Angel's and Demons

"But why are you afraid, what is so wrong with were you came from?" Aurora didn't want to push him but she did not want to know. She thought at first that maybe it reminded him of his parents but she now thought it might be more than that. She didn't know though if it was information he would ever share with her.

"My parents were murdered when I was a child, and there was nothing I could do about it. Michael started it, and after that time I ran to save myself. I watched them be murdered, and ran afterward so I'm just a bit worried I may not be able to handle going back." He shrugged for a moment before wrapping his arms around her, and he held her silently for a few moments.

Aurora wrapped her arms around him. She kissed his lips gently. "You may be able to go back you have to remember you won't be going back a lone. I will go with you, and who knows maybe just bring some happiness back to the place you grew up might be enough for you to stay there." she tried to be hopeful and positive.

Nanoki wrapped his arms around her, and held her close to his body. When her lips met his Nanoki smiled, but returned her kiss as gently as she gave it. "I understand love, but I don't even know what I will find. However I know that as long as you're here everything will work out for the best, and I know one way or another we will find our own happiness soon enough." he replied with a soft smile.

Aurora smiled "of course we will. I know no matter what we will be happy." Happy thoughts filled her head, like having a home with, maybe children some day, just being together though was enough for.

"As long as we're together I know we'll be happy, but there may be bumps in the road to our happiness. However we'll overcome them I'm sure." he replied lightly, but he knew that what he said was the truth. Nanoki also knew that they would face what ever they has to, and they would make a life for themselves no matter what. As long as they were together, and she was happy he would be as well.

"I'm sure we will. I mean every couple goes through that." She smiled softly "We should get some rest so we are not tired for our future." Aurora said with a little laugh. She kissed him deeply before she snuggled up against him. "I love you" She said with a yawn.

"I don't know about you, but I can't really say that all couples go through things like this." he replied with a chuckle. "We have all the rest of time for our future, but I understand you're tired and I could use some sleep myself." Nanoki added with a slight yawn as he kissed her deeply and lovingly, and he held her close cuddling up to her replying "And I love you as well."

Aurora fell a sleep in his arms, but it was restless sleep. She tossed and turned most of the night. everything going on was eating at her on the inside. and then in her dreams she saw it, Michael killing Nanoki. She watched the whole thing unfold in her dreams. She screamed in her sleep tears rolled down her cheeks as her nightmare played in her head.

With a content sigh he fell asleep holding her close, but his dreams kept returning to the day his parents were killed. Some time in the middle of the night he awoke with a start, and he kept seeing Michael standing over him laughing triumphantly. Blinking his eyes a few times he looked around seeing his bedroom, but Aurora's scream brought his head around quickly and he saw her tears. Gently Nanoki laid his hand on her shoulder as his head leaned down and he murmured to her "Aurora my love. Wake up, you're having a bad dream." He was worried about what she was dreaming, but he had an idea since it seemed he woke to the image of his own death.

Aurora awoke startled by nanoki's voice. She sat straight up pushing past him. Tears streaming down from her eyes as she looked around the realizing it was a vision. She looked and saw Nanoki there and her arms wrapped around him tightly and she cried."You can't go after Michael he will kill you this time"

Quickly he moved away from Aurora so she could move without problems, but her words stopped him short as his eyes unfocused and the painful vision that woke him up was brought back into his vision. His eyes drifted closed as he replayed the vision in his mind, but with every strike made against him and every wound inflicted he winced. It seemed that he could feel each strike, and he could feel each wound. Nanoki sighed as he wrapped his arms around her, and he gently rubbed her back to help her calm down yet something was off. He knew about dream walking, yet this was something else and he was a bit confused. "I will not let you go alone, nor will I let anything happen to you..." he replied softly, but he was a bit worried about what he had seen.

Aurora pulled away quickly shaking her head. "He is pissed at you, I could see it, I could feel it. He doesn't hold back this time, he is going to kill you, you can't go, You can't. Swear to me that you won't" Her eyes locked on his, hers still filled with tears and she was pleading with him. "Please Nanoki, i couldn't bear it if he hurt you, please."

He had not run from a fight since he was a child, but it seemed she wanted him to do so now. "He doesn't hold back this time..." her words piqued his eyebrows. "Since when has he been holding back? When ever we fight he's always trying to kill me, but there's no way he could before so what's new now?" he said aloud not really asking her but currious. Michael had always been serious when they fought, and so had Nanoki the question now was how could Michael not have been serious in fighting him, and even when Michael had nearly been eliminated by his hands.

Aurora wasn't entirely sure why Michael had not killed him before. He was certainly powerful enough to have taken out Nanoki before. "The only thing i can think of is that he likes torching you." She said softly she couldn't think of any other reason. But that thought made her sick to her stomach. That her brother would act like that.

"Hmmmm... As I see it, there are two things that come to my mind. One being that he does enjoy torturing me, since I'm merely a worthless demon that doesn't deserve to live. The second thing that come to mind, especially after I nearly ended his existence once before, is that maybe he's not as powerful as he tries to make others believe he is." he replied slightly coldly, yet his analytical mind had kicked in and he was now thinking as the fighter he was raised to be. Nanoki went over all the battles the two of them had fought, but this time he was looking for flaws and weaknesses he had not found before.

Aurora just sighed softly. "I don't know. But I will stop him." she mumbled to herself. She couldn't stand the thought of him even getting a scratch from Michael. She leaned against him needing him beside her. Needing to know he was safe, the imagines in her dream were so real, if he was not right here beside her she would have to think she was dreaming.

After a few moments he thought he had found something, but as ale leaned against him Nanoki decided to keep it to himself. Worrying about it right now would do them no good, so he pulled her close and held her quietly. He wished he could make her forget what she had seen, yet there was no way he knew of doing something like that. After a moment he smiled and misdeed her lightly holding the kiss, and after he decided it was enough he murmured "Just relax and forget about it for the time being love."

Aurora drew a deep breath and sighed softly. "I can't" She said to him being honest with him. she clung so tightly to him, never wanting to let him go. Over and over in her mind thought what if this was the last time they were together. She didn't know what tomorrow would bring for them.

"Listen to me. If you go against Michael like this..." he dared not finish his statement because he could not bear to think of it. "You have to calm down and forget everything except what you have to do. Rushing into a fight especially one with a psychopath like Michael, and not being focused on what you need to do causes problems. So relax and forget about everything except for us in this moment, and that way everything will be fine. Besides in order to fight you need sleep, but don't worry I won't go anywhere." Nanoki told her then he leaned down to place a light kiss on her neck.

It was tough for her set aside her fears. After all she was killed in mortal life for the reason that her dreams always came true. But he was right though she needed to rest if she was going to fight with her brother tomorrow. Maybe this time it would be different she would be changing the out come herself. "I will try my love" She said softly to him as she kissed his lips.

His mother had told him once before, all too long ago that premonitions were merely glimpses of the future. She had also told him that they had the chance to be true, unless someone did something about it to change the outcome. 'Okaasan could you possibly have seen something like this that long ago?' he asked his mother even though she would not answer. Returning her kiss Nanoki leaned back onto the bed pulling her with him, so they could at least lay quietly if not sleep before having to deal with her brother.

Aurora laid back down pulling the blanket around them. She wasn't sure she could sleep but she was tried to at least rest her eyes. She snuggled closely to her. Her head resting on his shoulder. her arm draped across his stomach. "I love you she whispered softly"

He smiled gently and replied "I love you too Aurora." Nanoki held her close with his arms wrapped around her, and closed his eyes as he silently thought about his mother. He wondered for a moment what she would have taught him, and what his father may have taught him had they lived. Tears quietly fell from his eyes for a moment, but something else occured to him as well. The thought that cut off his remenicing, was if they were still alive would he be here with Aurora right now?

For the rest of the night all Aurora could do is just rest her eyes. She was a afraid to go back to sleep, afraid of what she might see. When the sun began to rise in the sky Aurora too rose. She slowly climbed out of bed and put her dress back on. She smiled at Nanoki wanting him to rest and then walked out to the balcony to watch the sun rise in the sky.
