Sylvan was just looking for a brief moment in time before he was commenting, "He was just acting weird. Like I'm honestly a bit traumatized by what happened." Perhaps a bit dramatic but the situation had definitely taken a very strange turn that was for certain. After that Phaedra was looking towards Abadon before she was speaking, "He proposed to me. Down on knee with ring and everything. And I did the one thing that I hate to do and that was lie... I told him that I already had a pending marriage proposal." But it would at least explain why she was rejecting him, this saved her reputation from being tarnished.
 
"well you weren't technically lying to him as I am trying to set you up with someone" Abadon then looked at Kaestae "she is pretty shook up I had to sing a demonic lullaby to calm her down" Abadon then headed in to the room so that he could settle her on the bed so she could get some more rest and recover. Abadon took his time tucking her in and doing his best to make her feel safe.
 
"It was still beyond strange though!" Phaedra was speaking after a moment in time as she followed after him to the infirmary, although it seemed like Kaestae was unconscious at the time - having just given into the darkness and had fallen asleep. It wasn't long before the albino snake seemed to be returning and was slithering up Phaedra's leg so that it could join around her neck gently as though a necklace.
 
"it is strange and worrisome as well" Abadon made sure she was settled before he turned and looked at them both "I'll see what I can find out but I don't know if I aim going to be able to find much as he has done a good job of hiding himself" Abadon didn't want to leave then with out protection but he knew the two were strong and they would keep themselves and their people safe
 
Phaedra was just looking for a moment in time before she was commenting, "I am sure it was just a ploy to try and take out one powerful family under the royals. It we had gotten married I would have had to go with him to wherever. Which would would stopped Sylvan from pulling anything if he so much as threatened me at all." It wasn't a lie at all, and Abadon would definitely know that as well. With that she was just shaking her head some before she was stating that perhaps the human could give them a bit of insight whenever she woke up.
 
Abadon nodded his head "let her sleep for now she was crying earlier"Abadon didn't want to pressure the girl nor did he want to wake her and scare her. while he didn't know if she would trust him he had to hope that his actions were speaking louder then words and she would come to trust him in time. Abadon then looked at Phaedra "when you think she is good to see her father let me know I know you said tomorrow but I think she will need him sooner"
 
Phaedra was just looking before she was speaking, "At this point he could come at any point. Before I left earlier I placed a rune on her so that I could continue to heal her without being next to her. There are still some injuries but they are the more minor ones. Bruises, minor cuts, and scrapes. All of the major injuries have been taken care of." With that she was just pushing a bit of her hair out of her face.
 
Abadon nodded his head and then reached out to the man letting him know that he could come and see his daughter and if he wanted to bring his wife. Abadon could only imagine how happy they would be to see her and he hoped that helped her feel safe there and not at risk, that was if she remembered them. Abadon then looked to Sylvan "so what had you upset when I walked in to the safe room"
 
The Black King was giving a mental affirmation and stated that they would be there shortly, and from there connection was cut. He was heading off so that he could go and find his wife, to let her know the news. No he hadn't said anything to her earlier - but he had wanted to wait. While he knew that she had been getting healed things could have quickly taken a dark turn. He hadn't wanted to get her hopes up that she was still alive only for her injuries to have been that severe that even Lady Ambrose hadn't been able to help. Sylvan looked towards Abadon for a brief moment in time before he was explaining what had had him so upset when he had come into the safe room. This news had even his sister looking over with a frown before she was listening to something that her familiar was hissing at her.
 
Abadon nodded his head and then sighed "seems like someone thinks they can do what ever they want" Abadon then sent someone to get Avalon so that she could be tended to just incase the wounds were too sever and she ended up passing out. Abadon had a feeling that someone didn't like the girl and that was why they were acting out like this. it wasn't long before a tired looking Avalon arrived and stood her eyes wide seeing all three of them there
 
Sylvan was just nodding before he was speaking, "I think that it was the head maid herself. She was watching Avalon far too intently when we had arrived in the safe room." And it was a bit nice that Abadon had sent somebody to get Avalon and not one of the twins - people would be less suspicious about that. Especially since typically when he visited she was the one who was making him the drink that he liked the best. The moment that she was in the room though, Phaedra was just going over to her and seemed to be fussing a bit especially when she saw the blood that was seeping through her clothing. "What on earth happened? Who did this to you?" she questioned although her voice wasn't the same as her brother's voice. He had sounded both pissed and concerned when he had been asking. While she was purely concerned. But everybody in the mansion knew that she was never physically violent with anybody. Hell Sylvan rarely was unless he absolutely had to be.
 
Avalon shook and shook her head this had Abadon using Sylvan out of the room so that it was just the girls hoping that, that would help her feel calm her and relax more. once the men were gone Avalon spoke softly "do I need to take my shirt off?" she didn't know that Phaedra was going to heal her she assumed that she was in trouble and instead of the mead maid punishing her that her mistress was going to do it herself personally, which made her wonder what she had done to upset the woman
 
Phaedra was just looking at her for a brief moment in time after the men were leaving the room before she was speaking in a soft voice, "That would be better. It is difficult to heal injuries when I cannot see them." No she was calm at that point in time even if her eyes reflected sadness at the time, sadness for the pain that this young woman was going through.
 
Avalon n added her head and then slipped her shirt off revealing a back filled with scars from healed wounds with new ones layer over the old ones. Avalon stood still and waited for her to do her work so that she could run and hide in her room hoping that no one became mad at her from getting her back tended too. while the head maid was the main one to beat her there were staff who did their best to make her miserable
 
Phaedra was just putting a hand to her mouth in horror when she saw her back and was reaching out lightly to touch her back so that she could work on healing her. Avalon would actually be able to feel her hand trembling a bit against her back as well. "Who did this." Phaedra was speaking at that point in time, although while her voice was still soft and gentle there was more of that demanding tone to it. She wanted answers and she wanted them now. Without having to use magic to find those answers. Yes she could go through Avalon's memories but she didn't want to pry if she didn't need to.
 
Avalon flinched when she was touched and then she looked at the floor "I didn't clean the dinning room right I was punished" Avalon didn't want to say who as she was scared they would punish her again for seeking medical treatment. Avalon trembled lightly as well afraid that she would get in to more trouble. she already knew that Sylvan was mad and she could tell that Phaedra was upset as well
 
"We don't punish our staff for now cleaning properly.... We would never order that." Phaedra was speaking in a horrified voice as she focused on healing before asking who had done it. Who had dared to overstep their authority.
 
Avalon stared at the floor and wondered why she would be punished this way if the. mistress of the house said that they didn't punish for not cleaning right. Avalon waited while she healed her and once the pain was gone and she didn't feel the sensation of her skin going back together Avalon turned and slipped her shirt back on. Avalon then bowed to her "thank you mistress" Avalon didn't move from her bow as she waited to be dismissed
 
Phaedra was just looking before a moment in time before she was speaking, "Tell me who did this to you. I really don't want to have to use a more invasive method. But this isn't acceptable. This isn't okay."
 
Avalon curled back away from her almost huddling in on herself if she had been sitting she would have been curled in to a ball at that point. Avalon shook her head she didn't want to get in to more trouble and she didn't want to be punished again. while Avalon was struggling to do as ordered another servant came in and looked at Phaedra "its the head maid mistress we were all under orders to remain quiet while some of us have been hit Avalon has gotten the brunt of it." the girl walked over and hugged Avalon to her. her shirt was low enough to reveal her own scars from beatings
 
Phaedra was just looking towards her from a moment in time but she kept her temper in check. That was definitely something that she was able to do far more easily than her brother, keep her temper under wraps so that it wasn't noticeable. Although it wasn't long before another servant was coming in and telling her about what was happening, this actually had her hand going to her mouth in horror once again. How could this have been happening without them noticing at all?! And she had thought that everybody there was happy and content, considering only some complaints were brought to them. But knowing that something like this was happening... filled her with dread. It made her wonder if the reason why nobody had come to say anything to either of them.... was because in truth they weren't trusted at all.

Sylvan had been talking with Abadon in the hallway when he the other servant had entered the room. But it wasn't long before his head was snapping towards the door - picking up on his sister's dread and her anger all at once. This had him frowning and wondering what had resulted in those feelings, especially the feeling of almost.... he wasn't sure what it was. A strange sadness.
 
The servant looked at Phaedra and waited to see what she was going to do while comforting Avalon who was now hyperventilating because of the fear. "we were all told from day one if we have any complaints to bring them to her and she would take them to you, that you were both too busy to be bothered all the time by staff" the woman was fed up with the head maid as she had as far as she knew started to take people pay as well. Eve then looked to the floor before she took a deep breath and filled Phaedra in on what had been happening
 
Phaedra was just shaking her head before she was speaking, "No.... We are never too busy to hear the complaints from the staff. Perhaps Sylvan since he handles the paperwork and pay stuff... But I am never too busy. I've always told everybody that if they needed anything to come to me... that the infirmary would always be a safe place." God she felt absolutely horrible at that point in time, not knowing about any of this happening. And even she was wanting to break down... feeling more like a failure to their staff at that point in time. Especially with more that she was hearing. It wasn't long before Sylvan seemed to be coming into the room with Abadon though and he was going over to his sister, just drawing her close. No that sense of being like a failure was what had startled him.
 
Eve watched the two and waited while she worked on calming Avalon down. it was taking a bit of work but she soon had the girl calm enough that she could stand there while they talked. Eve couldn't help but wonder what was going to happen and how bad things were going to get before they got better. Eve knew that once news of this spread the woman would be out for blood and would take her anger out on everyone and anyone that she could.
 
Phaedra was just pushing some of her hair out of her face before she was letting out a breath of air and looking towards Sylvan for a moment. "I'll write up her papers to terminate her contract." he was speaking after a moment in time before he was stating that he would also take her to get her memories wiped of that place and everybody there.
