Little Things That Bother You

I am not for the anti gun law I just think that it should be monitored a little more closely so that Colorado can be more careful... I don't like anti anything because I think people should have the right to CHOSE what they want and how they wanna do something. But again with laws and anything it needs to be regulated and looked after

Arrogant people. (But I suppose there will always be people who make you wanna raise your middle finger to them everytime they speak to you.)

I love guns, but......
It irritates me when people think that the US constitution assures them the right to own a gun. The constitution says In order to maintain a WELL ORGANIZED militia CONGRESS shall not make any law prohibiting the right to keep and bear arms.
The supreme court has not touched this. There has not been ONE gun control issue the supreme court has heard, because they don't want to touch that shit. Whichever side they come down on will be a nightmare for everyone.
In fact, when this was first enacted, ALL men of militia age(16-60) were REQUIRED to buy a gun and receive training on its use. That was when we didn't have a military. Now we do.
So the question is this, since there is no more well trained militia, does this still apply? Should we continue to have the right to own guns? Should the Supreme court see a gun control law appeal and rule in favor of the people owning guns?
In my opinion, yes. I believe they should. But you don't know what the supreme court will do.
Also, until the court rules on it, individual states have the right to enact any gun control they so wish.

Question: So why is it that politics are scary or in a sense 'corrupt' if we have a democracy and WE as a people get to choose who 'rules' us?

We don't have a democracy. We have a representative republic. We don't choose who 'rules' us. We choose who represents us. Yeah, there's some corruption, but for the most part our representatives are supposed to follow our wishes and vote in the house and senate in a way that reflects the things we want them to accomplish. Blame voter turnout for crappy legislation

Presidents can then sign the laws with "signing statement" that says that certain parts will not be enforced, which they do for a lot of the outlandish shit that gets put in during markup.

That's what concerns me... Why take more money from the people who can't] afford what they already have. I don't really understand politics and I try to stay liberal about everything but somethings confuse me. Like Raising taxes, Gun Laws, School and movie shootings, and 9/11 (another topic I shy away from)

Yes that is what I mean... why can't we raise taxes for the rich... I am sure if they pulled together we could be out of debt... right? Or do I have a childish mindset?

Well the country probably couldn't be out of debt. That's something that probably just WILL NOT happen. But we can sure as hell take care of our own better if we did chip in a little more.

Humans are quite selfish...
At least the one's I run into...
They only want to help themselves
Everyone is out to get theirs
Reluctantly we don't see that if we help each other we will be better off.

LOL I spelled hater ^^

It's human nature to want the best for oneself and one's loved ones. It's irrational to help all. And maybe we wouldn't be better off if we helped everyone. I honestly don't know. But I want to help because I want to see people better off.
And yes, yes you did

Helping is a hindrance to yourself when you give resources to another that are limited, therefor taking away part of you and your family's supply. that is why bartering became a thing. One person gives another something in return for something of equal value. And as for is helping others 'right'? I think so but just because we think so does not make it so.

When I think I've matched an awesome post from one of my partners, then I post it, and I am like "Aww... no... I look like a noob now."

Constantly happy people " i'm so happy but it's all a facade"
When someone asks me if i want to go somewhere and then immediately expects me to be ready to leave.
When a book comes out that you've been waiting forever for...and it's SUPER tiny compared to the others.

That. Or "Wanna go here?" Then ten/twenty minutes later. "You ready yet!?" Um, no, I'm not ready since your ass was in the bathroom the past half hour getting ready so I'm NOT ready. >8|

I think what's worse is when you make plans with someone and remind them an hour before said plans begin, arrive at their house, ready to go and they haven't even dressed. Like seriously. I fucking told you I was coming to pick you up at 5, that means I will be AT YOUR HOUSE AT 5. SO YOU BETTER FUCKING BE READY. I have one friend who does this all the time, it pisses me off to no end.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a terribly punctual person, or I at least try to be. So when I have to deal with people who aren't I get extremely frustrated. I have actually told one person whom was not ready at the time they said they were going to be ready at that I didn't have the time to hang out with them anymore, because I had made plans after them, and with their delay I was just going to move on to my later plans because I refused to wait around.

I can understand this and what I hate about this is when someone tells you "I'll be over around __ time so be up. You say okay, now I'm a junkie kinda person when I wanna be but I am very clean when people come to my house so when so and so says they are coming over I drag my lazy ass outta bed and then I clean and bathe and all that good junk and then...THEY NEVER SHOW... *sigh*

When girls admit they have oral herpes and get upset when I won't kiss them.

@Anansi at least they admit it.

When you are trying to get over your ex, you are doing fine... and then they call. Now you're back at step One.
