A Not-So-Peaceful Marriage

The boy reached up and swift as lightning grabbed the bird and pulled it down. He looked at her with soulless eyes as he spoke. "Change back now before I crush your weak body." He said as his hands already began to start crushing the bird. "Change. Now." He said as one hand went to the bird's neckline and choked it even harder, but not hard enough to crush the windpipe or snap its neck. 'What am I saying...!? What am I doing!?'

Aware of the lack of consciousness in his eyes, Myran didn't allow his grip to last flapping her powerful wings to knock his hands away. Who cared if he tried to strangle her? If he killed her here and now, everyone would suffer, but her virginity was one of the few things that she absolutely would not concede. As she freed herself from his grip - she'd clipped him with a wing - she flew upwards, shooting up at speeds he couldn't possibly match.

The boy watched her, standing up straight like a bullet as he watched the sky where he was, erection still high as he remained like a doll that stood as it was before its owner left it. He couldn't move...He only watched the sky...waiting for the girl to return so that he could have sex with her and take her virginity. 'Whats wrong with me...!? I'm glad she got away....If I actually did something like that, I don't think I'd die...I'd be tortured.'

Myran circled over him, well out of his reach. It may have been five feet, but it was a happily vertical five feet... And that wasn't something she thought a wolf could overcome. If she tired, there were plenty of trees around and she could always hop to and fro. As it was... She needed to figure out what in the hell was wrong with Nathan and how long it would take before it wore off.

Eventually Nathan's body turned and looked around. It began to walk over to a plant...one similar to the one Nathan had eaten before, and ate it. It kept whatever parasite it was that was controlling him in trouble...and if it lacked the berries, it would die. Going back to where it was...it watched her...waiting for her to come down.

Myran's eyes could easily see that he was being affected by whatever it was that he'd just eaten. Stupid, stupid boy! she couldn't help but think angrily. Just when things were going so well! Still, it looked as though only two or three of the berries the bush held were actually ripe. Maybe it would wear off sooner rather than later...?

After another hour, the body finally moved to grab its next berry. Taking it and eating it, it moved back to her position...watching her...waiting for any moment she would come down. "Here birdie...Come over here..." He held out some berries in his hands...among them, and hidden, was one of the berries that he had eaten. "Come and eat...you must be hungry." He slid the berries onto the ground and stepped back a couple of yards.

Myran wasn't stupid. She'd already seen what he'd done - and the fact that he was calling her 'birdie' instead of by name was telling. He had yet to take control of himself. Still, she was capable of moving at speeds of over a hundred miles per hour. She easily plucked the berry from the ground and brought it up to the trees. She didn't eat it. No, instead, she set it onto a branch, but she remained up there, not allowing him to see what she was doing. Then, she began to kite through the air above him once more.

After another hour, Nathan went and took another berry from its stem and ate it...Giving the parasite full control again. "Come on Myran...Just eat some food so we can have fun with this walk..." He said as he walked over to a tree and sat down beside it, watching her. "Let us make love like true lovers of marriage...You're hurting my feelings Myran."

Myran merely ignored him, still flying high above. With the berry she'd taken from him, there was, at max, only two hours before it would be over. She was still incredulous. The stupid boy - who the hell went and did things like that at will without thinking? Especially if you didn't know what it was?! And if he had known - well, that just made things worse for him, didn't it?

Eventually the creature below looked like it was having spasms. It began to twitch and turn on the ground and say garbled words before it fell over and seemed to be dead.

(Sorry for a short post...I've just woken up and I'v got a cold)

Myran continued to wait. No matter what was happening, either Nathan or Fujiyomi would call up to her when he'd regained his capacities.

(No problem, but now you get a short response. xD GO TO SLEEP)

(I don't want to sleep. I went to bed at 4AM and I woke up at 2:30 PM >.>)

The boy remained still until eventually Nathan stood up. "What just happened...?" He said as he rubbed his head. "Oh yeah...Something weird was happening to my body..." He murmured as he stood up and looked around. He walked forward and saw that Myran was gone. "Either she risked the effects of the marriage magic or she's hiding somewhere..." He began to look around but he couldn't catch her.

Aware that he'd returned to some semblance of normalcy, Myran dropped to the earth beside him with a thump as she changed back into her human form. Immediately, she swatted him. "Didn't you ever learn not to eat strange things without checking over them first?!" she demanded, seething.

Nathan rubbed his head as he listened to her lecture. "Shut up...This is how I've always lived...I've just never eaten anything this far out from the village. I usually have food rations with me." He said as he backed away from her, tensing as he awaited more of her fury. "What are you going to do then? Scold me some more or are you actually going to cut me some slack?"

"How you've always lived? How careless," she said coolly. "And I have every right to scold you considering you tried to rape me and kept us out here for hours as a result of how you've always lived!" Her eyes were alight with her anger. "Why would I cut you some slack after having to endure hours of that?!"

Nathan sighed. "Yes yes...Just go ahead and bitch at me because I really do deserve it." He said rubbing the back of his head. "Look...I may not be the best husband there is...but I'm trying not to be the worst either and I'm swiftly going toward that road." He murmured before looking to her with sad eyes. "Sorry I'm an idiot."

Myran rolled her eyes. "I don't consider you my husband," she said bluntly. "Not yet. We may have undergone the ceremony, but you have not acted a man, so I find it difficult to consider you as such. Rather, when I think of you, I think of a child." She turned, gesturing towards him on the path back home. "However, you have potential to grow up and to mature. The most I can do is push you down that path."

Nathan shrugged as he stood up and looked around. "Alright...push me down the path. If it means you accepting me as your husband, then I'll do it." He said as he moved over to her and smiled as he took her hands gently. "Lead the way...Myran."

Myran smiled at him before pulling him back down the path to where the house they lived in lie. They would eat, sleep, and speak, live together, and deal with each other. Or downright kill each other, but she didn't think it would get to be that bad. He was a child, after all, and there was much he needed to learn. "Not just yet, Nathan," she said with a smile, "But maybe someday."

Hearing that she would probably eventually accept him as a husband, he knew there was a chance to live peacefully with each others' tribes if two of the worst people in each of the villages lived together. Smiling as he entered the house with her, he lead her to her bed and laid her down. "You go to sleep...When you wake up...I'll have dinner prepared for you. Something nice and juicy. Hope you like Deer Meat...right?"

"Yes, venison is well enough," she said, giving him a soft, approving smile. She was decided - if he was willing to give this a try, then so was she.... Especially if he was willing to try and get over his own issues in order to make it work. After all, it wasn't easy to admit that one could be better, and it wasn't any easier to try and change that fact. Myran was amused that he'd decided he'd try to cook for her - of all things, after all, food? Still, it was a nice thought and she would not mock it. "I shall take a bit of a nap, then."
