Ianite was just looking at her for a brief moment in time before she spoke, "My parents have never really had love for me at all." The servant was heading off to do just that.
Ianite was nodding her head before she spoke, "Even if I'm a bit of a burden on him.... I've always had a weak immune system... one of the reasons that my family always hated me. So I am sick often. Still am."
"but once her found out he didnt' send you home did he" Cat looked at her and she already knew the answer as they were both sitting there married to the only two dukes in the kingdom
Ianite looked towards her for a moment before she spoke, "I.... Or perhaps he allowed me to stay out of pity. The moment I left my home.... My parents had thrown me aside. I wouldn't have had a place to return too at all."
Ianite was just giving a nod of her head and it wasn't long before the servant seemed to be returning at all. Yet her mood seemed to get a little sullen when she was realizing that with being hurt just meant that she was once again a burden on her now husband.
Cat wanted to scold her from getting upset over getting hurt but she didnt as it wasn't her place to do such a thing. Adrian noticed that she was hurt when the servant brought what Cat had asked for and went to her side to see if she was ok
Adrian did his best to be gentle and once the swelling was down her wrapped her ankle making sure it was snug but not so tight that it cut off circulation in her foot
