Things aren’t always what they appear, especially when it comes to their lives. A lone pair of twins who only care about each other seems normal…at first. However, for Gem and Jett normalcy was never an option. They were the only ones who knew it but they were both cursed and gifted with abilities beyond human comprehension. They could read the minds of anyone they chose to and they were both Telekinetic. You’d think it would keep them from harm but with their closed of minds they couldn’t see anything beyond what they wanted to.
Gem looked up at the night sky and smiled softly it was a perfect evening. She looked over at her brother Jett and smiled brightly.
“Look there” She said pointing out a constellation to him “It’s Orion…well his belt anyway…I think the other stars are there…there…there…and there”.
She loved stargazing especially with Jett he was the best company. Then again, he was usually her only company, which sometimes made her a little sad. She adored him and would hate having to live without him but she also wanted her own friends. It was actually harder to make friends as a telepath than if she were normal. She learned early to block her mind but she was too shy to approach anybody so it was a moot point.
“Don’t you just love the night sky?” She said, “It's this view that makes me glad we’re in this tiny little town”.
