"I-It's ok, I'm alright, he just caught me by surprise!" Lia smiled assuringly, Ty letting go of her arm, "If you want anything before the check, let me know, ok?"
He tried to focus more on his target, who was drunkly yapping about some business deals he really ought not to in public - deals Galin was hired to take care of him for.
Lia moved over with the check and placed it in front of him, "I hope you have a good rest of your night." She said gently.
It continued like this for a few days, Ty coming in a being rough with Lia before taking her home. She never seemed to lose the long sleeve, and when asked, she would say that she was just clumsy at home; tripping and bumping into things and was embarrassed about it. Everyone knew better.
One night, Ty didn't come in and Lia seemed pretty anxious despite her best efforts to hide it.
"How's your drink, Galin?" She asked brightly, "Finally feel like some food?"
"O-Oh, Ty...? I don't..." She paused, frowning, "I don't know...he isn't answering his phone...but he's posting on his Instagram stories, so he isn't in some ditch.."
It took a bit but she came back with a plate of loaded shoestring fries and another plate with lemon pepper wings. She set them on the table and hurried off before coming back with her water bottle, "Ok! I'm starving!" She smiled.
"Aw, I'll blush.." She smiled, "Our customers swear by our garlic parm wings but I honestly think the lemon pepper is where it's at. They're just the right amount of tang." She smiled, grabbing a couple wrapped fork and knife sets from her apron for them.
