Not only shouldn't you, it's also impossible!
Absolutely, though in reality you probably can't do EVERYTHING because quite a few of the choices you make cut off an alternative branching path. One of the things about this game that incentivizes multiple playthroughs is just trying to see what happens if you do Y rather than X (which you did last time). Sometime there's several possible outcomes, and sometimes just playing as a specific class utterly changes the entire experience (a bard, for example, can just change the entire playthrough - as can a Paladin because a bunch of possible actions would break your oath and they can be really.....fuzzy about what would break it). This sounds fun and I probably would also need this type of arrangement to force me to finally finish BG3. I reached the third act, and then I just stopped and continuously attempted to replay the whole game on several occasions. I just feel I want to do EVERYTHING, which ends up with me feeling game fatigue, since I guess this is a type of game you shouldn't do EVERYTHING in one go.
Yeah, and I get it. Act 3 is.........daunting. There's just so much packed into it and if you don't explore every nook and cranny you'll probably miss something. And some things you'll have missed because you did something in Act 1 or 2 that cut it off.To make it clear, I understand that's the thing about the game (been playing RPGs my whole life). I'm more specifically meaning I want to do all the quests and I have realized that it is tainting my experience, since it is a lot in comparison to other games in the same genre. I grew up playing old FF games, where you easily can do all side quests in one playthrough or two.
yes, i haven't spent much time in my inventory, hehhhh. and the other things ~ i guess i'll just have to learn as we go!Yep! There's also some inventory management stuff it'd be good to remember for later if you don't already know it. Weight winds up becoming a huge problem later on if you don't know certain things.
Not so much as 'go back' rather than 'do it' as she doesn't have Karlach.
one thing at a time, please!!Fair point. It's worth doing before the goblin camp....that and getting Karlach.
please feel free to join us!! it's very chill, and you can do it at your own pace!<3This sounds fun and I probably would also need this type of arrangement to force me to finally finish BG3. It's something many people never realize later in the game because the game doesn't make it very obvious. Then they wonder in act 3 why their character is so easily over-encumbered, but it's easy to remedy. Mostly it involves sending "camp supplies" like food, wine, and supply packs to camp instead of carrying them around.yes, i haven't spent much time in my inventory, hehhhh. and the other things ~ i guess i'll just have to learn as we go!
Sorry. Mostly just making a list so I don't forget what you've done or not done. There's a sense in which letting you just wander into the parts of the map that are still dark and stumble on stuff would be better than holding your hand through everything by explaining what happens if, say, you have Wyll in your party when you encounter Karlach for the first time vs. leaving him at camp.one thing at a time, please!!
who doesn't like shortcuts ????Yes, it's a good idea to jump into that big chasm with featherfall when you're level 2! It's a "shortcut."
probably just exploring what there is to explore and being social! It just depends on what you find the most fun for a game like this.
Or trying to jump in without featherfall just out of curiosity. After all....it worked out when you jumped in the basement or into the ancient temple!Yes, it's a good idea to jump into that big chasm with featherfall when you're level 2! It's a "shortcut."
Up to you! I'm just here to help.probably just exploring what there is to explore and being social!
I get it. I really do! That said, you can heal by literally just throwing a potion at a person XDI haven't got the knack for the combat, which I shouldn't, since I have played games like Divinity 2 and loved it. I never really understand when I need to go to the camp and recharge the spells / abilities. So, I don't know how many times I ended up with a boss fight and I have to restart the game. I think this stems from being so spoiled with games like Final Fantasy, where I can have one that just do constant healing round after round.
Then I'm wondering where they all went! But what if I never have potion on me? Lol.
