The hollow heart still bleeds... (Jugger82)

Nathan sighed and knew he had nowhere else to take the girl. He stood up with her in his arms and he looked toward the sky before he teleported to the soul society.

---

When he arrived, he made sure to arrive in his room. He laid her down on his bed and frowned as he watched her. He sat against the door and watched her and awaited for her to wake up.

She didn't move an inch the whole time he'd moved her. Had she known where he was taking her though, she would probably have panicked a little. She didn't want to die. Not again, and not after finding Nathan again...

Her eyes opened about an hour later. She took in a sharp breath, and she sat up, holding her head. She froze, and her hand felt her face. Her face. She looked up and saw Nathan. "Nathan... I'm so glad you're okay." She said. She went to stand, but apparently was not ready for that, as she stumbled and ended up practically landing in his lap. "Still okay..." She said, rubbing his arm. She cared more for him than herself, it seemed.

Nathan rubbed his arm too. It still ached from when he had to dislocate it.

Nathan- Fine, what about you? Are you alright?

He picked her up and sat her on the bed. He sat next to her and looked at her with a cheerful smile.

Nathan- I'm so glad I got to see you again...I was miserable after you died...in fact...I think this is the3 first time I've smiled in a long...long time...not since my first hollow kill...

She nodded to him. "My head hurts... but I'll be okay." She said to him. She managed a smile back at him as he smiled to her, but her smile faded, replaced by a frown. She bit her lip. "I'm sorry, Nathan... I shouldn't have done what I did..." She said softly, not at all happy to know she caused him pain. She leaned against him gently, and hugged him. "Nathan... I can't ask forgiveness from you... I've caused you pain... and even now, I know I harmed you..." She said to him, rubbing at his shoulder. She looked ready to cry again.

Nathan held her with his good arm as his bad one laid a bit limp at his side.

Nathan- No no...its fine...you being back, I'm just glad you're back with me...you being back has been the best thing to happen to me since you died...

He smiled and kissed her temple.

Nathan- You're going to have to stay here in my room until further notice....They don't know I snuck you here.

She felt warmth bloom in her as he hugged her. It was the little things that made a world of difference to her. She looked up at him and smiled a little once more. "Then I shall stay as long as you want me." She replied, nuzzling against his shoulder. She nodded. "I figure... Even so, I hope they don't feel me out..." she said. She clung to him a bit, her grip rather surprisingly strong.

Nathan- Ow ow...less grip please...

He moved her arm a bit off his bad arm and thought for a bit.

Nathan- I can't do barriers...just that little fire trick I did on you and its not even that good. Just...hm......

He looked her up and down and looked at her bare stomach. He snapped his fingers and went into his closet and pulled out a spare Soul Reaper garb. He gave it to her.

Nathan- Welcome new recruit.

She gasped and immediately let up on him, whimpering. "Sorry..." She said. She looked at him as he thought of a way to conceal her. A soft blush came to her as he looked her over, but she took the garb.

She smiled a little bit, and giggled. "Mmm, welcome indeed." She said softly, standing and sliding the garb on. As she did, parts of her outer skin that was covering her slid away, giving him an eyeful if he was looking. She frowned. "Mmm, can't get rid of my horns..." She said softly. "I hope they're okay with someone odd like me..."

Nathan- Eh, you'll be fine. I heard we used to have a cat creature thing before, though he always wore this bucket on his head or something...Iunno.

He walked over and smiled at her.

Nathan- Sable, its been far too long. I'm so glad to have you back...I thought I lost you forever. Cmon, you must be starving.

[ehehe, I remember that guy]

She shrugged. "Allright then." She said simply. She stretched out a bit, and gently took one of his hands a moment. "I'm glad to be back. And... well, mostly me." She replied with a nod. She looked down, her stomach growling as if on cue. "Hm... I guess so..." She replied to him with a nod, going with him.

(Sorry comp was really laggy so I restarted it and it was messing up a bit on the startup.)

Nathan smiled and pulled her gently along toward the cafeteria. He showed her the wide buffet of food.

Nathan- Soul Reapers can eat whatever they want and how much they want. Though uh...there's no souls here if thats what you can eat because you're well....an arrancar.

He whispered to her.

She looked around at the buffet. It was so... huge! She looked to him and smiled. "I think I'll be fine without." She said simply. She went and got a little bit of everything, it seemed. She was quite hungry. Souls didn't really appeal to her now. That hunger was gone, but she needed a good meal to restore her energy.

Nathan didn't get anything. He just followed her and felt the peering eyes of other soul reapers looking at him. He felt a bit odd standing next to a new recruit actually talking to someone. He had been usually a lone wolf, it was odd to see him talking to others.

She slowed down after a bit, and went to sit down with him. She smiled and began to eat. "mmm, not hungry?" She asked him simply. She was aware of the stares, as a horned and hoofed woman was not exactly common. Most of the soul reapers were completely human.

Nathan- I'm fine, really. Just go ahead and eat. You must be starving.

He sat back and watched her eat. He ignored the stares from the others and kept on with a conversation with Sable.

Nathan- Maybe you can join my squad...well, it'll just be us if that happens.

She smiled to him and continued to eat. "mmmm, I think I'll try, at least. Which squad are you?" She asked simply. She finished off the food after a few minutes, seeming clearly happy with it. She smiled. "Mmmm, what now?" She asked him. She stook. "Maybe show me around?"

(Gotta go. I'll get back to you tomorrow. I'm really enjoyin this RP)

Nathan- Squad four. And I'll be happy to. Though...I'm not really sure how to get around either. I've always locked myself in my room and focused on my spiritual energy to keep it in balance. I've become kind of a loner...but thats probably going to change now.

He smiled and kissed her cheek but upon that happening there were many gasps from the crowd but htey seemed as if they were still eating. Nathan looked back but didn't react to anything about it.

[arrite, 'till then!]

Sable nodded and smiled. "That's right, I'm gonna be your shadow now." She said playfully to him. She smiled, and kissed his cheek in return and gave him a soft hug, making sure to not bother his injured arm. She relaxed with a grin on her face. "Then perhaps we should just go back and relax, hm?" She asked. She really didn't seem to mind that others were watching.

Nathan- Relax huh? Eh, I guess so. The job for that uh...hollow...earlier was supposed to be my last job for the day. Ready whenever you want Sable.

He leaned back in the chair and waited for her, but he kept a friendly smile on his face the whole while.

She nodded simply. "Well, it's a good thing you dealt with it." She replied with a small grin. She stretched a moment, then relaxed, and stood. "Shall we return now?" She asked, waiting for him to lead.

Nathan nodded and stood up. He stretched a bit before smiling and taking her hand as he led her back to the apartment room. When inside, he sat down on a chair and looked at her.

Nathan- Rest as much as you want Sable. I'm here for you today.

She smiled and took his hand happily, walking with him back to the room. She sat on the bed and smiled. "Thank you Nathan, I really appreciate it." She said. She laid out on the bed and relaxed, but didn't sleep. She just looked over at him. She was happy to be back with him.

Nathan rested back in the chair and relaxed. The silence was kind of nice but it was getting a bit awkward.

Nathan- So...uh...huh...thought I'd have some more stuff to talk to you about but...Hm...

She looked over to him and smiled faintly. "Hmm, so how have you been doing all these years? I mean, surely you didn't go and hide under a rock after what happened to me..." She asked him. She sat up a little, moving some of her hair out of the way.

Nathan- Uh...thats pretty much it. During the year I was alive and you were dead I kinda...well I kinda didn't care for anything whatsoever. When I became a soul reaper, my first priorities were to kill all hollow before anything else. I still didn't talk to anyone....
