"Of course." He replied.
The car stopped after a while, and Samanosuke stepped out of the car behind Yukimura.
"I'm really sorry about this." He said, and swiftly after a sharp and sudden pain cracked through his skull as Samanosuke hit him over the head to knock him unconscious.
Yukimura went down like a sack of rocks, eyes unfocused- he barely registered what had happened to him, laying barely conscious on the ground at Samanosuke’s feet.
Thwy hauled him back into the car and drove back, instead of back to the estate they pulled into an empty looking warehouse. The others pulled Yukimura inside and Samanosuke made a call.
"It was really scuzzy, but we got him here." He said.
Masamune grinned, glad they managed to get the drop on Yukimura.
"Thanks, Samanosuke. Keep him under until I can get there."
Yukimura was out for a while before he was gently slapped awake.
"Wakey wakey~" Masamune cooed, tapping Yukimura's cheek. He was chained to the wall, the familiar weight all too haunting.
He looked around with hazy eyes for a moment before he jerked forward with wide eyes. He fought against the chains before looking to Masamune with wild eyes. “What the fuck?!”
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, language!" Masamune warned, just out of Yukimura's reach, "That's no way you talk to your master." His kagune swayed slowly behind him, kakugan flared.
"I figure two birds, you see? I train you to be a better protector, Akihime and I get a damn fine dog. Win-win." He said, "Not like you can really say no, I own you~"
Yukimura looked appalled, lip sneered as he took a step back from him. “I expected more than this from you, Date.” He glanced to Masamune’s bikaku. “Or is the excuse your half-baked kakuja?”
"Half baked~? Rude~ can't a guy want what's best for his men~?" He asked disingenuously, "You want to be able to protect everyone, don't you~? Can't have another mishap like with Matsunaga~"
"I do care about what happens to them~ to an extent~" Masamune replied, "cuz what will happen if one day you come home and I just decided to make Akihime and Amaya lunch~? With a side of Sarutobi kakuhou~? You'd destroy my whole estate~ even if I don't hurt them, their safety is a concern~ I can't keep you on a very good leash if your new wife is dead, can I~?"
"What are you gonna do about it if I don't?" Masamune challenged, "Those chains are made special; it would take you a hot minute and a half to break them, even if you went berserk." His bikaku flicked a bit and he gave a sigh.
"I could have asked straight forward, sure, but knowing you, you'd never go for what I have planned."
He gnashed his teeth, knowing he’d have to cut off his own hand before he would be able to cut through the chains. “And just what do you have planned for me?”
"Well, these next few jobs are gonna be a bot too easy. Hell, Sarutobi could do them alone no problem. That doesn't pay off a debt, in my opinion. As much as I'd love having you two in my back pocket, I'm not a monster." He said.
"So, I've decided that you're going to do a bit of ring fighting for me. Generate that money quick. And whatever's extra, consider it a wedding gift~"
“Fighting, that’s it?” He seemed angry and confused. “I would have done that without all of this!” He jerked hard on the chains around his wrists, baring his teeth.
