He smiled and nodded. “The citrus really plays well.”

"Doesn't it? I almost sound crazy when no one orders them!" She grinned before stabbing some fries with her fork.

“Nah I don’t think you’re crazy at all.” He said, still sipping his drink.

She blushed and smiled, "At least someone doesn't.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Nah..” he said. “You’ve got a good head on your shoulders..”

Her face turned even redder, "You think so...?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“I know so, Lia.” He grinned.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"That's...new...I only hear 'dumb whore'..." She muttered bashfully.

“I’ll make sure to say it more often then.” He said.

"Thanks..." She said shyly, giving a small smile.

He grinned to himself, continuing to eat with her.

By the time her break was done and most everyone had left, Ty still hadn't shown up. Lia had closed Galin out by now and was looking forlornly down at her phone before giving a defeated sigh and pocketing it.

“Still no word from him?” He asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She looked up and shook her head, "No, um...he's on the otherside of town...with another girl.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Piece of shit..” he said. “Sorry, you don’t need to hear that..”

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She shook her head, "I've known..." She muttered, "Too scared to leave...anyway, I guess I'm walking home." She smiled up at him, "I'll see you tomorrow night?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Let me give you a ride home..” he said. “I’d be a real bastard not to offer.”

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Oh, that's kind, but you don't have to do that!" She smiled, "I've done this song and dance before."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Well, what if I wanted to give you a ride?” He asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She blushed deeply, "Then...I guess I can't refuse, huh...?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Not unless you really wanted to..” he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Now, that would be rude." She smiled, "I would be delighted for you to give me a lift, as long as it doesn't put you out of the way."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Not at all, Lia.” He grinned.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Then lead the way." She smiled, "Thank you so much."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He nodded and headed out to his car. It was nice, a modern sedan, not entirely luxurious. He opened the door for her and helped her in.
