There's not as many off the top of my head as DC, but they're all (except Jubilee) interesting females in their own right. As far as strong women go, Emma Frost, Storm, Psylocke, and Mystique definitely fall in that category. Psylocke herself even had her own comic series for a while.
Though some could easily argue that it was get sex appeal that sold that series.

My recent obsession with Wonder Woman... I have no problem with wonder woman, i am just a marvel person and don't know why i have this sudden infatuation with her. I think its because Marvel kind of lacks strong female charecters

DC had Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Huntress, Power Girl, Batgirl, Supergirl, Zantana, Wonder Girl, and so many others, just like Marvel has those listed above.

To both of you, it is NOT that either lacks strong female characters, rather that the perception of what a "strong woman" is gets frequently distorted or misunderstood. "Strong" to me means that it is someone who learns, grows, and helps others as well, and both Marvel and DC have female characters that abound in those areas.

Women who get pissed off when they are "mom/sister zoned", but have no problem putting a guy in the "friend/brother zone". That is because, sorry to say, that it is the hypocritical "but I want the option, even if I never take it" crap.

@Apocpony what about Lady Deathstrike? She was part of Weapon X, but she doesn't need Wolverine/Sabretooth/Omega Ref/ Dead pool to be a force to be reckoned with.

@Rave I prefer Gaza Strip Poker, myself.

@Ruph granted, this is a biased view, but I think friendzone is bullshit. No guy spends THAT much time and energy supporting a woman he isn't in a relationship unless he has romantic feeling for her in some way. Granted, some circumstances do change that, like if they have been friends since they were little, but for the most part that is rarely the case. Any way the whole friendzone status, to me, is... Well, exactly as you put it "having the option with none of the guilt."

I was gonna type something of significance...but then I forgot what thread I'm on, and I'm too lazy to scroll...well, in that case,

Boobs.

"Interventions" for people who really don't need them.

People who are more close-minded than those they criticize and/or vilify.

People who have large gums and small teeth.

People who see a conspiracy behind everything they don't like.

"Haters" of famous people who say the said people "sold out" but it is really because they (the "haters") aren't getting any of the money and/or fame themselves.

"Celebrities" who are just famous for being famous who are famous for no real reason at all.

People who project their issues and shortcomings on others, even when the people they are talking to know that they are projecting.

People who think all of a certain product is the same when in fact there are some with differences. (Ice cream and ketchup are two in the "no they aren't the same" category)

Are you saying people that think ice cream and ketchup are the same or all ice cream or all ketchup are the same because I totally agree with the second part.

A friend of my bought shitty vanilla ice cream and I had bryers in the freezer, she kept coming over and laughing saying "you know you can eat my ice cream." I told her I had bryers and that I would eat hers when it was gone, she gave me an attitude and said "they are both vanilla ice cream, what's the difference?"

Well, for one, the recipe. In the US, Ice cream is allowed to contain a certain percentage of its weight as air instead of actual product. The shittier brands have higher percentages of air incorporated, which is why they don't taste as good, they are so cheap, and why the REALLY crap ones have shards of ice in the cream when they refreeze.

With ketchup, it's about the ingredients and proportions used. Say one brand uses a lot of vinegar, the other doesn't. One brand steam peels their tomatoes, the other chemical peels them everything from how they ingredients are prepared to how the final product is made matters.

To my knowledge, the only thing that really doesn't matter but people still make a huge deal out of is Peanut Butter. I say that because it's all made in the same places, they just change how processed it is, and depending on the company who has a contract with the production plant, they slap a different label on it, so while most people agree they taste/feel different, Skippy, Jif, Peter Pan, and Equate (Walmart Brand) are the exact same stuff from the exact same production plant. What people are paying more for is the brand, not the product. And they don't even realize they are being swindled.

I have no idea how peanut butter is processed, but I will say that the various brands do indeed taste different. Skippy is MUCH sweeter than Jif as an example. Try tasting them side by side some time and telling me otherwise. I dare you. And we have a Jif plant out here..... they do not produce any other brand save Jif to my knowledge.

People who fake conversation contribution by merely doing the 'nod' and 'agreement' deal. Seriously, add something to the topic of discussion for fuck's sake! You've got a brain... try using it.

Also, the Walmart brand is much oilier then the others.

The urge to play WoW again when I know it'll just suck my life away >.>

Dark Souls. Picked it up last night for then first time in 4 months. Broke my controller after 3 hours. But I have made more progress in-game than ever before, so there's silver lining there.
