Name: Sable Lansing
Age: Unknown, can't really say she's aged
Gender: Female
Image: "Bound" unmasked hollow form. The bone spurs and whatnot will probably be retractable, and her form will be sealed in the scythe, though she will still maintain the horns and some of the inhuman characteristics. I will describe her hollow form when we get there, but know it will be somewhat similar to her non-bound form, just more monstrous.

Extras: Obviously, killed by Hollows and was changed into one herself.

How long had it been? Long. Too long in her opinion. Who was she...? Hard to remember sometimes beneath the intense, eternal hunger. "S-... Sable..." She said, her own name feeling foreign on her own tongue. She stood, the bone spurs ridging her back, each one curving around to her front, ending in a wicked foot-long spines, arching and stretching as she did. She licked her lips, tasting the mask on her face as well as her own lips. So hungry...

She was a sight to behold. Roughly 9 feet in height, she was about as humanlike as most Hollows could get. She was covered in dark gray bone spurs, and what looked to be a cloak was draped over her shoulders, covering part of her form. She was still distinctly female, though. Her mask was a mockery of a skull, with red streaks running under the eyes like bloody tears.

She perked a moment as she sniffed the air and felt. "Mmmm, a soul... and so... tasty..." She said, beginning to lurk around, suppressing her power to make herself seem weak.

Name- Nathan Stone
Age- 23

Other- Minus the wings in his image. He has no Bankai yet and is devoted to killing all Hollow.

Nathan received word of a hollow's presence appearing on his sector of Earth. Grumbling, he descended down to Earth from the Soul Society. He unsheathed his zanbakto, a small sword with a blood-red blade. He began to look around in search of the hollow. Ever since he lost someone dear to him to a hollow, he made sure to find any hollow and wipe them out before they could take anyone out.

Soon Nathan came to the park area. Nothing still. He felt no presence of a hollow and wondered if it was a fake. He sat down on a swing and began to have flashbacks of his best friend before she was killed.

She stalked quietly for having a form so large. She sniffed the air again, and grinned. So good smelling...

She finally saw the source. Now who was this...? He felt odd to her. If she had still possessed a heart, it would have been racing. She watched, stunned a moment, and then gave in. Rage, pain, hunger, sadness, all these and more raged to the surface, and her spiritual pressure exploded as she bounded towards him, teeth bared, spines bristling as she let out a savage roar, partly challenge, partly to terrify and surprise her opponent.

Her eyes were fixated on him. What he was didn't cause her fear. All she knew was her hunger now, the hunger that would never be sated.

Nathan heard the pulsating roar and jumped up and was knocked out of his daydreaming. He grabbed his zanpakto and looked around and saw a large creature rushing at him. It seemed familiar. Too familiar. He knew what she was but he couldn't believe it. He thought a hollow was tempting his heart. Enraged, he matched the roar with one of his own as he rushed toward the creature and jumped high into the air to meet its head. He brought his sword high into the air but something caused him to drop his sword. A memory. He was now defenseless and floating in the air, slowly coming to earth.

His returning roar got her blood stirring, and she bristled, prepared to meet his attack, her spines preparing to divert his blade...

It never came. She reached out, grasping the Reaper by his clothing. She paused a moment, and let out a feral growl. He smelled so good... but she couldn't. She couldn't! Her jaws wouldn't open to consume this tasty treat, who had all but delivered himself to her! She was very distressed by this, thrashing about, but any time any part of her got close, it froze. All she could do was hold him, and stare at him with a fiery intensity.

"Why..." She said, out loud, her voice seeming on the verge of tears.

Nathan couldn't let his guard down anymore. Now he was on the verge of death if he didn't try anything. He was struggling to get his arm free. Just one arm to cause an ability to make the hollow drop him. Soon he managed to, but in doing so he had to dislocate his arm. He cried out in pain but quickly put it back. He raised it weakly.

Nathan- Fire!

A small burst of fire shot out of his palm and went toward the hollow and scorched the cheek. It wasn't strong, but it would pinch. He hoped it'd make the hollow drop him.

(Sorry, forgot what they called the specials in Bleach that they do without the swords.)

[Kido, I believe.]

She roared in agony as the flame hit her cheek. She did indeed drop him, and stumbled back, hissing in pain, smoke trailing off her mask. She glared at him. No, not even now, after that pain... she couldn't attack. Her mind was in chaos, and without warning, a single word escaped her.

"Nathan..." She said, her voice soft spoken, untainted by the hollow beast. And then, he witnessed what probably no reaper had ever seen: The hollow before him wept. Tears streamed from the holes in the mask, and an agonized sob came from her. This hollow was strange, showing emotion as it did. It was shaking with agony, but even so, it moved to prepare for him if he should come after her.

Nathan's eyes widened at the hollow's word. He had gotten up at the time and he slowly backed away. He was now afraid to kill this hollow. Though he wanted to slay it and get this over with, he wondered why he couldn't do it. HE knew this was not the girl he knew before. He knew that it was just another hollow, and he had to slay it. But he wondered why he couldn't bring himself to. He looked for his sword in a panic.

She was surprised that he'd reacted to her word. His... name, perhaps? How did she know it? She shivered again and roared, the feelings of frustration and fear present in the terrifying noise. She clenched her fists, claws digging into her own body. She couldn't flee, or attack. What was she to do? Her mind sharpened a moment again.

"H-Help... Nathan..." She whimpered, the voice scared now. "I don't want to-" Her voice was cut off by a scream of agony tearing from her own throat. Was she losing her mind? Gaining something? She felt so much... more, but still in pain.

Nathan- !!

He stumbled back upon hearing what the hollow said. Could it really have been her? He got up and looked for his sword. When he saw it in the ground, he didn't go for it but made a mental note for it. HE looked at the hollow before slowly walking over to it with his arms raised outward to show he wouldn't try anything.

Nathan- S-Sable...? Is...Is that you?

Barely holding onto her own mind at the moment, she dropped to her knees, again sobbing loudly, large drops of tears sliding to the ground. She was visibly shaking, even from a distance. Her gaze went to him as he began to approach her. She didn't know what to make of it, but she still couldn't bring herself to move. Her bone spurs shivered as if in warning, but even they slowly went still.

And she heard her name. His voice... and her own name... As he got closer, she quivered, claws digging into the ground. Even as small as she was, to have such a terrifying hollow on her knees crying... it was pitiful. She blinked, and if he looked into the eyes, he wouldn't see the pinprick red of the hollow's eyes. There were eyes there, real, beautiful green eyes- Sable's eyes, terrified. "N-Nathan..." She gasped, her voice seeming to barely escape now.

(Sorry for that sudden leave)

Nathan walked over and embraced the hollow in a hug, though he felt sort of awkward doing it. A soul reaper hugging a hollow was never heard of. He made sure if anything were to happen then he'd be ready.

Nathan- Its okay Sable....I'm here....W-What happened to you...you're a hollow...its been so many years...so many...

['tis ok, I'm patient]

It is said that a Hollow's hunger is never sated, that it needs to eat as part of their very being. This, though... the very act that he was doing, a simple hug, shattered her world. Her breath caught. She felt ready to suffocate. Even then, though, her arms, large, clawed, and terrible, came up, and embraced him, the tears streaming from under the mask dripping onto him.

"Nathan..." She said again. She tensed, and buried her face in his shoulder. Hunger was forgotten. Rage, hatred, the desire to end things, all pushed from her mind as she hugged Nathan. In its place... sadness, grief, regret all appeared. "Nathan... what... have I become..." She sobbed, shaking.

Nathan frowned and could not tell her the answer. He looked away from her and backed away a bit but not far enough to look like he was cautious. He looked back at her with pitiful eyes.

Nathan- You're....a hollow....killed by one...made into one...why now...why now is it that you appear? I die and become a soul reaper soon after you and a decade later you come back as...that...

(Soul Reapers don't age I think.)

There was no resistance as he backed away from her. This was what she was. Why would he ever want to even be near her? He was... a soul reaper, and what was she? A... thing.

She shivered as he told her she was killed by a hollow. The very thought of that brought that moment to mind, the unending agony of being torn apart and devoured... She looked up at him. "I've never gone... I've been... this..." She whimpered. a hand came up to her face, and gripped her mask. "This... creature..." She finished, her hand sliding down, leaving gashes in the mask. A sickly black aura leaked out from those areas. It was common knowledge that behind the mask was the most primal part of a hollow, and to strike there would be almost certain death.

[not past a certain age, I think. Or they do so at a ridiculously slow pace]

Nathan walked over and began to feel her mask with his hand. He sighed and looked at her sorrowfully.

Nathan- I'm so sorry Sable...I couldn't save you...I couldn't save myself...I can't even kill you to put you out of your misery...Sable...forgive me...

He reached over to the side of her mask. He would turn her into something completely worse than a hollow but she'd hopefully be able to be more human and control herself more. He gripped her mask and lightly pulled on it, unsure of if he should do this.

She looked up at him as he approached again. Would he end her, and free her from the torture...?

No... he couldn't and she couldn't ask him to do that. She didn't resist him touching the mask, but as he pulled, she cried out in pain, the cry seething with her Hollow's voice. It was clearly causing her a lot of pain, but even so, she didn't raise a finger to stop him. Slowly, the mask began to part from her, the black aura seeping out from where he was making progress. She continued to cry out, taking every ounce of self control she had left to not lash out at him.

Nathan frowned and stopped pulling. He looked away before looking at the hollow again and rested a hand gently on the mask.

Nathan- I won't lose you again...please...just bare with me...Sable...

He leaned in close before placing his lips on the mouth part of the mask before he grabbed it and in one jerk, pulled the mask off.

She was sobbing again when he stopped, feeling weak and sick from the pain of her mask being pulled. But she endured. Whatever he was doing... anything would be better. "Do it... please..." she begged pitifully. Her eyes followed him. She wished she could have returned the kiss, but she could not.

Her world exploded into unbearable agony as the mask was torn from her body, the white object shattering as it was. It felt as if her soul was being ripped out again. Her body reshaped, shrinking in size, the monstrous features of her body fading away bit by bit, leaving only horns and hooves before the Sable he knew was kneeling before him, tears streaked down her cheeks. Her spiritual pressure faltered, and diminished, and she collapsed forwards, against him. A scythe lay by her side, the blade glistening with lethal promise. Even so, she was no threat.

"Nathan..." was all she could gasp out.

Nathan ran over and grasped her in his arms as he held her in his arms. He held her close and smiled at her but it was to hide the fear and sorrow for her.

Natahn- You...you're alright now...Just rest...Sable I'm so...I'm so sorry...

She was already weak, laying in his arms. "No... I'm sorry..." was all she said. Her eyes closed, and she went still. She was exhausted and in pain. She just needed to sleep it off, hopefully. She didn't want him to grieve over her. The last thing she wanted was to become his burden. Her breathing evened out. An odd thing he might notice was that the hole - which all hollows without masks had - was absent on her.

Though Nathan didn't notice the hole was missing. No, he wasn't worried for simple things like that in this time of need. He held her close and cried into her shoulder softly, rare for him because he hardly showed emotion since the incident.

Nathan- I miss you...your death...I was so lonely when you were killed...

She opened her eyes a moment as she heard him. "I'm... here now..." She said softly. "Don't be sad." She added. her voice was gentle and weak now, but definitely not hollowfied. "Just need sleep." She finished. She rested her head against him and closed her eyes, falling into a deep sleep that her body now desperately needed.

Nathan frowned and looked around. He could tell the other soul reaper captains were infuriated at what he had just done. He created one of their most deadly enemies and this one seemed different, more powerful than other arrancar. Nathan looked down and finally noticed that the hole was gone. He frowned and reached down and touched her stomach where the hole should've been.

Nathan- What the hell...?

There were no captains around. Someone might have felt the change, yes, but if they did, it would be some time before the others of the Soul Society learned. But what would they think of this Hollow? One who had shown emotion, halted herself from harming a soul reaper, and even endured blinding agony at his hands... and for what?

Her stomach was bare, and warm to the touch, and clearly free of the hole. She seemed to be almost living now, resting in his arms peacefully. Her long red hair laid out behind her head against the ground. She was still weak and vulnerable.
