"Oh no, you have to share a bedroll with your husband~ whatever will you do~?" He teased.

She giggled. “I’m subject to his deprivation, whatever will I do~?”

"Take it like the good wife I know you can be." He said, his voice a low rumble as he stood over her.

She swallowed hard, her face turning bright red. “O-Of course~”

He smiled and kissed her cheek, "Good girl." He said before climbing into the tent.

She stood there for a moment, her brain about fried by the small interaction. She took a breath and followed him inside.

The roll looked rather comfortable and thankfully large enough to have both of them on it comfortably.

She moved and laid next to him, making a soft noise.

"Is it comfortable enough?" He asked gently, putting his arm around her.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled and wiggled up to him. “It’s a bit warm but it is much more comfortable now~”

He smiled softly, "Warm, hm? I thought it was a bit chilly." He did run a lot cooler than she did, being a reptile and all.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled a bit. “Your blood is cold, husband~”

He held her tighter, "And you are delightfully warm~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

Her face flushed a bit. “I’m glad I can provide that for you..~”

He rumbled softly and fell asleep rather quickly, comforted by her calm presence.

She made a soft noise, a little uncomfortable sleeping in the open woods, but also finding it strangely exciting being almost smothered by him.

It wasn't like bandits or animals would overrun them easily; Maleris was rather large and intimidating.

When morning came, Maleris pulled himself away from her and stretched before shaking her gently, "Ifera...it's time.."

She made a soft noise and slowly woke, yawning as she stretched.

"Are you ready?" He grinned l, excited to spend this time with her.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled and nodded. “Let’s go.”

He climbed out of the tent and moved to grab his bow and quiver, securing them and his knife before passing a knife to her.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She took the knife and tucked it carefully into her waist belt before following him.

They traveled through the thicker parts of the forest, Maleris keeping his eyes open for any gane before setting up snares for rabbits to check on their way back - he showed her how to loop and set them and how to cover them properly so they couldn't be seen by prey.
