W&G: The Inquisitor's Speartip (OOC)

While I appreciate the thought, Talshi didn't have any shock; just some wounds. So unfortunately that roll wouldn't have happened, nor would it grant us any glory.

You did manage to exactly heal up his 2 wounds with that shift though so good stuff.

So some news. I've been cheating on accident and figured I'd share the information for everyone's benefit now that I realize the errors.

1. If the damage you take from an attack equals your resilience you suffer 1 Shock. So Talshi DID have shock, Anna was able to treat it with a medicae check and did get that crit for 1 Glory to the group pool. Yay.

2. Multi-attack specifically states that you cannot shift when performing one. So no glory shifts, no extra damage shifts, and no bonuses such as a Flamer Sweep effect. I think I've only used this for glory so far but still it's worth noting. If KalTammy wants to take away a few points of Glory from the pool that's fine. Otherwise will just have to remember that going forward.

Not going to worry about taking away any Glory from the pool, it's a mistake I missed and I'd been making in my live game of Wrath&Glory. Along with letting players multi-attack a single target, which also seems to be not allowed.

How deep in the chapel are the daemons? Because Talshi will be the rabbit but I don't think I can easily get their attention if they are out of flamer range.

Mmkay. Well I'm going to hold off on posting for the moment to give Sky the opportunity but, if no one has any objections, I'm down to have Talshi lead the daemons into the courtyard for the party & Rhino to deal with.

Definitely gonna let ya'll have the first volley. No gun and Khanzhar has no desire to be in melee with plaguebearers. She'll be there admonishing the team until they get into melee range.

Sorry for the delay, this week was kinda hellish @_@ If it helps move things along, i can edit the rolls for a attack into my post for the first 'turn' if everyone agrees with anna tossing the bomb in.

It would appear we are currently split on our thinking. I was assuming you wanted the Rhino support so I was going to draw the daemon's attention and fall back into the open to allow it to shoot when they come out like you were suggesting. However now you are suggesting just fighting at the chapel instead.

I personally don't much care what path we all take but we should try to get on the same page. So what would you prefer in this case? Since Anna is the one so hellbent on killing these things, I figure you have the most interest in the methods Sky.

I just figured we'd toss a bomb in the windows of the chapel set up on them and fire inside then retreat once they try to reach us.

Anna's thought was along the lines of 'can we use the rhino to heavybolter the shit out of the demons through the front of the temple, either through the walls or a window' and when that was shot down, figured tossing a melta bomb into the midst of them followed by enthusastic shooting/stabbing once they emerged, if they survive, was a good plan B?

The rhino has a stormbolter, not a heavy bolter unfortunately, but sure you can just throw a melta bomb and engage them at the entrance to the chapel if you want.

Would have been nice if you commented on our discussion from Monday before changing your mind so fast but ultimately it's not that big of a deal to me.
