When my kitten thinks that chewing on my computer cords will somehow inspire me to feed her. That will not work, it has never worked in the history of us, but her optimism is relentless. And sharp-fanged.

Also, my roommate's dog really pisses me off. The stupid bitch barks at every little sound that happens inside of the house outside of her immediate view and her bark is one of the most high-pitch and irritating noises that I have ever heard come from a dog. I don't see why the fuck they put up with it.
 
The over-usage of ellipses. I use them more than I should, I admit, especially when I have a stuttering, shy character. "I...I, well, I th-think that...maybe." But using them in place of a period for every sentence is just annoying, and I cannot read it properly or even consider responding to it.​

It is adorable! It would belong squarely in the Things You Love thread, if only she would confine herself to shit I don't care about, and which has no electrical current running through it. Sadly, attempts to clarify this point have not impressed her.

And that's annoying about your roommate's dog. For some reason, other people's animal noises are always worse for me than my own pets. Er... noises of other people's animals, that is. Roommates making dog noises themselves would be differently weird.
 
People who gotta make role-playing serious business and serious commitment. I know it hurts when idiots approach you and I know it hurts when geniuses abandon you but get over it and move on. Dime a dozen, baby. As long as the world turns this will be the nature of the game. I'm sick of everybody complaining about this same thing over and over again as if they're the only one's this ever happens to, as if they're the only ones getting solicited for shit they do not like or getting left in the dust without a word. All it does is slow the process down a little, that's all. And the more you sit there whining about shit you'll never change, the only one slowing it down now is you, tiny.

If you ask me, what you're really looking for is either 1. an actual writing partner to write a serious, publishable story with(in which case, you make a friend first and get in deep while exploring the creative process together) or 2. an excuse not to write the damn thing yourself. Because who wants to write alone?

Smarmy bastards who have to go into discussion threads and just agree with everybody or tell everyone how correct their opinion is even though they clearly have no idea what they're talking about. If you don't have an original thought to contribute, then shut the fuck up.

I also love how this site's update system seems to work by sending me emails only when people I have on ignore reply to the topics I am watching.

This! I primarily listen to country and I can't stand the music of America's Sweetheart, Taylor Swift. I DESPISE the weeks following a release of any of her new songs. Every country station goes into an "OMG NEW TAYLOR SWIFT SONG COMMING UP IN OUR NEXT FIVE SLOTS!!" fit.

Don't get me wrong, she's attractive, sweet girl and she had a good singing voice. I just can't stand the subject matter of her songs. They are 90% stories about her failed relationships (imaginary or otherwise) and 10% random high school drama. Color me uninterested.
