Skye was just listening for a moment but that was a voice that she didn't recognize at all. Yet she was definitely horrified when she came across something and there was definitely a startled scream from her, not intentional. Yet again she had never come across death before and she was definitely across that while looking around. The former chief and he was dead.... having been stabbed repeatedly. And now in falling backwards away from the dead body, she was falling into the blood that was all over the ground at the time.
 
One of the other officers was hurrying over to check it out and was just helping the young woman up, steering her away from the body. "The former chief is dead.... stabbed multiple times it looked like." the officer was calling up as he was getting the young woman to sit down - since he could tell that she was more than shaken at the sight of that, and she was trying to wipe the blood off of her hands, tears falling. Nicolas had been speaking to others when he had heard the scream which had his head turning quickly. No he recognized that scream right away. Well at least he knew she was alright.... for the most part.
 
One of the officers had managed to get Nate awake so that they could get him out of the hole, and to a waiting ambulance to be taken to the hospital to check. The moment that Skye was out of the hole she was instantly going over to Nicolas, and he was just wrapping his arms around her. She was definitely covered in blood at that point from where she had fallen in it - but nobody there was going to judge at all.
 
Sky looked at Nate shoes eyes were glazed over and then at Skye "why don't you go with him Skye keep and eye on him for me please so that he doesn't try to dodge getting seen"
 
Skye was climbing into the ambulance as well, a paramedic trying to find out if she was alright since she had blood on her clothes. This had her giving a nod before she was commenting that she was fine.
 
Nicolas was just letting out a breath of air but his anger was definitely boiling at that point in time before he was running fingers through his hair.
 
max returned several minutes later and apologized "sorry Sir but he got away from me with your permission I am going to head to the hospital to check on our witness and my partner" max had heard as he had been walking up that Nate had been taken to the hospital
 
Nicolas was just looking over before he was commenting, "Skye went with Nate. I'm sure she'll give Nox and Mason an update on stuff." Actually he was sure that she was going to end up going a little more illegal and do some deep diving, but he wasn't going to say anything about that.
 
Nicolas was just looking towards him before he was speaking, "You can go and check on them if you want. I am not stopping you at all." With that he was just looking towards Sky, who actually did seem a bit confused before he was explaining the whole situation.
 
Sky nodded his head "if its the same person I feel you would be better off in the hospital with our witness as soon as I can spare some men Ill send them to help you"
 
"She does always have somebody with her. Between her twin brother, their friend Mason, or Skye when she is there. There is always somebody with her. And as far as I know he hasn't been seen near the hospital." Nicolas was commenting after a moment in time.
 
Nicolas was nodding his head before he was stating, "She is in the hospital for now until they are assured there isn't going to be another fever or seizure."
 
Nicolas was just commenting, "Probably because some of the cops had stopped him from getting what he wanted. Max and Nate are a pair of them that had stopped them."
