Her Supernatural Soul Mate (Me and Dea)

Laura watched Dea leave the room so he could talk privately on his cell, then gazed back at Maria's baby. "Would it be alright if I held him?" She asked her friend. Maria gently placed the small baby in Laura's arms, "Careful, his claws are sharp," Maria warned with a small. Laura noticed for the first time that his nails were more like claws.

"My parents still haven't come to see him," Maria said sadly, "It's been over a year and they still won't acknowledge us. But I wouldn't change a thing."

Laura felt both happy and sad for Maria, she knew how close her friend use to be to her parents, must hurt that they don't even want to visit to at least see their grandchild.

Dea came back and smiled "sorry But I have to go" He told them before smiling at the baby." Then one a week we should meet here are somewhere elas?" he asked Laura and was looking at the baby as he saw it start to wake up and smile back at dea as it looked like it was looking for it's mommy. As Dea said his good byes and let Laura keep his watch for the week

Laura handed the baby back to it's mother, as she answered, "We can meet at my place, next week." She didn't want Dea to think that she was scared to be alone with him. She walked outside with Dea, not sure how to say good bye to him. Holding the glowing pocket watch still in her hand she hugged him, surprising herself when she did it. "I guess I'll see you in a week. Take care of yourself."

sure Thing. Then next sunday." He told her as he said his good buy and went off to work it was going to be a long night and week as he sighed in his car and ride off down the street and did what he dose bast. Work.

Laura watched him drive away, then went back into her friend's house. Maria and James were her closest friends, Maria she'd known longer, and James she took an instant liking too, not just because he's nice and a great chef, but because of how happy he's made her best friend.

Later that night, in the privacy of her home, Laura was lying in bed, stairing up at the ceiling, unable to sleep. Dea's pocketwatch was on the nightstand by her bed. She'd had it all day and it was still glowing a bright blue. Eventually she did fall asleep.

When she woke up she got dressed for work at the daycare center. The pocketwatch she had slipped in her front jeans pocket. She kept it with her all day and tried to forget about it, but she couldn't. She kept thinking about Dea too. It was that way all week. Each time she looked at the pocketwatch it was glowing blue.

One week had passed, and she was sitting on her front porch swing waiting for Dea to come over. She'd changed clothes, out of her jeans and t-shirt, and was now wearing a white sundress and sandals, her blond hair was down and fell past her shoulders in soft waves. She was holding the pocketwatch in her left hand, looking down at it. It was glowing blue. She sighed, she didn't know if Dea would be relieved or disapointed.

Dea came and pulled up as he smiled. He had just gotten off work and was still in his outfit as he walked over to her." Hay there been a while," he said a she smiled and looked her over and as he came up he saw that the watch had started to glow a little bit of red as he looked at her. And wonder but then." How about we go out for something to eat." he asked her as he looked at her.

"Hey," Laura couldn't help but smile back at him. "Sounds good to me," she answered, looking in his eyes, "Where should we go? The cafe or somewhere else?" It was so good to see him again. It had felt to her like more than a week had gone by since they saw or spoke to each other. She had missed him. She didn't look down at the pocketwatch so didn't notice that it had started to glow a little bit of red.

(ooc: aaww it's glowing red? :( )

Dea smiled as he lead her to his car." I have to stop at my place" He told her as he took her hand to help her up the watch tune back to blue and It seem to stop working as he took her hand. It was that he smiled" ANd no We wont be racing like last time" He told her with a little laugh as he looked at her and open the door.

Laura laughed when he said they wouldn't be racing this time. She wasn't surprised when she felt that spark again when their hands touched as he helped her into his car. Actually she was relieved. She didn't ask why he needed to stop at his place first, he was wearing his work clothes, the same uniform he'd been wearing the night they met, and she assumed he wanted to change before they went out to eat.

"Okay, no speeding, and I promise this time I won't get nervous and run off to my friends house," said, made an x over her chest as she said it, crossing her heart. She buckled her seatbelt and as she waited for him to get into the drivers side, she finally looked at the pocket watch. Though she hadn't noticed when it had glowed red before their hands touched, she did notice that it had stopped. It was glowing blue, but it had stopped. What did that mean?

dea took of and in about half in hour he was half was there as he finally got to his place. his other suv was sitting there as he got out open the door for her." Do you want to come up?" he asked her and waited for her to tell him,.

"Yes," she answered, and got out of his work suv. Though Laura was more curious about him, she was also curious about his place and wanted to see inside. She walked right beside him, and waited for him to let her inside. Kept glancing at him and smiling.

Dea smiled as he open the first door and walked up 7 floors but had her take an other way up. when they meet on his floor he head down to his place open the door and looked in. it was small but big for him. but To a human was way to larger. As he looked at her" Well come on in." There was photos of him when he was a pup a young cop in school his mother and father. As he let her in closed the door and walked over to the main room." Well make your self home." he told her a she went into his room.

Laura was glad there was another way up, she was in shape, but would have been exhausted if she'd gone up the same way as he had. Once inside his place she was surprised at how large it was, well it was large to her. She looked around, "You have a nice, Dea."

Seeing photos, she moved closer to them for a better look. Her smile getting bigger seeing what had to be Dea as a young pup, and then a young cop. And the photo of a wolf couple. "These are your parents?" She asked him. "They look happy, you look happy."

Yea but they were sad to see me go." He told her as he came out in a better looking outfit, jean shots and a tight polo shirt that was blue as he walked over to her and looked at the photos." yea mom has the younger photos." he told her as he walked around looking for keys and other things.

Laura turned, and watched him as he looked for his keys and other things. That his parents weren't happy to see him go didn't surprise her. Her parents weren't happy either when she was finally old enough to move out of the house. She'd ended up moving back into their house though, after they had decided to move to florida to be near her grandmother. His mother has the younger photos of him, hmm. She'd love to see them.

"Do you think they would like me?" She asked, meaning his parents. He still hadn't asked to see the pocketwatch, she didn't know he'd already glanced at it. And Laura was reluctant to bring it up because it had stopped working. It glowed blue, but it had stopped working and she was afraid of what that meant.

Laura nodded, "I would love to have lunch with them. Maybe on one of your days off?" She asked, smiling back. He yawned and she laid a hand on his arm, "You're tired, we don't have to go out, Dea. We could stay here, order something to be delivered, or I could cook for you."

Then why not go? they live down in south Tin Town" he told her as he looked and smiled at her a she walked out and locked his door and lead her to an elevator and waiting for it to come up.

Laura stood next next to him as they waited for the elevator. She was looking forward to meeting Dea's parents. "Think I can talk your mom into letting me see those younger photos of you?" she teased.

No!" Dea said as he blush a bit his ears flat and then he tune" I'll meat you down there." He told her as he went a head and sighed as he went down to his car. She was asking something he never wanted to do. as he pulled the suv to the elevator and open the door for her and waited.

Laura chuckled as he went ahead of her. If his mother was even a little like her own, she knew why he didn't want her to see those younger photos. Her mom would have taken out photo albums and showed him all her embarressing photos, from her diapers to her first home perm (it was a disaster), and worse. She resolved not to ask to see those photos, but not because she didn't want to see them, because she didn't want him to ask her mother if she had any photos of her. Of course it would be a while before Dea could meet her parents, they had promised to visit for thanksgiving, but that was months away.

When she saw him pull up with the car, she walked over and got in. As she buckled up she said, "Okay, I promise I won't ask her, but only if you promise not to ask my mother when you get to meet my parents. That won't be for a while though, they moved to florida."

oh okay but How do I know you wont ask if i'm in a other room?" he asked her and smiled as he pulled off. his own Suv was better looking and a littler more roomy as it didn't have the guns and pc in it as he took off to Tin Town and smiled as he was going along and enter the gated town and dived. there was a lot of wolfs and a humans here but thats tin town for you.

"You don't," she replied without any hesitation at all. "Guess you'll just have to trust me," she added, grinning at him. There was a light of mischeif in her blue eyes. She liked this. Joking around with him. Felt comfortable, felt nice. Certainly didn't feel like she was out with someone she hardly knew. And she was going to meet his parents. Laura knew she should be nerevous, but she wasn't.

Well I dont care i'll have to take the baby photos before she can show you" he told her with a smile and then he point and they were there as his mother was outside washing the car. She like cars more then father but then again his mother was not right something he thinks. as he pulled up she smiled and waved."

Laura laughed, she could picture him doing just that, even taking them into the bathroom with him so his mother couldn't show them to her. Turning her head to look in the direction he'd pointed, she spotted a female wolf washing a car. Seeing the woman smile and wave at them she knew it had to be his mother. She smiled too, but all of a sudden her stomach felt as if it were doing summer saults, suddenly she was very very nervous. What if Dea's parents didn't like her? And if it turned out that she was meant to be his mate, what would be their reaction?
