed free. He said that her horse which had been feed was already waiting for her and her gun belt was on the saddle. The men & women of the tribe bowed to Katie as she came out. Sisika said that Katie was now like one of their great spirits. She had truly become the Pallaton Thinya'aak......the Warrior Woman.

Sisika removed a necklace from around her neck then placed it around Katie's It was beautifully colored with a large medallion hanging along with multi colored beads. On the medallion was the symbol of the Mojave tribe, which was the Joshua tree. Sisika then gave Katie a gently kiss upon her lips, she stepped back as Ten Bears placed his right hand onto Katie's shoulder. " From this point on........you are Kola to the Mojave people. " Ten Bears spoke in a bold, loud voice. The word Kola was their name for friend.

As the flap to the teepee was opened, Katie hesitated for a moment and then stepped through into the late afternoon light outside. She was somewhat overwhelmed by the reaction of those outside and by the name she was given. She wasn't entirely sure how she was supposed to react but before she could really do anything, Saiska was stepping forward whilst undoing the beautiful necklace around her neck. She waited as Saiska reached around and secured it in place. She was slightly surprised by the kiss, but she kissed her back softly.

She nodded in gratitude to Ten Bears as he pronounced her a friend of the Mojave and then smiled a little.

"I'm... honoured... and as long as it is in my power, your people will be free to come and go into town as you need. Any of the services available there will be available to you on the same terms."

With that, she turned and headed towards her horse. She secured her gun belt and then stepped up into the saddle, and then after turning and giving one final wave to Ten Bears and the tribes' people who were stood around him. It took her about 45 minutes to make it back to town at a reasonably leisurely pace. As she rode, her mind drifted back to her dinner arrangements. Perhaps in the circumstances she should try and rearrange? But then perhaps that wouldnt appear very gracious. It was dinner... some dancing... a public duty.

When she reached town and left her horse at the livery, she called in at the jailhouse and made sure everything was ok. Colorado told her that everything was fine. They had a brief conversation over coffee about the mine and about the dance tonight. Colorado was already aware that Raf was taking Katie after he had taken her to dinner and it seemed to amuse him mildly. She shook her head a little and just smiled back at him, letting him have his fun but denying that this was anything other than business. When she finished her drink, she headed back to her rooms for a bath and clean clothes. Raf might have said that he didn't want her to make any effort or put on any fancy dresses, but clean clothes was definitely a must. By 7.00pm she stepped down the stairs and headed into the restaurant. They hadnt agreed a time, but this was not an unusual time for dinner and if Raf wasn't there yet, she didn't mind waiting.

Ten Bears & his people bid Katie goodbye as she rode off towards town. They finally felt that after years of being treated so badly by the Crenshaw's who ruled over Victorville with an iron fist, that there was now someone in town the Mojave's could trust. These thought were wishful thinking since Raf Hollister had his own plans for dealing with the local Indians.

Raf wasn't a man who liked to be kept waiting, but for Katie he was more then willing to wait. He would wait because Raf wanted Katie & her money. Even as Raf sat in the restaurant of the hotel where Katie was living his mind was going over his plans. He would use this dance to get closer to Katie then afterwards Raf planned on bedding Katie. Sure it would seem like Raf was moving fast, but he knew that Katie wanted a powerful man who could control her, and powerful men didn't pass up chances. Powerful men took those chances when they came up and Raf would take Katie after the dance was over.

Raf rose up to his feet when Katie came into the restaurant. A broad smile drawing over his face as he welcomed Katie." Hello Marshal.......you look so beautiful. " Raf said then he took Katie's hand raising it to his mouth where he kissed it. He then lead Katie to their table where Raf pulled her chair out and once Katie was sitting down, he pushed her chair under her. " Order whatever you wish........it's my treat for someone who works so hard to keep Victorville so safe. " Raf said as he picked up a bottle of wine then poured some into a glass for Katie before pouring his own. " A toast. " Raf said as his glass was raised into the air. " To the prettiest law officer in the world. " Raf added with his most charming smile on his face. He was looking deep into Katie's eye where he could see her emotions playing out before him.

Katie saw Raf stand up, saw the brilliant smile practically light up the room. Dressed in dark brown soft buckskin pants, brown boots and a cream shirt, she walked over to where he was standing. She wasnt officially working, so she left her gunbelt in her room. She carried her jacket - matching the pants - in her hand. The restaurant was practically empty; mostly visitors, tradesmen passing through, a couple of the older single men in the town who were unmarried or widowers and who couldnt be bothered to cook a good meal for themselves in an empty house. Her lilac scented perfume lingered in her wake but no-one really took any notice beyond a glance as she walked across the restaurant.

She nodded at Raf's welcome and didn't fight him when he lifted her hand and kissed it. His hand was big, an aged roughness to it - something which was being tempered and softened now he was spending most of his time in an office or behind a desk rather than breaking horses. She let him guide her to her chair, seat her, and then she watched as he set himself down opposite her. She couldnt help but laugh a little at the comment about her working so hard to keep the town safe.

"It's my job Mr. Hollister... and its my town too - so its in my interests to make sure that it stays safe."

She watched as he poured the wine and then stared at her. She felt like he was looking into her soul. She stared back at him for a moment, transfixed again, just as she had earlier in the day when she had seen him across the street. No-one could deny that Raf Hollister was a good looking man. But there was something else... not just his charm. If anything his charm was a little off-putting; it was smarm and not that attractive. She couldnt believe that he was someone who would need to resort to something like that either. So she couldn't help wondering why he did. But there was something else there that distracted her from thinking that through. Something compelling. She blushed a little at the compliment and raised her glass a touch in thanks.

"Thank you Mr Hollister but Im guessing that's a very small group of women so... it might not be that much of a compliment. But i appreciate the sentiment."

Raf was dressed in the finest of clothes. His pants were black, shirt white with a light grey vest. Raf also had Wool Davenport Frock Coat, charcoal colored with black velvet trim. Around his neck was a black satin puff tie which was held in place by a diamond tie tack. The items that Katie hadn't seen yet was his deluxe John Bull Top Hat which was black and his Governor Cane walking stick. This was more then just another cane, the handle was solid brass and it could be pulled apart to reveal a hidden sword.

The waiter had come over taking their order then left. Raf smiled as he & Katie talked about the town. He then told Katie how much he wanted to go into business with her. Raf explained that the new rail system which would run from Los Angeles to Barstow and beyond would pass right by Victorville. Raf said that if Katie would become his business partner that they could hire some works who could help get that job done quicker.

Raf said the railroad was behind on getting this job done. He also said that if they could hire 100 more men to start building the rest of the track. Those men would hook up with the railroad men in less then a month, opening the track ahead of schedule. What Raf didn't tell Katie was that he owned most of the railroad that was buildings this new line. This was just part of his plan to control Katie & her money.

Raf continued by saying that the railroad would make this town grow faster then it could without it. He took a hold of Katie's hand, his grip was strong but gentle. " With $100,000 dollars from you we can get things started........I'll also add $100,000 dollars.....then we can hire the men needed. " Raf said then he waited for Katie's thoughts to be spoken.

It wasn't that Raf didn't look good in all of his finery. He did, despite the fact that it gave him the air of a peacock, strutting around in his satin and his velvet, and Katie could well understand why most of the single woman - and perhaps a few of the married ones - were fawning all over him. His charm wasnt the only honey on display. But Katie was sure he would look better still in his boots and denims and his cowboy hat. She couldn't help but wonder when the last time was that he did a hard days work. But then maybe it was his right now; he'd made his fortune so why should he keep fixing fences and digging holes.

She listened politely to his explanation of the expansion of the railroad. Katie knew that the railroad was going to make or break lots of towns just like Victorville; the closer the railroad to the town, the more money was likely to come into the town. Sure, Victorville wasn't set to be a stop on the line, but Barstow wasnt that far away. They would still get some of the benefits. She smiled a little as he took her hand and then she laughed out loud.

"$100,000?! That's... erm... that's a whole of money. I'm not even sure... $100,000. Its...em... its not that I disagree with what you're saying about the development of the railroad, but...erm... I dont really know you an even if I could liquidate that much money, Im not entirely comfortable in just handing it over to ... someone I've just met."

Raf may have been dressed in the finest clothes, but he was no stranger to hard work. This Katie would see in time, then maybe her mind would be open a little more. Raf found what Katie said about the amount of money to be a little odd. It was well known around town that Katie's gold mine was pumping out tons of gold, so much in fact that coming up with $100,000 dollars wouldn't be that hard. But Raf wouldn't push Katie on this subject any more, he didn't have too since so many people who would be at the dance would do that for him. One of these people was Mayor Harris who was a good honest man, and someone that Katie could trust.

Raf already had Mayor Harris won over about the railroad, and how with Katie's help & added money the job would get done sooner. So Mayor Harris would add his voice to others who would try and talk Katie into joining with Raf on this rail project. " I can understand your concerns Marshal.....I just thought that it would look better if the two wealthiest citizens in Victorville joined together in ushering in the new era. " Raf said as the waiter brought over the food placing it on the table. Raf reached out grabbing his glass of water then took a drink. This was a signal to another man who was sitting nearby to deliver a message. the man finished his meal then left heading over to Raf's Saloon where the message was delivered.

Another man soon left the saloon getting on his horse then riding out of town. Raf was going to put on a show for Katie, one that would surely change her mind about him, or at least he hoped that it would.

Katie stared back at him. She was a little surprised that Raf didn't push any further. She had expected much more of a fight from him and the fact that he took her statement and then let the subject drop unsettled her a little. Where was the persuasive charm? She didn't mind that he seemed to drop the subject, but she couldn't help wondering whether she was doing him something of a disservice.

"Thank you for your understanding. But I have to say Mr hollister, I don't believe you need my money or my support. The people of this town have taken to you very quickly and I don't think me joining you in this... Business venture... Would make things look better. You don't need me to make you look good."

Katie didn't see the drink of water as anything but a man wanting to some water and she didn't really notice the man who got up a few minutes later.

Raf had expected that Katie couldn't see the bigger picture. She was new to the business world and how it worked, hopefully she would understand. Raf started to eat while he explained how many people see those like them and by those he meant people with money. It was true that most of the town had taken to Raf very quickly and that was to be expected since he was bring more money into Victorville. Raf admitted that he could do the job without Katie, but the deal that he was offering to Katie was all about image.

Sure everyone thought that Katie was doing a great job as Town Marshal, but people have short memories. Katie had the finest saloon with the prettiest girls, her places was better then most even in the larger towns. Katie's girls were all clean, they had regular check ups with the doctor just to make sure they stayed in good health. Katie's mine was pumping out gold by the ton, and she was making more money each day. The shops & stores in town were doing better then they ever had before with all this new money. Yet people still tend to forget and thoughts turn to what have you done for us lately.

Raf poured Katie some more wine while he continued to speak. He said that by having her join with him on this project she was investing in the town, which in the long run keeps her image in a good light. Raf also said that as the town grows more things need to be added. Schools, hospital, more streets, more businesses. All of this takes money.....money from people like them who have it. Raf then said that Katie would not only be investing in the town, but the future. The future of this town and everyone who lives in it, this was also an investment for her children's future when she had some that is.

Raf told Katie that with the two of them working together on this project the people of Victorville would this and have a positive image. They would see both of the town's wealthiest citizens working together to make Victorville a better place. He was giving Katie the chance to join in and keep the town growing since people would start thinking that perhaps it was only Raf that wanted this and not Katie.

Katie listened politely as she ate her beef and potatoes and sipped occasionally at her wine. As he outline her position and how the residents' views might change over time, it made some sense. She had seen it before and hadn't the people who had lived in the town before Victor Crenshaw had arrived and renamed the place once thought very well of him. Just for a moment, images of Victor and Jack and Jimmy flashed through her mind... Perhaps the image of Jack lingered a little longer until she pushed it forcibly away by trying to refocus on what Raf was saying.

He was right about the services too. The town had two doctors now but they were both overworked. They had one small school that had already been extended twice. But it wasn't Katie's job to bank roll the development of the town into a City. She smiled politely and nodded in the right places and sipped at her constantly refilled wine glass. When he suggested though that the town might not think that she wanted the town to grow, the smile drifted away. Part of her wanted to shout out that she didn't give a damn; if that was how they felt they could go to hell. But she didn't. She wasn't entirely sure how Raf might deal with a childish temper tantrum. Instead, she took a breath and another drink of wine.

"Well perhaps it s something I should consider, but it is certainly not a decision that I will make tonight. I'm sure you can understand that."

The men who had left Raf's saloon reached the place that he was going. It was a dry wash about five miles outside of town where two men were sitting near a camp fire. Raf's man stepped from his horse then walked up to the two sitting on the ground. " Raf wants you two to crash the dance.......make it look like a holdup........get rough with some of the people.......but remember that Raf will stop you.......then you two get out of town.......fast. " After Raf's orders had been delivered the man left leaving the other two behind to pack up their camp.

Raf smiled at Katie when she said that his offer was something that she should consider and not one she could make tonight. " Of course Marshal.......I wouldn't want to push you into anything that you don't want to do. " Raf said as he picked up his glass of wine then after taking a quick drink he set the glass back down. " After all......I want us to have a good working relationship. " While Raf was speaking to Katie, his mind was already working on new ways that he would use & humiliate her without Katie knowing that he was behind it.

The waiter brought over the check and Raf paid it leaving a generous tip for the waiter and the kitchen staff. " I believe it's time that we should head over to the dance........I'm sure it's started by now. " Raf said as he rose up then helped Katie up from her seat. The waiter brought over Raf's hat & walking stick then he offered his arm to Katie.

Katie smiled as Raf stood up and then held her seat waiting for her to rise. She watched as he left the tip and then took his hat and cane. He might well look like a little bit of a peacock in his finery but still a very fine peacock nonetheless. It was still possible to see the firm musculature and strong body underneath and when she linked her arm around his, she could feel a little of how well built he was. She couldn't deny he felt good. And then she noticed the waiter looking at her, and she blushed a little. He had looked at her as if he was reading her mind.

"I agree. I think a good working relationship would be very good for... For the town." she stressed the word working in n effort to counter any ideas that the waiter might have had at that time.

As the two of them walked out into the cool evening air, they could hear the sound of the band at the dance drifting towards them. The town hall was not that far and it certainly sounded as if things were in full swing. They passed a few residents who were clearly not going to the dance. They seemed to stare at Katie a little more than usual, grinning a little, or giving knowing looks to others they were walking with. Raf simply lifted his hat politely and said good evening as he passed them. Katie wondered whether the townsfolk really would look at her differently if she did team up with Raf. She was aware that there were people in the town that were uncomfortable with her doing what she was. Indeed she knew some men thought she would be better working in the whorehouse rather than owning it and some women who thought she did both. There had always been rumours about what had happened that afternoon when Jack and jimmy and two of their men had gone out to
Katie's place. There had been rumours about that last afternoon when Katie had gone out to the Crenshaw ranch on her own. For the most part it never really bothered Katie but perhaps sooner or later Raf's words would come to pass.

Raf may have looked like a peacock in Katie's eyes with the way he was dressed, but under those fine clothes, Raf was an impressive male. His muscles were strong from the hard work he had done, but even though his work load wasn't as hard, his body didn't go soft. Raf kept himself fit, he lifted weights and ran every morning. He was also impressive in another way. If any one man could match the size of JP's cock it was Raf, and he planned on pleasing Katie with that huge beast between his legs.

Raf proudly walked arm in arm down the street with Katie. They passed people who he would say hello to then move on. All the while Raf kept a smile on his face and his arm locked with Katie's. They soon reached the town hall where Raf opened the door with his free hand. This allowed Katie to enter first while she stayed on his arm.

People inside were already dancing and having a great time. Mayor Harris saw Raf & Katie then came up shaking their hands welcoming them to the first dance the town had. He was happy too see the town's two leading citizens together and Mayor Harris even said that they looked like they were made for each other.

The room was warm and well lit, the oil lamps flickering and creating wild shadows. It was crowded but not overly so, perhaps thrity or forty townsfolk... the great and the good. Shopkeepers, members of the town council and of course the Mayor who headed straight for her and Raf as they took off their coats and placed them on the rack. katie didn't think though that business at the saloon - either her's or Raf's - would be any less busy. Certainly none of the girls were here and there were very few of their regular customers. Perhaps the Mayor had been somewhat tactical in the issuing of his invitations.

She shook hands with the Mayor and almost as soon as the handshake was broken, someone appeared and handed her a glass of punch. Raf got the same. At the suggestion that they were made for each other, Katie smiled a little nervously and looked at Raf, her look almost apologetic for the behaviour of Mayor Harris. He merely smiled back at her but she also felt his free hand come to rest softly in the small of her back. She looked up at him again and smiled softly behind her glass as she took a drink of the punch.

The truth be told, Raf & Katie did make a good looking couple. Raf was handsome & powerfully built while Katie was beautiful and her body was very sexy. Many men who lived in and around Victorville had fantasies which featured Katie. But what man wouldn't have fantasies about about a woman who looked like Katie. Raf's hand rubbed at the small of Katie's back while people came up to them saying hello. Some of the women could be heard saying that Katie had the most perfect beau in town.

Raf's hand soon snaked around Katie's waist as they were invited to sit at Mayor Harris's table. They moved over towards the table, but instead of sitting down Raf asked Katie if she would like to dance? The band started to play a slow song almost as if they had been told to. Raf took Katie's hand into his. " Lets enjoy our evening Katie.......just you & me. "

It had been a very long time since Katie had danced. As a child in a good family, she had been taught some of the common dances and she went to a few balls and town dances when she was courting. But as soon as she was married, they had moved west and dancing hadn't been something which was part of their new life. When Raf asked Katie to dance and took her hand, she was nervous as much because because she wasn't sure if she could remember how as much as she was because most of the great and the good would be watching every step she and Raf took. Tongues would be wagging and the gossip merchants would think all their Christmases had come at once. But she couldn't exactly say no. That would possibly create more fuss. And if she was being honest, she didn't want to say no. The idea of dancing with this man was somewhat appealing. He smiled and nodded and walked the few steps into the middle of the floor. Some of those who were already dancing moved aside a little and smiled.

"I'm not entirely sure you can say that it is just you and I" she said softly as she turned to face him and placed one hand on his shoulder.

For her first dance in years Katie had done a great job. It seemed that the old saying was true.....once you learn....you never forget. Raf & Katie had set the tongues waggling as they seem to light up the dance floor. Their long gazes into each others eyes made people say that love was in the air with these two. It also seemed that the more nervous Katie was, the more people thought she was in love with Raf.

Raf & Katie continued to dance throughout the night. It was during their fourth dance, another slow one when Raf leaned his head down placing a kiss against Katie's lips. His kiss was soft & gentle, he had pulled back looking into her eyes then he kissed her again, but this one had more force behind it. Raf had slipped his tongue into Katie's mouth with his second kiss and she seemed to enjoy it. Raf's strong hands passed down over Katie's back reaching her ass where he grabbed her by both cheeks then squeezed hard pulling her cheeks open.

Just then two men busted into the dance waving pistols around and yelling. " Okay..........no body does anything stupid and everyone goes home alive.......all we want is your money and jewels! " One of the two masked men said as they both started pointing their guns at people who would drop money or jewels into the bags they were holding.

The first kiss took her a little by surprise. She brought her hand off his shoulder and placed it dead centre on his chest. She pushed lightly and at the same time she pulled her head back. She was still smiling; it wasn't that she was annoyed, more embarrassed than anything and more concerned for the propriety of things.

"I dont think..."

Katie didn't get a chance to finish her sentence before he came forward again, despite the placement of her hand. This time he kissed her harder and she felt his tongue moving inside her mouth. For a fraction of a second she pushed a little more, but she didn't really put any effort into it and as she felt his tongue probing, felt his hands moving down to her ass, her mouth began to open to him, just a little. And then there was a sudden noise, screams, shouts, crashing furniture and the kiss was broken. She turned quickly and her hand immediately went to her gun belt; went to where her pistol rested in the holster ready to be smoothly drawn when needed. Except... there was nothing here. No pistol. No holster. She had left it in her room presuming that of course nothing would happen at the dance. Silenty she cursed her own unpreparedness.

She stared intently at what she could see of the two men; masked or not she was going to burn what she could see into her brain so that when the posse caught up with them - the posse that she was going to form as soon as these guys rode out of town - she would be able to identify them. One after another men and women dropped their pocket watches and their rings and necklaces into a bag that was being passed around but Katie kept her gaze on the two men.

One man kept a pistol in his hand moving it around, where ever he looked the gun was pointing. The other man moved around the room holding a gun and the loot bag which was getting fuller. The man with the bag finally came to Raf & Katie. " You wanna dance.......you gotta pay!.........or should I make your woman pay for the dance? " The outlaw said to Raf then looked at Katie. " She's real purity........I'll bet she dances real good in bed......maybe I oughta dance with her right here on the floor. " The outlaw continued while laughing then form out of no where Raf's fist flew smashing the man in the face.

The outlaw sailed acrossed the room from one punch of Raf's fist. The second outlaw took his eyes off of the crowd looking down at his partner who was now laying at his feet. Raf came up punching that man in the face knocking him out the door. The first outlaw struggled to his face only to be met with another powerful punch sending him crashing through a window. The two outlaws jumped on the back's of their horses then lit out of town moving as fast as those horses could go.

Raf reached down picking up the loot bag which the outlaws had dropped when they got their asses kicked. He turned around handing the bag to Katie. " I guess you got to go to work now.........how about joining me for a drink later tonight at my saloon? " Raf asked as he gave Katie a smile. He was sure that Katie would head out after them and he already knew what she would find. By the time Katie got her posse together those two would be dead. Some of Raf's men were already waiting for them, of course those outlaws thought that they would meet with Raf's men to get paid for what they just did. That was not the case, since Raf planned on killing them from the moment he hired them.

Katie tensed as she watched the man's eyes move up and down her body. She opened her mouth to tell the man that hell would freeze over before she ever danced with him anywhere but Raf's fist beat her to it. She watched instead as he flew backwards and then her eyes immediately flashed up to his co-conspirator. If the man had any sense he would have opened fire... in fact Raf should already be joining the first robber on the floor with a bullet in his gut. But no shot had been fired. Instead, the man was staring at this friend and in that time Raf had stepped forward and dispatched a second punch and the room was filled with the sound of breaking glass.

Katie was stood, staring as the men got up and hurredily mounted up and rode off. It was Raf handing her the bag which snapped her out of her apparent daze. She looke at the bag and then back to Raf. Something wasn't right. Why didn't the second man just open fire? Why would Raf risk... Then as he spoke she lost the thought. She took the bag from him. She smiled and nodded.

"You guess correctly. Look... maybe you can make sure that this lot gets back to the rightful owners." She handed the bag back to him and turned away. "Gentlemen. Any volunteers for a posse, meet me at the jail house in 20 minutes, ready to ride hard". She didn't wait around for any confirmation; she knew that from this room there would not be many volunteers but there might be two or three but she knew word would spread. She headed out of the room at a trot and back to her own rooms to pick up her gun. She then ran down to the livery to saddle up her horse and found two other men from the dance doing the same. There were also two men who were regular customers at her saloon. She nodded a 'thank you' and then the four of them made their way to the jailhouse where Colorado and two other men were already waiting. Colorado looked ready to head out with them, but Katie told him he needed to stay. There still needed to be some law in the town just in case. He looked disappointed but he understood. He handed her the Winchester he was holding and then watched as the six 'man' posse kicked their horses almost in unison and charged out of town.

They rode hard for about 30 minutes before coming across what had been a recent camp on the edge of the forest. Katie dismounted carefully and walked over to where the fire had been. She bent down, held her hand out and then slowly took it closely. She was able to pick up some of the ashes but there was still some warmth in them. She looked around in the dark, forcing her eyes to try and pick up something, anything unusual, anything that shouldn't be there. Then she saw something. She stared for a moment or two and then began to slowly make her way to the tree line. She was about 10 feet away when she realized what she was looking at. She looked back at the men who were also just starting to climb down.

"They're here. It seems like someone has decided to take the law into their own hands." The two men were propped up at the base of the tree, each with a bullet through their chest.

"Maybe friends... friends who weren't happy that they came back from town empty handed?"

"I don't know Tom... maybe...."

"Here are their horses."

"Ok... let's get them up and taken back to town for burial."

A hour later, the posse trotted back into town. It had been a far more relaxed ride home than the ride out. The town was quiet. Colorado came out to meet them and he took responsibility for the bodies, saying that he'd carry on with the night watch and Katie should go to bed. Katie didn't need another invitation and after she took her horse back to the livery, she began walking back to the hotel. Then she remembered Raf's last words. She smiled and looked across the street. There was a soft light coming from Raf's saloon. She hadn't as yet actually been in the place. Maybe she should just check it out. She crossed the street and pushed open the saloon door slowly.

Raf took the bag back from Katie, before she made her announcement about needing a posse he agreed to see that what had been taken would be returned to the rightful owners. Once the stolen goods had been returned Raf left the dance heading over to his saloon. Waiting in his office was the man who lead the mission to kill those loose ends. His name was Ben Tate, he worked as the foreman at Raf's Ranch.

Ben told Raf that everything went just the way Raf had wanted. There was nothing that would tie anyone who worked for Raf to this crime. Raf was pleased that everything was going as he had planned. He then told Ben to get a hold of Amos Brady who was the man Katie kicked out of her place a month or so ago for being drunk. Katie had roughed up Amos after he put his hands on her. Raf had a job for Amos, this job was the second part of Raf's plan to humiliate Katie.

Ben left the saloon and Raf went back to work. An hour or so later Raf was standing at the bar of his saloon when Katie walked in. The saloon was empty and Raf was counting money at the bar while drinking some whiskey. " It's good too see that you're alright Marshal. " Raf said as a smile came over his face. He moved around to the other side to greet Katie. " How about that drink?.......what would you like?.......it's on the house. " Raf asked as he moved closer to Katie placing his hand gently on her cheek.

Katie smiled as she walked across the empty room towards the bar. The place was perhaps a little bigger than the bar at Katie's. It was well decorated in rich red and green and gold papers and fabrics. The bar itself was a rich dark brown wood and behind it a huge mirror in front of which sat bottles of every size and shape and colour. There was the smell of cologne and purfume and alcohol and cigar smoke in the room. It was warm, perhaps even a little intoxicating.

Raf had disguarded his long coat and his silk tie was undone but still hanging around his neck. His waistcoat was unbuttoned and the top two buttons of his shirt were also open. He actually looked better that he had when he was ... prestine.

"On the house huh? You wouldn't be trying to bribe an officer of the law would you now Mr. Hollister." She smiled back at him as she leaned on the bar and watched as Raf just looked back at her smiling. "Whiskey would be good... thank you."

Raf let out a hearty laugh when Katie teased him about his drink offer being on the house. " Of course not Marshal.......it's just my way of thanking you for the hard work you do as Marshal. " Raf said as he picked up from the bar the bottle of whiskey that he was drinking from. " This is the finest 12 year old scotch whiskey.......I drink nothing but the best.......and share nothing but the best with an honored guest. " Raf said as he poured some of the scotch into a second glass which he grabbed from the back of the bar.

Raf moved the glass that he just poured the scotch into towards Katie. " I'm so glad that you took my offer for a drink.......I must confess something to you. " Raf said as he downed his own glass of whiskey. " I've been wanting the chance to get you alone for sometime now........I find you the most fascinating woman that I've ever met. " Raf said as he placed his now empty glass on the bar then moved closer to Katie.

Raf was now standing very close to Katie, he placed a hand onto her right shoulder. " I find you more intoxicating then anything else in this world. " Raf's voice was soft, but strong while his hand moved from Katie's shoulder to her cheek. His fingers brushed over Katie's cheek then he lowered his head locking his lips around hers. The kiss started out soft but soon drifted into a more passion filled and very lustful one.
