She smiled and nodded as she lifted the basket.

He walked back with her and showed her how to descale and debone the fish before he set them up to cook.

She was enjoying this. Much better than bickering over nothing. Just the two of them, bonding.

"And then, at first light, we start our hunt." He told her, "How do you feel so far...?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled. “This is exciting..! I can’t wait for tomorrow..” she said.

He smiled, too, and nodded, "The first hunt is always the most exciting."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Is it really?” She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He nodded, "There's an odd thrill to it...but perhaps that's because I'm male.." He grinned.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled a bit. “Oh, yes the mighty hunter~” she teased.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He laughed softly, "Yes, indeed. Male pride and all~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“I’m sure you’re full of it~” she said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He nodded, "Very much~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She giggled a bit and tended to the fish.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

When th y finished cooking, he ate with her and he discussed what the plan for the morning would be; how he'd show her how to track game and lay traps.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled and listened to him talk over the fire, finding all of this incredibly endearing.

"What's that look for?" He asked gently, "Am I boring~?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

Her face flushed a bit. “N-No not at all..!”

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Then what~?" He asked.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“I-It’s nothing..!” She said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Mhm~" He teased softly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She made a soft noise and ate her fish.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He chuckled softly and finished the last of the food before standing with a stretch.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She looked over, trying to hide that she was admiring his form. “Bed?” She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He nodded, "We have to get up early. We need to be rested."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She nodded. “Very well.” She said as she moved to stand.
