The killing (ShoXVampire07)

"From what you told me about how your men treated you and learning the fact that you're of royalty..." he said removing the final heavy part of his clothing. "...nothing surprises me at this point." he said simply.

Seeing he didn't care she shrugged her shoulders. "Family is everything to us. See you at Dinner, Prince." she said as she opened his door and stepped out soon she shut the door and walked down the hall. She soon made her way to the stables as some of the men looked at her with confusion. Smiling softly as she walked to the horses they had which were placed in a small pen just outside teh stables. There she stood at the fence as one young mare walked over to her. "Hello Natasha..." She said softly as the young thing nickered softly to Aiko with the young elven woman rubbing the mare's cheek.

"I hope so.." He said softly after she left.

Dinner was as good as it was planned; the feast consisted of many different varies that everyone couldn't help but try a bit of everything. Of course, Serron sat on the side corner of the table just as Aiko did but on the other side of the big long table. He said nothing as the king spoke with the elf princess.

Lithie smiled as she entrtrained the king with stories of her lands and tried to explain the roles each person had. Atleast to keep things relaxed at dinner as she noticed Aiko didn't want to be there longer.

Aiko sat not to far from Serron but she barely ate as usual though she soon rose bowing her head to the royal family before retiring to the gardens. She wasn't trying to be rude just add distance between her and Serron before escorting him and some of his knights to their home. Though Aiko moved into teh large garden only to see a patch of flowers she never seen before. Slowly she walked closer only to have a Knight with blonde hair address her.

"They're roses..." He said softly as he walked closer as he was much older than Serron but a wonderful soldier. "You never seen them before have you?"

"Oh, no. To little sun light but some of the flowers had adapted for both day and night." She said softly as she leaned in inhaling their scent.

Serron saw that Aiko had left the table after her meal. He was about done but he wanted to hear more on what his father was saying as well as what princess Lithie was saying. It interest him that they never met this powerful elf figure although they've been aware of the elves for nearly 30 years.

Of course, from what Aiko told him, he didn't know if they had more 'secrets' that were hidden from humans. Only during his time with them will he actually know.

"You see your Highness our people are the type to want to be left alone to thrive and teach our children our rich culture." She said as she was getting worried if her cousin was upset about something. Though she brushed it aside with her smiling to the Prince as if welcoming in on the conversation if he needed to ask anything. "Will your son be traveling with us with some of his Knights?" she asked Serron's father with her sipping her mead.

"If allowed." The king said with a nod.

Serron wondered if the knights would be just as open minded as he would be when he arrives in their kingdom. Of course, following a royal higher figure was important for success in your life so likely it would be so.

"May I ask, is your kingdom currently at work for any 'projects'?" the queen asked politely while Serron drank his wine looking at the Princess.

"Projects? Such as?" She asked as she looked to the queen with curiousity. Lithie got an idea what they were talking about maybe trying to get her to slip on giving them a reason to attack. "Oh I insist on your son to bring two guards at most if you don't mind." She said to the Queen with a soft smile. "I don't want him to get to scared on not knowing anyone while he's in a strange land." Of course she was teasing Serron on still being young but she wanted his family to be relaxed with her atleast.

Serron gave a displeased look while blushing a bit at her comment.

"Well for kingdom relations, we're curious if there's any major projects that you're planning such as new cities to your kingdom or perhaps sending some explorers on a quest for new lands? We have nothing at the moment aside from growing our economy and/or expanding it to new lands that contain valuable resources." The king spoke up.

"Or perhaps we can both begin a trade?" He suggested.

The subject became boring to this point as Serron left the table. He honestly took no more interest as he didn't lean more about elves although trade would help the relationship.

Walking back to his quarters, he stopped as he found himself next to a guarded door by 2 elves. "Is Aiko in there?" he asked curiously.

Lithie smiled softly to the King as he even admitted on taking lands. Fool she thougth to herself as she shifted in her seat thinking it over. "Now that I think of it. We're teaching our girls herbal medicines and sent small supplies out to neighboring lands to see if it improves the illness. We've have much success on that. We..." She said as she turned to the Queen to continue this part. "We've received new fruits from far away lands on some of the men we sent out to explore. So we're trying to produce these fruits. Though a trade does sound wonderful!" She said as she looked to the King. "Our farming tools are so old and we need metals to form the blades of our plows. Would you happen to have some spare ore we can trade for the time being? Or we can make a trading route through my lands to make it easier for you to trade far off and if you allow my people to travel through to expand as well?" She asked softly as this was her first trade in a foreign land.

The male elf looked to Serron as his blade came down only to have Aiko open the door as there was a red rose in her hair. "Quit harrasing him." She said with her poking the male in his side. He gave her a glare but he was blushing. "Is there anything I can do for you Prince?" She asked him as her hair was unbraided so it fell over her shoulders like the last time they saw eachother.

"Well I wanted to wish you a good night my guest." he said taking her hand and kissing it softly. "I will you and your cousin tomorrow when we leave." he said to her before adding, "Your cousin is discusing trade with my father as we speak, so you make expect her to be 'late' " he told her before bowing a bit and walking away to his own room.

When he took her hand she pulled it back as she felt his lips on the back of her hand. "If you say so." She turned looking to the men. "I'll be out for abit. Sir Richard is going to show me around." She said it as she didn't realize he was still in ear range.

She began to walk away as the tall blonde knight who was going to meet her saw the Prince. He stopped and bowed to him as Aiko stopped short. "My Lord, I hope your evening has gone without a problem..."

Serron however didn't pay mind. Clearly as a young prince and one who had the power, Aiko clearly didn't have that 'special' type of bond between the two of them although they made a deal pack.

The next day came with a bright clean future ahead. Serron had slept soundly and thought about Aiko. (Wonder if she was making a bond?) he wondered the young minded prince. Clearly he didn't know what sex meant for love and emotional but he didn't see it as he wasn't in love at all.

After getting dressed, he arrived in the hall meeting with his mother who looked sternly. "So...." She started.

"So yes mother." Serron said looking away a bit; she was way beyond against this idea of his.

Aiko only talked to Richard as they walked along talking through the night. Soon he escorted her back to her room and they left it as that. She felt like she couldn't talk to Serron like she could with Serron. She tried when she was in his room but it seemed he didn't want to talk. So she had to learn of human behavior through another source, Richard.

Though when morning came around she was in a green gown as she walked out to the hall seeing the look his mother had. "By the gods..." she said as she was refraining herself from snapping at the woman. Though soon she turned away from Serron as she felt connected to him but with her hand over her heart she stepped outside the front large doors seeing their carriage being harnessed up. But the stable hands were having a hell of a time getting the two stubborn horses strapped in.

"I'll fine mother." He assured her. "If I am to rule this land, a King must travel for the sake of his kingdom." He said softly to her.

She smiled softly placing a hand on his cheek.

"Serron." The king appeared.

"Father..." Serron said as he looked at him.

"A word?" he asked stepping towards the large doors. A bit opened, they spoke with privacy...

Serron knew his father was up to something. Only he didn't expect for what his father was about to say.

"My son." he repeated moving his hands on his arms. "When are you planning to wed?" He asked looking somewhat serious.

Serron's face turned into a harden expression blushing as well. "W-what?!"

Richard was tired of the horses and smacked the young mare whose hoof soon slammed into his chest plate. "THAT FILTHY BEAST!" He yelled as he got to his feet pulling his sword out as if to scare the creature.

"STOP!" Aiko shouted as she rushed down the steps as she raised the mare and was her companion. Aiko moved between the beings as her hand touched the wild mare's chest which soon soothed her. Little did Aiko know Serron was getting the talk from his father. Soon the mare settled down as the Dark Elven men strapped the horses in with Aiko glaring at Richard seeing he used the gentlemen ploy to bed her. Atleast Serron and her said up front atleast. Aiko dismissed Richard and his men as soon she walked inside wondering where her cousin was. Though she noticed Serron was gone from his mother.

"?" Serron heard yelling but his father didn't seem to pay mind.

"When are you planning to wed my son? You've reached of adulthood when your 17th year came but now you're in your 19th. I expect you to be able to become king by wedding a worthy woman that will mother your children!" He said seriously. Although he seemed like he didn't want his son to rule many months ago, he seemed to be 'pushing' his son. Maybe because Serron for once was actually doing something as a prince?

"Father- I am not planning to become king by wedding with a woman!" he said angrily although blushing.

"Surely there's SOMEONE that you enjoy..." The king said raising a eyebrow as he let go of his son. "How do you feel about...those elves? As in one of the females?"

Serron's jaw dropped as his father was having a change of heart??

Aiko was rather flushed as she couldn't believe a human could do something to an animal who was loyal to him. Well in this case a horse mainly. Shaking her head as she picked up the hem of her gown and ran up the stairs to rush her cousin's room. "Princess! We need to go...NOW!" She snapped only to have her cousin open her door glaring at her.

"Enough! we're guests-"

"Thats the point, Lithie!" Aiko snapped as she was actting more like a protector than a handmaiden. Before long Lithie moved down ahead of Aiko and soon Lithie was escorted out to the carriage as Aiko stood there in front of the open doors wondering whats taking Serron so long as she knew none of his men knew how to get there.

Serron shook his head after a few more minutes talking it out. "Bye father..." he said with displeasure as he walked out. He noticed that The elves were ready to go.

Walking down the steps, he saw that the elves were walking into the carriage. he didn't expect to leave so soon as he just wanted to be away from his father for a while. Walking down towards the carriage, one of his knights stepped forward. "Sir, are you ready to leave? The elves are wanting to leave now."

"Why?" he asked looking at his knight. He noticed that Aiko seemed upset. "Something the matter?" he asked walking forward towards her.

When Serron mentioned why they wanted to leave so soon she looked at him then when he approached her she looked away from him. "Sir Richard made a move to kill my Natasha..." she said as she nodded to the mare who bit at the reigns as she arched her neck with pride. She was a beautiful white mare with black stockings on her legs. Aiko was heart broken someone would do that to a creature who did things the way they were familiar with. "If I were you, Prince, I'd watch your Knight Richard he has a temper on him when he doesn't get what he wants." she said in a hushed voice.

"Richard?" he asked blinking. He knew of that knight part of his father's army who was staying. "I see...I do apologize..." He said as he looked at his current roster. "I assure you, ANYONE who offends you will pay the price." he said looking at his own knights who of course understood that 'order'. "shall we?" he asked with a honest expression to her.

"Why would you make them pay?" She asked softly as if hurt in a different way. Though she walked ahead of him and slipped into the carriage beside her cousin but she sat bit from her cousin clearly not wanting to be touched. There was plenty of space for Serron to ride with them if he wanted.

"this is a mission for peace and if they do anything that can lead to something that can harm their people, I will count that as treason." he said as he stepped in of course. His men would ride their own horses along with the elves. Sitting down, he was on the other side in the middle while the other two sat on the other side in the corners. "How long will the journey be?" He asked curiously.

Lithie loked to Aiko expecting her to answer but seeing she wasn't interested Lithie smiled to Serron softly. "It will be awhile. The horses tend to move faster when they are heading home. So hold on." She said with a soft giggle as if it was fake. Aiko hated that about her cousin.

Soon the horses nickered with the carriage jerking hard with the horses being powerful enough to pull such a heavy carriage into a gallop. Aiko did sneak a few glances to Serron but knew something was wrong.

"Aiko...When we get home mind if I speak to you?" Lithie asked sweetly only to mask her distaste for Aiko's behavior.

"Rather we didn't..." she muttered softly only knowing she made her punishment worse.

Serron didn't say anything. Something he took notice was Lithie was different from Aiko. While as 'attractive', she was shorter and seemed very out spoken towards things. When she said that the horses tend to move faster while returning to their lands, he wondered 'how fast' they were referring to.
