The Night Whispers

The soldiers took Jessica and marched her into the base before moving her into the holding cell. They spoke amongst themself wondering what to do with her. Another soldier walked in and looked at Jessica. "Who is this?" One of the shoulders shrugged. "Don't know. some woman who claims to be lost and without her papers." The soldier nodded. "Hmm Have we figured out what to do?"

Schrodinger looked Faye over and shook his head. "Oh dont worry I don't really have anything planned for you.. You arnt worth it." He then moved over to the dresser and pulled out a picture. It showed a beautiful woman sitting at what looked to be a large chair in quite a lovely dress. He shook his head and set it down and looked at Faye and growled.

The guard looked at Pocahontas then set Esmeralda down in the room and headed out of the room.
 
Jessica continued to shake, unnerved by the sudden ability to understand everyone around her. It must have been an ability she'd gained when Kuro turned her, because she could tell by the uniforms these men were wearing that they were part of Germany's forces. What really mystified her, however, was how she had gone back in time, not to mention the fact that she was being treated relatively civilly. She did know one thing, however, and that was that she needed blood soon.

Faye had absolutely no idea what Schrodinger wanted with her, but she was getting tired of his mood swings. One minute he was "Don't worry, I won't hurt you," the next he was, "So much as blink and I'll cut your heart out and hold it in front of you."
 
The Germans seemed to pay her little mind. but then the wall began to shake as men started running out of the building and outside leaving Jessica in the jail. "Americans incoming." The soldiers kept fighting. It wasn't long till the germans were forced back into a retreat. footsteps could be heard down the hall before rifles were aimed at her but then lowered. "Sir..we've got someone here. Sergeant!" Around the corner a man walked out wearing the rank of a us Sergeant. It was Kovo. but he looked different, there was color to him. He didn't look pale like normal.

Schrodinger sat on the chair and cracked his knuckles before looking at Faye. "Hmm what to do with you?"
 
Her eyes widened as she saw him. She could smell his blood, nearly feel it running through his veins....but that couldn't be. Kovo was...this must have been the Kovo from the past. If that was true, then Esmeralda would be the one to turn him. She had to stay away from him. But even as she thought it, she was walking toward the cell door. "Please....help me," she said trying her best to keep from lunging at him. "Let me go. I haven't done anything."

Faye watched Schrodinger, annoyance, more than fear painted on her face. Did he think he was going to intimidate her now? Even if she was helpless, she wouldn't let him get to her like Aza had. She had had enough of those games. Was he after pain? Was he after fear?
 
Kovo looked at Jessica then to his mean and sighed. "Corporal open that Cell." The soldier nodded and walked over to it. "Stand bakc Miss." He drew his pistol and shot the lock off before opening the door and helping her out. Kovo looked at her and sighed. "where you live around here or what, whats your story?"

Schrodinger looked at faye and made sure the ties that kept her to the bed were sound before he walked out of the room and met up with Pocahontas. "New idea. I want you dressed in your one piece silk Chinese dress. and take Esmeralda and get her dressed in a 2 peice silk chineese dress,pantyhose first then back stockings. then take her into the room where faye is and play with her infront of faye. I want her to watch and break down while you two play." He smiled and kissed her before heading to the outside.
 
Jessica frowned. "I...I don't know how I got here, but I know I don't live around here. I'm sorry, but I don't remember much," she said, hoping he'd buy it for now. "They found me out in the rain and locked me up in here for no reason."

Pocahontas nodded and kissed him back before she went into her room to change. After that, she dressed Esmeralda as she was instructed to and brought her to the room Faye was in. She smirked at the girl and then tossed the gypsy woman onto the bed, kissing her and roughly handling her.
 
Kovo nodded and pulled off his helmet. "well This place is still much of a fire fight so we can't just allow you to head off as much as we would like to. So there is a problem right there. Now is there any place we can keep you safe for the time being?"

Known to Pocahontas but unknown to the others Schrodinger had recently set up cameras and turned them on to watch what was going on in that room. He smirked wondering what Pocahontas would do.
 
"I'm not even sure where I am," Jessica said with a frown. "I wish I could be more helpful."

((I'm having a little bit of trouble thinking of something for Pocahontas to do, so you'll have to wait a little, if that's okay. Sorry))
 
(np) Kovo nodded. "Right now you are in Caen, France. You must not really be from around here?" He shifted his rifle on his shoulder and watched her. "So then miss, Tell me where are you from?" He watched Jessica and helped her move to a chair while he put himself near a window in case he had to quickly look and fire off any shots.
 
So she was in France. Well that made sense, considering she had been in France before she was booted back in time. She frowned when he asked her where she was from. She wasn't entirely sure he would believe her if she told the truth, but if she lied, she was almost certain he would be able to see through it. So it was that she frowned and said, "I'm from America. I came here with my lover quite some time ago, but we were separated in an attack and I don't remember anything past that...."
 
Kovo nodded and called another soldier over to take watch. "Well then Miss, where about these parts do you live around so that we can get you there safely?" The building shook abit as they could feel explosions going around. "Don't worry about that just trying to shake them out." He then looked back at Jessica. "Or who is your Lover, perhaps we can find him around town if he has headed to a shelter. like all civilians should." Across town Kuro, Kovo and Clopin were trying to stay out of sight. "This isn't good. 1943 era, WWII, Caen France...not good." Kovo nodded. "Ya gotta tend with past selves and Both the American GIs and German SS.
 
She was relieved when he asked her lover's name rather than where she was. Still, if Kovo was around at this time, perhaps Kuro was as well. It was possible, since Kovo was still a human, then so was Kuro. What if they knew each other? They wouldn't know of Kovo yet....she could use his name. She would have to. "Clopin," she said softly. "That's his name."
 
Kovo nodded as he took out a pad of paper and wrote it down. "Clopin, Hmm well I'll send word to the shelters if they have picked up anyone by that name. I guess the best we can do right now is escort you to one of the shelters and let you on your way." The boys were looking over the area. "well what shall we do, where do we go?" Kuro rolled his eyes. "Don't look at me I wasn't even in france during this time. I was enjoying a good long nap, What about you Soldier?" Kovo just shook his head. "Hey I was busy fighting the war, what about you dad?" Clopin laughed. " I know this city but not this time.. I was napping. If your mother was here I'd say ask her. She was a school teacher around this time."
 
"Thank you, sir," Jessica said with a smile. Glad to be heading off to some place relatively safe, the redhead began to shiver again. She needed blood and she wasn't sure of how long she'd be able to hold back. They needed to hurry. She needed to find some sort of lost battle field. Maybe she could find a corpse to drain. But that was wishful thinking. Soon, she would attack someone and she was determined to make sure that it wasn't Kovo.
 
Kovo nodded and headed out making sure Jessica was behind him before he headed out and got into a jeep. He helped her get in before another soldier got onto the 50 in the back and they started to drive out to the shelters. Kovo just looked around. "So what are you two still during in France at a time like this? If your American you could of easily gotten back to the States."
 
"His mother lives here," she said with a frown. "She wouldn't leave and he didn't want to leave without her," she said again.
 
Kovo nodded. "I see." He kept driving through the city and passing Allied checkpoints before he finally got to one of the shelters and got out. "Okay then I guess we'll see if he's here." He slung his rifle to his shoulder and walked into the shelter to find out who was in charge.
 
So far, Jessica had spoken the truth. She was even able to hold back her urges for blood, but she was uncertain about how much longer she could keep it up--especially in the presence of so many people. No doubt the shelter was bursting with life and she needed a place where people went to die. "Might I ask...who are you, before you leave?"
 
Kovo looked at her. "I am Sergeant Durast, Kovo Durast of the 1st infantry Division. Bravo Company, First Squad." He looked at her andtilted his head.
 
She nodded to him. "My thanks, Sergeant Durast. I hope to see you again one day." Jessica smiled softly and then got out of the vehicle as it came to a stop. "I'll find Clopin on my own," she said, heading toward the shelter.
 
Schrodinger walked into the room To see how His girls were doing.

Kuro, Clopin and the Present Kovo were in the shelter looking around thinking that perhaps Jessica had managed to make it to a shelter and not get harmed.
 
Jessica looked around her, wondering if maybe Kuro and the others had managed to find their way here. Finally, she found a table and stood up on it, looking around the crowded hangar that served as a shelter. It was all she could do to restrain herself.

((To be honest, there's not much that Faye hasn't seen done to women at this point. I don't know that there's anything that could break her by just watching. If there was, I wouldn't know how to even begin to play it out))
 
Kuro was the first to spot Jessica and nodded over to his brother and father before heading over. "There you are." He smiled and pulled Jessica down and kissed her before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a blood packet. "eat up for now..until we can get you something better."

Schrodinger held onto Faye and grinned,running a hand though her hair as she sat in his lap as he watched Fran Play with Esmeralda. "Hmm..who to have you or Esmeralda."
 
Jessica felt a flood of relief when Kuro came to her. She kissed him back and sighed in relief when he handed her the packet. "Thank God. Should...is it okay to do this in public?" she asked.
 
Kuro nodded. "It just looks like a black package on the outside. the blood is inside so just drink up. if you dont want to bite it has a straw." He smiled and looked at her. Clopin looked around and sighed. "drink up. then we gotta get out of this time..I need all of us or else it wont work."
