Laura tried hard not to laugh, and she managed not to until he stuck his tongue out at her before going into the kitchen to help with dinner. She wanted to help too, but didn't want to get in the way. So she resolved to that after dinner she would help clean up. She couldn't imagine Dea abandoning any woman, good or not, in a dangerous neighborhood. He was a good man, probably why he joined the MOSH. He was right, most humans call the races that were not humans, monsters, and it wasn't fair. She could name a lot of humans that deserve that horrible title more than Dea, his parents and James. Monsteres deliberately harm, she didn't think Dea would ever do that, and he was a very large wolf, some would even say menacing looking. It's funny, she hadn't thought of him as menacing looking since.. that first night they met. He doesn't look menacing to her at all anymore.
