When people introduce themselves and tell you to call them anything other than their username. Why would you make your username anything other than what you want to be called?

Well maybe their character is not their username for example my name is Yoshie but my character is Winry Seduction.

Who said anything about characters? I'm talking about someone who might have the username: SensualAbandon(just made up as an example) and they introduce themselves outside of an RP as "Hi, I'm SensualAbandon but you can call me Chan, or Bonny, or Sensi!" Wouldn't it make more sense if your username was Bonny or something I can reasonably shorten to Bonny?

Well, most people here call me by Damning or DTH or Heavens. Some people that I talk to more often, I let them call me Daniel or Dan. Some people are less formal and want most people to call them something other than their username, just using their username cause they like the way it looks or sounds, but don't necessarily want to be referred to as it
 
Pts and coworkers who assume I'm soft just because I speak well. I'm not from Bronxville, or Larchmont, or Mount Kisco, I grew up in pretty awful places, not pretty places, so get out of my face.
 
Women who know what they want, and get freaked out when you offer it to them because they think there's a "catch"
 
People who constantly RSVP No for events, and then get mad when you stop inviting them.
 
When you joke with your friend about their cooking and they know it's a joke and they get mad. Or better yet you just make a mean joke and they take it to heart and when the tables are turned and they do the same you are suppose to bite your tongue... Really now? So you can be an asshole and I can't? *sigh*
 
Trying to find a new RP, only to be met over and over and over with the 'silent treatment' end of things. You know, I'd much rather be flat out told to go fuck myself and die in a ditch than not get a reply to begin with.

T.T I know but if what goes around comes around then I always give out food, friends come to my house and freeload ALL THE DAMN time how come when I go to their home there is NEVER any foodz

Also what bothers me is that people are bothered when others speak their mind? Why? It's an opinion and you are entitled to one... why care about what someone else says or does?
