Angel's and Demons

Aurora moved a little closer to him. She was not sure why she did, but she felt a connection in that moment, one that drew her closer, her hand still gripping his. She had a soft smile on her lips, one that was had a look like he had to be joking with her. "Nanoki, trust me when I say if I wanted Michael dead, or stripped of his powers i could have it. You don't understand. I am the first of my kind, and God has saw fit that i hold the most power, next to him of course" She never really talked about her place in heaven before as it would be most difficult for other to understand.

He was slightly confused when she moved closer, but he held his ground not moving. The smile she wore brought one to his lips, for no other reason than it felt normal to be able to converse, joke, and smile with her. The smile stayed in place as his mind wondered if this was some sort of trick that Angels had and he never noticed it before, but he knew their powers were almost as devastating as those of some Demons he knew. "I can understand that Aurora, but I hope you can understand that as long as I'm here and you're staying here I will let nothing happen to you if I can help it." he responded before he could stop himself.

"I know that you may not want him dead, yet I do and if it means I have to go through all the legions of Angels to do so I will try." Gently he touched her cheek continuing by saying "No one has given me a reason to give it all I have, but one day it may be possible that I need to. However until the war ends it will always be either a Demon killed or an Angel, and either of those options aren't acceptable." For an unknown reason he lightly kissed her cheek before pulling away and smiling again.

Aurora drew a deep breath she knew she didn't have it in her heart to kill Michael. "I hope you understand though that even though i might not agree with Michael or the others they are still my family. They all I have ever known, and i guess i just don't have the heart to kill them." She bit her lip. She didn't know if he understood after all the Angels have attacked him so much.

When she felt his hand press against her soft cheek her cheek pressed against it. Wanting to feel more than of his hand. But then he kissed her cheek and she closed her eyes for just a moment. She had never felt anything like it before. It seemed to tingle on her skin, but yet she wanted to feel more. She leaned in just a little bit more her lips so close to his, but yet she could not bring herself to connect them. She was not sure if he even wanted her this close.

He understood the bonds, and ties to family even though he no longer had any. He still had some friends that were like family, but they were not his family. "I understand completely, so I'll compromise with you. As long as Michael stays away and doesn't try to attack anyone here I won't bother with him, but if he comes looking for either one of us or anyone else I know there will be problems." Nanoki answered softly.

Nanoki had meant the kiss as an older sibling would, however her reaction caught him completely off guard. He wanted to feel her lips against his, but he was worried that if he got too attached to her even though she was an Angel that something would happen to her. Her being an Angel meant that she could do things normal people couldn't, but he wondered if their powers would do anything against a bullet or knife. Slowly he lightly pressed his lips to hers, and he rationalized to himself that she would have to know how to kiss in case she found someone she fell in love with.

Aurora was happy that he would not make any out right attacks on Michael unless he started it. But she knew after her last encounter with Michael that he was running scared so they had at least a little while before he would even consider showing his face again.

She looked into his eyes a moment then she felt it. He kissed her. With in seconds of their lips coming together it was like a lightening bolt was racing down her spine. A connection, or spark was felt for him in the moment, she wondered if he felt it to. It was so odd, but yet powerful at the same time, urging her to kiss him, to keep kissing him. Her lips moved against him, it was soft at first but then deepened.

The least he could do for her was to leave Michael alone, at least until he decided he was going to start problems. Nanoki had no idea when it would be, but he knew he would have to be ready when ever it did happen. Until then he would try to enjoy the quiet time, and would enjoy the time they had without fighting.

His eyes went from cobalt to crystal blue as he relaxed even more, but some where he was still concerned about how easily she had banished Michael earlier. Their lips had been connected for a matter of seconds when he felt something he had never felt before, but the only thing he could equate it to was the power he felt from Michael's blade when he was struck. Except this was something else entirely, yet it was more pleasant. As they continued to kiss his fingers ran ever so gently through her hair, for a moment he was confused but slowly kept pace with her until his tongue brushed across her lips.

Aurora hand came up to touch his cheek. Her thumb gently rubbing as she continued kissing him. She never felt anything like this. Deep down she wanted more, she wanted to feel more. For a moment she just thought it was lust, but she knew it was more, it was like the events of the day were meant to happen. Meant to bring them together. She felt his tongue touch her lips and she parted them letting her own tongue meet his.

Smiling softly as her hand made contact with his cheek he felt content, but somewhere deep inside it seemed as if something more was going on. Something had him wondering what would have happened if he had taken his normal route to his volunteer work, yet he didn't know why he went this other way today of all days. Nanoki forced his mind to stop running, and to just feel what was happening as her tongue met his there was nothing in the world except them. After a few moments he pulled back half an inch murmuring "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me."

Aurora pulled back when he did but she didn't pull from. Her lips were redder now from kissing and she smiled at him. "don't be sorry, I'm not. that was wonderful" she admitted to him. She looked into his eyes a moment. "It felt right Nanoki, like we ere suppose to be here right now in this moment like we are." She drew a deep breath she hoped he would a agree. she hoped they could do that again.

Lightly he pressed his forehead against hers, so he could think a moment but he really just wanted to kiss her until he could kiss her no more. Her words brought another smile to his lips, because he felt the same way even though this felt way more intense than anything before. Except for when he was with Aki, yet then if all felt right as if everything in the world meant nothing. Which was the way he was feeling now with Aurora, but he was weary of it this time since it had been too many years of fighting and with Angels.

She grabbed both his hands and held them in hers as their foreheads rest against each other. "I am not going to hurt you, I hope you will come to trust me, but i know it hard with what my kind has done to you." She whispered softly to him. She didn't know what else to say to make it ok for him.

Gently, Nanoki squeezed her hands with a soft smile, trying to reassure her as well as himself. It will take a little while, but it can be done. The last part of her statement was truer than she knew, yet the only real problem he saw was the fact that Michael was still out there. If he found out that they had gotten together he wondered what that would mean for her, would she be deemed a traitor or what would happen. He voiced this concern as well "What if someone like Michael found out that you were with me, what would that mean for you?" Before she had a chance to respond he kissed her tenderly adding "Think of that before it becomes a reality, could you deal with the repercussions of something like that?"

Aurora bit her lip a moment she didn't think of what it could mean if she was found out. But then it hit her what did it matter "it might mean I could never go back but I am ok with that. I haven't felt so alive in thousands of years. I had forgotten what was to happy. It all worth it to me but what about you?"

He sat silently waiting for her response Nanoki smiled softly, but he wondered what would really happen if she were found. Especially if she were found in love with him, yet they would deal with it as it came. "I see, the only other question I have is would you be willing to deal with any or all of the Angels that may come after us for this?" he asked softly, and brought her hand to his lips kissing it lightly.

Aurora looked down. She knew that if they attacked her it might come down to her hurting them. "as much as i don't want to hurt them, i will if i have to. I can't go back there, Not after seeing what i have seen so far, not after i want to know, and certainly not after meeting you. My heart couldn't bare it." Aurora bit her lip. "what about you, could your kind come after you for being with me, could they shun you?"

"I know you don't want to hurt them, but if they attack we'll have no choice. If I have to kill them to protect you I will, and even though I don't want to hurt you if it has to happen I will do it." he replied. "As for the demons many of them that I've met knew my parents and grandparents. Many demons have mixed blood and relationships, so I think we'll be safe as long as we can hide the fact that you're an Angel for a while." Nanoki kissed her softly adding "I personally don't care what they think. If they attack I'll deal with them as well."

Aurora was glad that his kind would be more open to their relationship. "well good." she said softly She kissed his cheek. "cause i wasn't about to go any where." She said with a giggle she was trying to lighten the mood. "I have a lot to learn about this place, i mean i don't even know how to cook on anything but an open flame." She was teasing him a little leaving out that she wanted to be here cause of him.

He chuckled softly, and said "I would hope you weren't going any where for a while at least." He didn't want her to go anywhere at any time, but he knew that if she wanted to leave it was her descision. There would be very little he could do to stop her. As she leaned in to kiss his cheek he leaned into her, and wrapped his arms around her for a moment to just hold her. Since Aki had passed Nanoki had not given himself a chance to get close to anyone except friends if even then.

Aurora smiled. "Oh it won't be for a long while, if ever, i think i am going to like it here...with you" she kissed his cheek and then rested her head on his shoulder wrapping her arms around his waist. "I hope you can stand to keep me around forever" she said as she yawned. It was the first time since she was mortal since she yawned her body never required sleep, but no here on earth her body was changing.

As her head rested on his shoulder Nanoki couldn't help but lean his head down to lightly kiss her neck, and he wondered if she could stand him forever. "Do you think you'll be able to stand me forever?" he asked teasingly. Carefully he picked her up and carried her into the bedroom where he laid her on the bed, and softly kissed her lips once more. "I wish you the sweetest dreams, and I will see you in the morning." Slowly he pulled away from her and started for the door because he didn't want anything to happen, at least until they knew each other a little better and she was ready for it.

"I would never get sick of you." She smiled as he kissed her neck. It felt wonderful, every thing he did felt wonderful. She suddenly giggled when he picked her up. Her arms wrapped around his neck. She was a little shocked when he started to leave. She grabbed his hand."stay, if your worried about something I am to tired." She laughed

Turning back to her he smiled lightly, and wondered if it would be alright but he took her word for it. Slowly he laid beside her, and he wrapped his arms around her. Nanoki was still unsure of it, but he would stay with her for the night. "Are you sure you'll never get sick of me?" he asked teasingly. Slowly he interlaced his fingers with hers smiling softly at her, and curled up next to her tenderly.

Aurora smiled when he choose to lay down with her. She pulled back the covers then once he was in bed she covered them both. She snuggled up against him. He would be able to feel every curve of her womanly body against his. She breathed in and sighed. She was happy now. "I would never ever grow sick of you. Plus I am glad that you stayed. I was a little scarred. I haven't slept since i died, and well i don't know what my dreams will bring"

Feeling her pressed against him brought a small sigh, but he knew that this would all be interesting. Their life together may not be an easy one, yet he could care less since everything felt right. "I was teasing you Aurora." he murmured quietly into her ear. "Dreams can be scary, but in the end they are only dreams. Which means there is nothing to worry about."

Aurora sighed softly. "If only that were true" she paused a moment she didn't want to tell him for him to feel bad for her, but she wanted to tell him to be honest with him. "I was killed by my people because I had odd dreams. Dreams that seemed to come true, and in my time it was no very well excepted."
