Circ Du Demon (Remake LunarWolf and GuardianAngel)

Eve looked at him and then spoke "you'll have to catch her then she is always on the move and it the first one up and the last one down for the day" Eve gave them what information she had on the woman's activities but there was little she could do besides that. Eve then looked to Avalon and then spoke "I am going to get her settled before she passes out" Eve didn't want the girl to pass out and scare everyone

Sylvan was just looking for a moment in time before he was speaking, "It will not be too hard. After all... Everybody knows that there is the job that we had posted for anybody to apply for. An assistant for us pretty much - somebody that will personally help us as needed. And during shows they will tend to the ticket booth instead of one of the other performers or even one of this. This leaves the performers to focus on their task, and leaves us to focus on making sure everything is secure and safe." There was a slight grin on his lips at that point in time - and that woman had applied for that job as well. It was an actual job that they had offered to the staff - but there was a rule of thumb with it. And that was that whoever applied had to be one of the mansion staff and only mansion staff. They couldn't be a performer.

Eve nodded and then spoke "Am I good to take Avalon back to her room so she can rest?" Eve liked Avalon the girl as she was sweet and willing to help everyone. Eve didn't know how Avalon had become so sweet given how badly she was treated by the head maid but she felt that she would make a good assistant for the pair and even said as much and that she would talk to her about applying. Eve didn't know that the head maid had been causing issues for Avalon long before the beatings had started

Phaedra was just nodding her head before she was speaking, "Yes you can take her but for the time being.... Take her to my room." No the head maid would dare go after her while she was in there, that she knew for certain. And she wanted nothing more than to make sure that she stayed safe, especially at that point in time. It wasn't long before Sylvan was stating that he would have the head maid summoned to his office so that he could talk to her about her "promotion". Demotion but she didn't need to know that. Demotion and termination. But it would definitely get her to the office rather quickly.

Eve nodded her head and then guided Avalon out of the room so that she could get her settled in Phaedras room. Avalon walked with her but it looked like she had been drained of life, like everything that was about to happen was her fault. Eve knew they would have a lot of work to do to get her to where she didn't flinch when someone got angry. Avalon and Eve walked to Phaedras room and went in Avalon sitting in one of the chairs rather then on the bed where Eve tried to put her

Phaedra was just watching them at that point in time and was waiting until she sensed them within her room before she was sending one of the other staff to go and fetch the head maid, to let her know that they were needing to talk to her about the job she had applied for. After that she was just watching as her brother was heading off to deal with it, just leaving Phaedra to stand where she was at at the time, fingers just tangled in her own hair.

Abadon walked over to her and rubbed her back "you did your best with what you knew the fact that she was undermining you both isn't your fault" Abadon could tell she was upset and he worried that she would blame herself for what had happened. Abadon then looked at Kaestae who was still sleeping and he nodded his head pleased that she was resting and allowing her body to heal

Phaedra was just looking for a moment in time before she was speaking, "I just feel like..... I failed as their employer. I was suppose to make sure that they were safe while they worked for me, I was suppose to make them feel safe and comfortable talking to me about anything. I....I felt like I displayed myself as being very easy to talk to." And it wasn't a lie. She was a very easy woman to talk to - but that also had a lot to do with high society. A noblewoman knew how to handle conversations, no matter what turn they took.

Abadon nodded his head while he listened to her letting her get her feeling out there "you are easy to talk to and I say this only because I care you and your brother can be intimidating some times especially when your working." Abadon was even intimidated by them at time and he had known them for years. Abadon guided Phaedra out of the infirmary so that she could go and settle down for the evening "I'll stay with you patient and make sure she gets some good and peaceful rest"

Phaeda was just looking towards Abadon as he was speaking to her although it wasn't long before she found herself being guided out of the room so that she could go and settle down for the night. More than likely crashing in her brother's room since he was leaving for the night so that he could get something else taken care of. And her room was currently being used - not that it bothered her at all.

Abadon didn't want her to over do it and if the Crimson king was lurking about they needed everyone rested and well. once he saw that she was rested Abadon headed back to the medical wing and settled in next to the young woman so she saw someone she knew when she woke up even if she was nervous about him. Abadon would have to show her that he wasn't a threat to her and Thant he wouldn't hurt her but for the moment he was more worried about her health

Kaestae did seem to wake up after a number of hours and just found herself looking around ever so slightly, obviously beyond confused. No she wasn't sure where she was anymore, or even what was happening. She was still terrified to say the least, and having sense the Crimson King earlier hadn't helped at all. Yet she did notice that there seemed to be somebody in the room as well. The demon prince... somebody that the Crimson King had warned was even more vicious than him.

Abadon looked at her and smiled lightly before speaking "how are you feeling" he could tell she was scared of him so he didn't get up to walk over to her as he didn't want to send her in to a blind panic as he didn't need to explain what had happened to cause it. Abadon could tell she was confused "if you have questions feel free to ask them I will answer them for you" Abadon hoped that being open and polite with her would ease her mind some and keep her calm

Kaestae was just looking at him but at that point in time she was quiet, keeping to herself. She wasn't sure if she wanted to speak... yet he was also a "master" and had asked her a question. So not answering was going to get her into trouble as well. "I...I am f...fine...." she was speaking in a soft voice, just keeping her eyes on the ground but you could definitely tell that there was a waver in her voice. She was afraid.

"you don't need to be scared little one I am not going to hurt you" Abadon looked at her and while he was glad that she was fine as she had said he was also worried that she was lying to please him and he didn't want her lying to him but he couldn't force her to tell him the truth. Abadon summoned a warm blanket and dropped it over her shoulders all with out getting up. he didn't know if she was cold or not so he wanted to make sure she stayed warm

Kaestae was a little startled by the blanket dropping around her shoulders although she did seem to be relaxing come. Perhaps it was because he hadn't gotten up and made a move to get closer. But that didn't mean that she trusted him fully yet. She was still on edge and uneasy. Yet again in her defense... she had all the right in the world to be that way. She had lived as a slave to a madman. A madman that was actively hunting her as though she was nothing but an animal. After a moment in time she did find herself questioning, not even realizing that she had spoken out loud, "I wonder why he is being so kind?"

Abadon chuckled and then spoke answering her question "I am always kind, little one you 'master' lied to you" Abadon knew saying this could cause trouble but he figured it was for the better that he speak the truth to her and let her decide what she wanted to believe. Abadon shifted a little in his seat but he still didn't get up and move closer as he wanted her to feel safe around him and not on edge. while he could tell that the warm blanket had helped her relax some he hoped that she would continue to relax as they spoke

Kaestae just listened to his words for a brief moment in time although she didn't really seem to say much of anything after that point in time, just studied him. It didn't seem as though there was an dishonesty in his voice at all, and there didn't seem to be any dishonesty in his eyes either. Perhaps he could be trusted? Perhaps he was being honest with his words. Perhaps he wasn't the one who had been lying, perhaps all of the lies had been from her master. But she wasn't truly sure either. A small breath was escaping her lips before she was speaking, "I.... I didn't m...mean to imply that you weren't u...unkind..."

"it is ok little one you have been fed lies and those lies instilled fear in to you" Abadon slowly stood making his motioned very readable so that she could see he was moving. Abadon didn't want to scare her but he did wish to move closer so that they could speak easier. Abadon headed to the chair next to her bed and then sat back down not once touching her or moving too close to her. Abadon then looked at her and smiled "you mother and father will be visiting you in the morning"

Kaestae just watched him at that point in time although she was definitely tensing up as he was moving at that point in time, just edging back a bit as though she was going to get up and bolt. There was a place to run if she needed to run, that was at least a positive, and did seem to calm her mind some. But it seemed like he was just moving closer so that they could speak more easily it seemed. "Mother... Father...." she spoke in a soft voice.

"yes they have been very worried about you and have been looking for you" Abadon had been there when they had gotten worried that she had gone missing and he had seen how devastated they were. Abadon hoped that she remembered them and that they didn't have to try and reforge that connection. He also didn't know what the Crimson King had told her or brainwashed her so he was taking things slow

Kaestae was just giving a small nod of her head although it was pretty clear that she did remember her parents, tears forming in her eyes at the thought of seeing them again. She couldn't wait to see them again, she wanted nothing more than to see them again. She had missed them for so long - the thought of getting back to them being what had helped get her through the years.

Abadon reached over and gently touched her wiping the tears from her face "they are going to be so happy your safe" Abadon knew they were more then ready to see her as he could feel the man gently asking if they could come early as they really wanted to see her. Abadon had a feeling that the poor girl was going to her hugged to death when her mother got to her as she was the one who missed her the most

There was an obvious flinch away from her as he was reaching a hand out towards her, obvious fear that she was going to be struck. Something that she was just use to, not even meaning to flinch away intentionally. All she could do was just hold the blanket to herself tightly, wondering what was going to happen now.

"I won't hurt you Phaedra would kill me if I hurt you" Abadon wouldn't hurt her period but he knew that Phaedra would kill him if he injured her especially after the woman had worked so hard to heal her. Abadon looked at her and then spoke "so what is your name?" Abadon figured that would be a safe place to start and something neutral as well giving her time to adapt to talking to him
