W&G: The Inquisitor's Speartip (OOC)

There isn't much to see map wise, just put the front of the buildings as a rough thing, just the flat sides to show they were there without giving details. Building wise there is a chapel on the east side, rubble strewn but windows can be climbed into. The west side is the larger palace complex and that's the door the chaos space marine went into before this fight started. Right now there are no active hostiles in either building, gunned down or fled after having half their number taken out.

Not a problem, all get busy.

Anna still has a standard action if she wishes to do anything with it.

Im good. Lets keep things rolling now. Letting them know about the threat is enough for this turn.

Your first combat has been won, probably more chaotic than the book actually intended, but hey that's what they get for not giving me a map.

I'm honestly more surprised that the opening battle is the storming of the beaches of Normandy by description. Clearly we managed but Flagg isn't doing so hot.

A regroup counts as an hour, so that depends on if you all want to settle in to the courtyard for an hour or if you want to keep moving.

So status of everyone(correct me if I'm mistaken with any of you):

Flagg 6/10 wounds, 7/7 shock
Talshi 10/12 wounds, 0/7 shock
Anna 9/9 wounds, 0/7 Shock
Khanzhar 7/9 wounds, 2/7 Shock

Absolutely. Go ahead and roll Medicae, DN 3. That'll heal 1 wound and an additional wound for every Exalt you can shift. Double-checking the book, but pretty sure Flagg will just need to spend her last Wrath to restore some shock.

Edit:

Becuase Flagg comes equipped with a Slate Monitron you'll get 2 bonus dice to Medicae her.

Nah i can do both, Just different tests.

That you do but pretty sure that refers to your character's Rank(which I got mixed up with Tier again so would be 2 shock instead of 4.) But I might be incorrect there and double-checking the wording on skills.

Okay yeah, so Rank looks like it is always referring to your character's Rank(which is 1 right now) while your skill points are referred to as Ratings. Bit of confusing wording as feel like Rank usually is used for skill ranks rather than what it is here, level.

Anna roll for fixing shock
[_11d6]=(2+4+3+3+2+4+5+2+2+6+6)=39
Thats 7 vs DN3 so rank+1=2 shock fixed Pity i cant shift exalted icons to heal more like i can with wounds. Can we houserule that? XD Would be nice to be able to heal 4 by shifting 2 icons like below.

And for wounds
[_11d6]=(4+6+3+6+1+5+4+5+3+2+1)=40
thats 84 vs DN 3 heals 1 wound, i shift the two sixes to heal +2 wounds for a total of 3.

Also i assume i cant just.. sit here and test over and over until shes better. As nice as it would be for me utilitywise i feel like all the limits are pointless if i can do it adinfinium?

Yeah, as much as complications are supposed to discourage rolling skill checks forever, it isn't much of a deterrent. So yeah, I'd say one particular use of Medicae per person per 'scene' between combats(So one use of healing shock, wounds, condition each per person). In combat you can Medicae as much as you want of course, but you're spending actions to do so.

As for the Shifting to heal more shock... that honestly feels like it should be a rule. I am fine implementing that houserule if everyone is good with it.

Just so I'm clear on what's going on, are we waiting for Zazu's opinion on the Medicae houserule suggestion before continuing?

Oh didnt realize ya'll were waiting for me. Im fine with the houserule implementation.
