A Prince's Descion

Lineka raised her eyebrow at him, before giggling softly. "We'll make an adventure out of it. The Grande journey to discover the source of the cider." She teased playfully, taking another drink. She felt... better. Less stressed, less worried that something horrible was about to happen the next second. She could just happily sit next to her friend and just enjoy spending a little time with him.

"Maybe I will. After the quest for the prince's sacred guard." He joked. "Lineka, it's nice to know you can crack the occasional joke. Especially in days like this." He hugged her again, resting his head on her shoulder.

Linkea smiled at his response. "I take pride in being equally amusing and able to protect." She blinked in surprise when he hugged her again, leaning his head on her shoulder. She sat there awkwardly for a few seconds before relaxing and hugging him back, gently patting his shoulder.

The chicken had arrived. Chefs had set up a table for them to sit at while they ate. "Shall we begin our feast?" Akiriu asked standing up. He removed the platter, the chicken steaming warm.

Lineka chuckled. "If you're hungry, Akiriu." She had to actively remind herself to use his name, habit wanted her to call him highness, prince, similar phrases. It took concentration to use his name... but it was nice. She followed him, exchanging looks with the chefs as they went to leave the room. They calmly nodded, the signal that there was nothing going on for her to worry about. A very calming all clear.

Akiriu used the carving knife to cut up the chicken. "Go ahead and take a seat. I'll worry about the food." He assured her. He nodded his head confidently, showing that he had things under control.

Lineka eyed him warily and sat down. She didn't much like him with sharp objects. Not to say she didn't want him armed, she just didn't want him to get hurt. She watched him worriedly, a little placated by the expression of strength and confidence that shown in his eyes. She sighed, trying to relax in the chair. He was just cutting up a chicken, there was no reason to get seriously worried over something like that.

Akiriu carved the chicken off the bones. "It's not too difficult, see Lineka?" He said. He twirled the knife around fingers. He moved with fluid motion and speed. He tossed it up and held his hand out fingers flat. The knife came to halt, sliding between the fingers. "Told you I could."

Lineka quickly buried her face in her hands, unwilling to sit there and stare at the prince playing around with a knife like that. She sighed deeply, refusing to look up. "Please.... Please.... never do that again. At least, never do that again while I'm watching." She said quietly, not wanting to look up in case she'd see him continuing to play with the knife.

Akiriu saw he went too far with the knife. He walked over to Lineka and placed his DS on her shoulders. He massaged her to help her relax a little. "Consider it done. From now on no more knife play. Though I am a little disappointed." He said to her. "I learned how to do it so I could impress you."

Lineka jumped in surprise when she felt his hands on her shoulders. She calmed down, relieved the knife was out of his hands. She leaned toward him as he massaged her shoulders, liking the feel of his hands. She blushed darkly when she heard him, looking up over her shoulder to stare at his face. Lineka shyly put one of her hands over his. "That's... sweet of you Akiriu.. I know I worry too much... but you've never been seriously injured in my care, have you." She said softly, with a small smile on her face.

"I haven't actually." Akiriu pondered. He moved his hands with a gentle fluidness across Lineka's shoulders. Is hands slid down her arms to her sides with ease, trying to relax her even more.

"Exactly." Lineka said quietly. She leaned back so that her head was resting against his chest, her eyes closed. She vaguely wondered where he learned to massage like that, and then wondered if he had even learned at all. He could've just been acting on the fly... Either way, it was lovely.

Akiriu was moving off the fly. He did the same thing do his mother before...he stopped himself right there. He felt Lineka lean into his chest as he massaged her. His hands slid even lower, his head resting on hers. "Do you feel better?" He asked. "I learned to do quite a few things. Only for you..."

"Much better, thank you." Lineka answered, before blushing at his following comment. She was so... content, as they were, his head resting on his, his hands sliding down her arms, she didn't quite feel like moving to conceal the pink that danced across her face. "Akiriu...I...I don't know what to say." She admitted softly, slightly embarrassed but really too relaxed to freak out over it like she normally did.

"Don't say anything." Akiriu muttered softly in her ear. His hand slid down to her waist. "Just let us spend these moments we have together. Our personal shot at peace." He had taken a little of the relaxant as well, his movements reflecting his mind's motives.

Lineka smiled softly. He was right. With the turmoil and chaos that was raging around the kingdom it was nice, no, it was necessary, to spend a few quiet, peaceful moments together. Or they'd both go insane and the entire kingdom would be screwed. She blushed lightly when his hand fell to her waist, but stood calm, mildly curious about what he was doing.

Akiriu leaned in closer. He had to ask her. He felt it necessary to do so. "We've been such good friends Lineka. I really appreciate all that you've done. There's something I want to give you. If you say yes, I would greatly appreciate it." His words were soft and delicate.

Lineka blinked, somewhat confused. She tilted her head to get a better look at his face, her emotions, for once, clear on her face. Confusion, and a general blankness colored her features. "Hmmm? What are you talking about, Akiriu?" She asked.

"What I want to say is: I love you Lineka. I want to be with you, physical and emotionally. I'm offering you my body, my virginity to have and to cherish." Akiriu couldn't help himself. His emotions ran wild, his true self showing through because of her.

Lineka froze, staring at him with an expression of shock. She couldn't move, couldn't think for a good couple of seconds. He was... He wanted... She couldn't understand for a great deal of time. Finally she came to grips with what he just said. She shook slightly, knowing how she wanted to respond but embarrassed to do so. Lineka slowly moved, gently grabbing his collar and pressing her lips against his. She quickly looked away, staring at the ground in front of her. Lineka wanted to speak, but she couldn't find the words, or the breath.

The kiss threw Akiriu off. But he enjoyed it very much. But Lineka pulled back, looking away. "Did I do something wrong?" He asked. He thought he want to far.

"N-no, I... um... I didn't know what to say..." Lineka said quietly. She slowly stood up, careful to not hurt him with her chair. "I'm not good with words... you know that... but..." Lineka slid her arms around his shoulders, pressing her lips firmly against his. Actions she could do, actions were easy. It was everything else that was, awkward.

Akiriu was speechless. In fact, he didn't have words to say. The one thing he wanten this world was here for him to take. But he wouldn't rush. He wanted to enjoy his time with Lineka. His arms wrapped around her waist, returning the kiss.

Lineka couldn't help but smile, a small happy smile. She was, so happy. She had never kissed before, but had no idea how pleasant, how wonderful it felt. She happily clung to him, but it only lasted a few minutes before she had to pause and take a breath.
