A Not-So-Peaceful Marriage

"Don't call me by such endearments until you sincerely feel them," Myran immediately scolded. "Otherwise, I'll only get angry. There's no sense in treating this like a real marriage. For now, we just need to get to know each other. It's why they locked us up together." She, too, had, for the most part, finished eating. She took up a small container of nuts and berries and set it aside as she threw the dishes into the sink. She'd handle them later.

Nathan frowned as he listened to the scolding and watched as she began to clean the plates. He sighed as he laid his head on the table and was now bored. "Jeez...they give us a hut and a year supply of food...Food and shelter but no entertainment...all I have is a woman who can be generous at times and scolding at times and all I have to show for it is being an ass...huh...?"

Myran shrugged. "You don't have to be an ass," she reminded. "You just happen to be one. You can always change... And it's not like they gave us no entertainment." She nodded towards a bookshelf. "They gave us plenty of useful books to read."

Nathan's eyebrow twitched. "Going to act like a child in a bit if I'm forced to read a book..." He murmured to himself as he slugged himself off the table. "Can't we go for a walk or something Myran...? We don't have to do anything. I'd rather get fresh air than the stiff air inside this hut. The outside is good for us...Don't you think?" Of course Nathan's people were all hunters...he wasn't exactly sure what Myran's people were. He missed that part of the explanation of their people...among other parts...before he married her.

"Maybe," she considered. "Let me finish with these - unless you'd like to help." The sheer number of containers he'd emptied out was... undoubtedly impressive. As it were, she had at least another twenty minutes to go if she was doing it all herself. Still, she understood what he meant. She wanted to go out and be about, too.

Nodding, Nathan walked over and began to take the dishes and began to wash them silently. As he did so...he seemed to give off an aura of maturity...it even showed in his eyes and stature how tall and manly he was now as he continued to wash the dishes. "Heh..." He said silently to himself as he seemed to clean off every dish with such precision and speed...It was somewhat impressive to most.

She paid no mind to his temporary maturity. Once the dishes were done, she dried her hands off, and did a quick survey of their immediate vicinity to make sure all was well and tidied up. Once that was certain, she took a small cloth pouch and filled it with some of the nuts and berries from the container she'd set aside. The container would be placed in the room they shared, but the pouch would go with her on their walk.

Finishing up in no time, Nathan turned to her with a small smile. "Well then...?" He said as he walked over to the door and opened it, bending over to bow and motion for her to go first. "Shall we be off madam?" He said chuckling as he waited for her to leave. He had everything he needed...a hunting knife and the clothes on his back. That was more than enough of what he needed.

She followed along, laughing softly at his interesting turn of phrase. There was no doubt that she was in a much better mood now than she was in earlier. MUCH better. Still, here and there, as they moved along, she made a point to scatter some of the nuts and berries. Here and there, she'd take a bite for herself, but for the most part, she scattered them from her pouch.

Watching as she scattered the nuts and berries around, he wondered why she was doing that. "Why are you just...taking them out and dropping them along the trail? You aren't...marking our route are you?" He said chuckling as he shook his head. "Have you no sense of the outdoors...Myran? Can you not tell where you are and remember how to get back home? Leaving a bread crumb trail like Hansel and Gretel won't necessarily mean we'll make it back home."

She stared at him as though he'd grown a second, third, and fourth set of heads. "Do you.... recall what my animal form is?" she asked him.

Nathan cocked his head as he looked to her. "Its a bird isn't it...? I know they eat nuts and berries...but why would you spread them around like this? Wouldn't other creatures come down and take them before we're finished with our walk? Or did you have something else in mind by doing this that involves your transformation?"

Myran sighed. "If I'm a bird, I don't need to worry about getting lost. I can just fly over the trees to get back to where I need to be. I've never gotten lost once in my whole life. And as far as why I'm scattering these... It's for the other birds in the area." She shrugged, her explanation complete. Her pouch empty, she placed it in her pocket and they continued onwards.

"Ah..." He said silently as he continued to walk on. 'Feed other birds...well I guess she would feed her people if she could...' He thought in his mind as they continued to walk. He passed by a weird berry growing on a tree and stopped silently to let her walk on. Looking at the huge thing...he took a bite of it and he loved the taste! He finished the rest with one bite and began to follow after her happily.

She hadn't noticed him straying since she'd been in front - nor had she noticed him taking on the berry. No, instead, they continued to walk. "It's a shame, though. There's no one within miles of us as decreed by both chiefs. We're not allowed to return to either until that year is up, too..."

"Who says we should return huh? There's a whole world out there to explore...should we really have to just stay with them?" He grabbed her shoulders and turned her around but as he did so, he felt his head daze as he suddenly saw two of her before going back to normal. Shaking his head, he continued on. "Lets travel the world...There's no point in us staying with them if our marriage brings the two tribes together...lets travel...!" He said smiling to her.

Myran shook her head, smiling softly. "It's not just that we're married, Nathan," she reminded him. "They'll expect children and a peaceful union. It's not the marriage that binds our tribes together - it's us. We can't just go off and leave everyone. It wouldn't be right, especially when they're finally trying to find a peaceful solution." No matter who else they screw in the process.

Nathan sighed. "So we're screwed then..." He murmured as he watched her. He shook his head. "If thats the case..." He moved over and began to hug her...but doing so only made him have that dizzy feeling once more. Closing his eyes, he waited for it to pass before he spoke. "I'll try and not be a nuissance...You're stuck with me...I'll get to see you everyday of my life for the next year...no need to prank you for attention...most of the time heheh..."

Myran looked at him sternly, not bothering to try and escape his grasp. "If you prank me, Nathan, you'll find yourself taking care of your own food for the rest of our stay in that house. You'll find you can get my attention quite easily, alright? There's no need to get up to such mischief when we're trying to get comfortable with each other...." She looked at him slyly. "Besides, you don't want to deal with my revenge. It's not anywhere near as fun and probably will hurt."

Nathan was silent...His legs were shaky as he couldn't seem to let go of her. 'W-Whats happening to me...? Why...Why can't I move...?' He thought in his head...his body began to move on its own and his head moved to place its lips onto hers gently...his eyes closing against his will and he could only sit there and enjoy it...as much as he tried to stop. His body held her body close to his...stronger than before to constrict her to him.

Myran's eyes went wide as he pressed his lips against her and began to crush her against him with his grip. Startled and off guard, she was unable to escape - nor could she risk transforming in the event that he caught her partway through it. "Nathan? Nathan!" she uttered his name in an attempt to call his attention to her will. Yet, it was to no avail... And so instead, she tried to move her arms in an upsweep to knock his arms away.

His body fell and brought her down with him...his lips continued to kiss her as his tongue slithered into her mouth to dance with her own as his hands began to tear off his and her clothing until they were both naked on the ground. One of his hands went to her breast while the other still held her tightly. 'I...What am I doing...!? I'm going to die if this keeps up...!'

Myran began to grow angry, but when he started to tear apart their clothing, she froze. Such a child wouldn't do such a nothing. He might tease or make suggestions and implications, but from the short time she'd spent with him, she was well aware that he wasn't the kind of boy that would do such. For all his bad habits and imperfections, he was a good kid. One that she was going to seriously scold if he couldn't find a way to regain control of his body.

"What in the blazes are you doing?!" she demanded, wriggling to escape from beneath him.

He couldn't answer when he wanted to. Only silence came out of a mouth with its tongue still in her mouth. 'Dammit she's going to kill me for this...!' He tried his hardest to try and wiggle free from his mental containment but all that did was turn the body onto her to begin to fondle both her breasts as his erect cock began to slide its shaft up and down her crevice. 'Oh man...If...If I have sex with her like this, she'll murder me in my sleep...!'

It was when his cock came out to play that she knew she could take this lying down. Using leverage and patience, she rolled them over and darted backwards. This... This was ridiculous. She was just barely off of him when she changed, swapping over into her bird form. If and when that happened, she was damned well going to be in control of making that decision.
