A New Discovery (BlisteredBlood)

Cyrus would then chuckle in a lighthearted manner before shaking his head as he saw Sya turn her head away from him with a heavy blush on her face. To be honest, he always found it so adoringly funny that human women could be so shy sometimes. It must've been almost built into them to be as such, he thought as he then placed his hands down by his hips once again before smiling at her once more. "Don't get me wrong Sya, I would've let you look anyway. Just to give you something to think about if you ever feel curious." He spoke again, winking at her in a playful way as he then headed back into the parlor once more then settled himself down on the couch.

Sye was trying to stop blushing. It was hard to since the thought of stripping Cyrus of his robes would not leave her mind. She wanted to though she would never be brave enough to try and he did just say he would not let her anyways. She then wondered of that meant he had no intrest in her at all. When he walked back out to the living room she calmed down and waited till most of the blush was gone. She was happy the medicine had started to work since she had stop coughing. She then walked out tot he living room and looked to Cyrus before asking. "What do you like to eat?" She then walked over to the couch and sat down beside him.

Judging from the look on Sya's face, Cyrus knew for certain that he might have plucked on one of Sya's nerves when he spoke to her being able to look into his robes if she so wished, chuckling at the fact that she was trying her hardest to hide her blush completely from him. Once in the parlor and back down on the couch once again, Cyrus looked over to SYa with the same smile on his face as he was asked if he wanted anything to eat. Cyrus would only shake his head at the offer before holding up a hand to her. "I appreciate the notion m'lady, but I don't need anything at the moment. Besides, I can always go out and hunt for my own meal later on. I do hope you'll understand." He answered before looking up to her once again with a smile still present on his face.

Sya smiled and nodded then said "I understand. So what do you like to do when your not hunting?" she was not sure how to word her question so she left it hat that hoping he could answer her. She wanted to get to know him but was now sure what to ask him and she was not sure if he was going to want to ask her questions as well.

"Well, I try to keep busy in my cave when I assume my human form, sorting things out there, keeping things nice and tidy over there, and once that's done - after I get some furniture for it, anyway - I like to relax in a lake where I relax for a while. I say to you again, Sya. I simply must implore you to try swimming in a lake at this time of year. It's truly invigorating." He added with a generous look on his face.

"But it will be cold and i don't have a swim suit." Sya said then thought about Cyrus in the lack she doubted he had swimming trunks witch would mean he went in the lake naked. This thought made her blush lightly now knowing if it was true or not but she secretly hoped it was true. She looked away from Cyrus as she tried to stop thinking like that she did not know the dragon well enough to be thinking about him like that.

"Don't tell me you've never swam in a body of water completely naked, Sya!" Cyrus answered, looking at her dead in the eyes with a surprised look on his face. Surely, all humans have done it all the time, haven't they? At least, that was what he thought they did anyway. "You absolutely have to sometime! I'm telling you, it's a thrill!" He added, sounding completely serious about it as if it was the greatest thing in the world.

"not many humans do that and when they do its usually with a lover." Sya said blushing at the thought of being out in the lake naked. She was not sure what to say. She had never thought of doing something like that. "Anyways wont it be cold to be in the water naked and what about fish?" She was not sure what was in the lake and really she was not sure she wanted to know but she also wanted to try just because of how Cyrus talked about it.

"That's the thing, Sya. It's an empty lake, the water temperature is just right and there's no one around to bother us. Besides, it'll be fun." Cyrus answered with a reassuring tone of voice while smiling at her as well before sitting up and gently grasping her hand in his own. "Besides, it must be a pain to be all cooped up in a place like this all alone with nothing to do and no one to share those happy moments with." He added, his tone suggesting that he was actually feeling bad for her.

"well i cant know not well im sick i might get worse i will when im better." She then looked down at there hands with a smile. She was not sure what he meant when he said us when it came to the lake was he hinting at them bathing together. This though made her blush.

"Fair enough. When you're feeling much better Sya, we'll make it a date. Besides, I want you to experience everything there is to enjoy." Cyrus answered with a smile and a nod of his head before leaning back onto the couch, shifting himself around from side to side a bit as he laid there. "In the meantime, you go ahead and get some rest. You'll need it." He then directed, his tone taking on a bit of a firm tone once again.

Sya smiled and shyly moved closer to Cyrus and cuddled up to him on the couch before saying "With you here im sure ill get better soon." She was happy to have someone there she loved being alone with Prince but having someone else around felt nice. She was not sure how he was going to react to her being so close to him but it was worth trying and seeing what happened.

At first, Cyrus wasn't anticipating Sya to do much of anything at the moment, but when he felt her laying on him and cuddling up to him, Cyrus was a little bit surprised to say the least. But then again, who was he to argue with what was going through her head at the moment? With a smile on his face, Cyrus would then move one hand and laid it across Sya's back, rubbing it gently for a moment before giving out a little laugh to her.

"Regardless of which Sya," Cyrus answered, despite there was still a good humor in his voice. "You should get some rest. Whether it's on me or whatever, just make sure to close your eyes and sleep." He added, his tone sounding a little less parental this time as the smile was still ever present on his face.

"Your really comfy for a skinny guy." Sya said with a giggle then yawned and closed her eyes. "i should go to my room so you can still do things but your so comfy it makes me not want to move." She blushed a little since he did say she could sleep on him but she new that it was not right but she could not get herself to move off of him.

At first, Cyrus was a little bit wide-eyed when she referred to him as "skinny", blinking his eyes a few times before laughing a little bit in reply. "Skinny, Sya? I might be skinny, but it feels as though I could shed about an extra 20 pounds in this form. Feels somewhat discomforting for some reason or another, but I can never be quite sure of it." He answered with the same laugh then tilted his head to the side.

"If you're that sleepy, then please feel free to take a nap on me if you like. I promise to you now that you will not be bothered." Cyrus spoke once more, smiling down to Sya still.

Because Sya was sick and she was very tired she was not thinking before she spoke so some things she said were not worded the way she would like them to be. "Well your skinny body is perfect in every way im sure so do think about changing it." Sya still had her eyes closed through all of this.

Soon Sya fell sleep on the dark hair dragon. She felt so relaxed as she slept there though in her mind she new this was wrong but still there she was sleeping with out a care about what could happen.

When Sya spoke, Cyrus simply shrugged his shoulders in reply before smiling at her once again as he saw that she was beginning to doze off on him. "We'll see about that, Sya. We'll see." He answered with that same smile still present on his face, soon seeing that she was now fast asleep. Apparently, whatever medicine she took must've knocked her out pretty quickly if she was put to sleep that fast, but he wasn't going to argue about where she was laying.

As she slept, Cyrus would then lower one hand down onto Sya's back, rubbing it tenderly for a little bit then stilled his hand afterward as a thought began to work his way through his mind. Of course, he knew this was probably wrong, but then again, there was tales of dragons like himself that had fallen in love with humans before, and then there was stories of some dragons that weren't exactly so kind about the affairs of humans and dragons long ago. It wasn't exactly so surprising that things of that nature had occurred, but then again, who was to say that things of that natures still aren't happening now, provided if they were still in existence of course.

After a little more thought about the subject, Cyrus would then shake his head slowly, dispelling those thoughts from his mind. Honestly, the last thing he needed to think about was how those old folktales went. Besides, the main thing that was on his mind at present was the health and welfare of the one person he was taking care of: This young woman that was now sleeping on his body.

It was a few hours before Sya woke up. She did not move when she woke up only opened her eyes and thought about the medicine she took and wondering if she took the night stuff since it made her so sleepy. After a minute or so she moved away from Cyrus and stretched as she stood up. She then looked to Cyrus to see if he had fallen asleep or just stayed there watching her.

In the hours that passed, Cyrus laid there under Sya letting her sleep upon him. During this time, Cyrus would then look up towards the ceiling with a pensive look on his face, almost as if there was something on his mind. For one thing, he was thinking about returning home in his cave, lest there was robbers who had a thought of possibly ransacking the place and keeping it all to themselves. There wasn't much inside of it yet, but there was enough that that was considered to be his own things. But then again, Sya was his primary concern, or at least up until he saw that she was fully rested after everything that she had done to bring him here. There was no doubt in his mind that he would have to repay her for her kindness, but how?

After a little more thought had passed through his mind, Cyrus would then feel Sya begin to stir upon his form, causing him to snap out of his train of thought for now then glanced up at her with a smile on his face. "Hello again. Did you sleep well?" The hybrid spoke to her in a gentle tone of voice before reaching down to her face and placed a hand on it.

Sya started to stir after a long rest on the dragon man. She moved some then opened her eyes to see the man who was smiling at her. "yes i did. your very comfy." She said with a smile then slowly sat up and stretched. She then looked back at him and said "i hope i did not make you uncomfortable." She said softly as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She was starting to feel better what she had needed was warmth and sleep and she had gotten just that. She new she would be perfectly fine by tomorrow.

Right after he felt her begin to stir awake, Cyrus simply nodded in reply before watching Sya shift her posture around into a sitting position on his body and stretched out once again. "Don't worry about it, Sya. After all, it's not every day when I find a human wishing to lay down upon me." He commented and shrugged his shoulders with a smile on his face. On the flip side of all this, it was good to see that Sya was in much better health than she was yesterday. He hadn't been worried about things like that before, but somehow something about this woman had rubbed off on him.

Sya smiled then got off of him and stood up. She looked at the time then said "Its getting near dinner time would you like me to make you anything? Are you going to stay the night?" She hoped he would. although she did not know Cyrus, other then what they had talked about through her questions, she hoped he would stay the night she hated being alone in the house but she was sure he would want to go home to his cave and she guessed as a dragon he would not like spending time with a weak sick human.
