SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

Amaya noticed Akihime’s unusual mood, changing her task from washing dishes, to helping Akihime buss them. “Everything ok?” She asked quietly, attempting to keep the conversation private as she collected empty glasses.

Akihime looked up at her and frowned before her gaze dropped back down to her task.
"I haven't heard from Yukimura in hours...I know he's busy working, but I feel like he would have said something by now..."

Amaya made a soft noise, not receiving any word from Yukimura on her phone either. “Have you talked with Sasuke?” She offered.

She shook her head, "I haven't seen him, either."
"Yo." Speaking of whom, Sasuke moved to the bar and leaned against it, "One bloody mary, please." He requested playfully. Akihime smiled faintly.
"And where have you been?"
"At the apartment, trying to get some shit moved." He grinned, "Rummaging through certain albuno's panty drawer~"
"Sasuke!!"

Amaya’s face flushed red and she cleared her throat, glancing at Akihime. “He’s only saying that to get a rise.” She said before looking back to Sasuke. “Have you heard from Yukimura?” She asked, moving to start the drink, grabbing a glass.

Sasuke's brows furrowed softly, "Dana? No, I haven't heard from him." He replied. Akihime's shoulders sagged and Sasuke sat up a little straighter, "What's going on?"
"He left for a job and hasn't texted me at all. It's been hours." Akihime replied. Sasuke scowled more.
"Hours?"
"He left me on read, which is normal...but I'm worried, he would have texted me by now..." Akihime said. Sasuke nodded, pulling out his own phone and trying to contact Yukimura.
"Yeah, that's not like him."

"Not to me." Sasuke replied, and Akihime shook her head.
"Just that he had to go and he would let me know when he was coming back.." She said. Sasuke clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"His phone is off." He muttered and Akihime panicked quietly.

Amaya frowned, thinking silently as she finished making the Bloody Mary, setting it on the bar in front of Sasuke. “All that leaves us with is asking Date.” She said tensely.

Sasuke stared at the drink before looking up at Amaya, "I was joking, I can't actually drink this." He told her.
"I could ask him...but he might not give me a straight answer.." Akihime said.

Amaya gently pushed the drink slightly closer. “Don’t forget to tip your bartender.” She said, obviously ignoring him entirely. “That’s a possibility, but.. other than Sasuke trying to track him down himself, we have little other options.”

"Amaya, I can't drink this." Sasuke repeated with a bit more firmness. Akihime moved over and took the drink, sipping it with a bit of a wince.
"How much vodka did you put in this?"

“Too much?” She asked, stepping to the fridge below the bar and retrieving a bottle of red liquid. “Sorry sorry, why don’t I get you something you can actually drink.” She chuckled softly, pouring a glass for Sasuke, placing the blood in front of him.

Sasuke huffed gently before tipping her anyway, Akihime swirling the straw gently.
"Drinking on the job, Sanada?" Masamune asked, striding past them casually. Sasuke sat upright immediately before looking to Akihime, who's face was as red as the drink in front of her.
"Sana...?" His eyes fell on the ring before they grew to the size of dinner plates, "Sanada?!"
"A-Ah, I knew I was forgetting something..." Akihime muttered bashfully. Sasuke grabbed her hand to examine the ring excitedly.
"Did he really?!"
"Yeah...on our date earlier today..." Akihime smiled. Sasuke cheered loudly, hugging Akihime tight.
"Congratulations, Aki!"
"O-Oh my!" Akihime laughed as she hugged him back, "How unlike you, Sasuke...!"
"Not very cyber tech goth of you, Sarutobi." Masamune smirked. Sasuke moved away, clearing his throat.
"Yeah, well... I'm happy for you." He said.

Amaya spotted the sparkle of the diamond on Akihime’s finger, moving over and taking Akihime’s hands. “Congratulations, Akihime.” She smiled, giving her hands a squeeze.

She smiled brightly, squeezing her hands as well, "Thank you, Amaya.." She replied.
"We can celebrate later, I'm sure." Masamune said. Sasuke made a small face.
"When Yukimura gets back?" He asked. Masamune gave an impish grin.
"Yeah. Sure." He replied.

Amaya held onto Akihime’s hands still, looking to Masamune without the soft smile leaving her face. “So where is Yukimura? We heard he’s on a mission- but haven’t heard from him all day.”

Akihime looked to Masamune as well, and his impish smile didn't even twitch.
"I had him do a bit of a deep dive for me. Won't be back for a few weeks."
"Weeks?" Sasuke hissed, Akihime's face and heart dropping into her feet.
"Why...?" She asked. Masamune made a noise.
"Needed him for some real tough work. Only he could do it, you understand."
"You'll forgive us if we don't." Sasuke said.

“What’s the job?” Amaya pried, studying his face, but finding no cracks in his mask at all. Special mission her ass, the timing for everything was off and he was full of shit.

"If I told you, I'd have to kill you." Masamune replied. Akihime held Amaya's hands tighter.
"Masamune, please..." She pleaded softly, "He's done everything you've asked..."
"Yeah, and this will really prove himself to me." Masamune replied.
