SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

"Yes, you can go." He said, moving away to clean the rod.

The cigarette fell from his lips before he suddenly raced to where he smelled Megohime's blood.

Amaya left the office without another word, closing the door behind her before stumbling to her room, collapsing once she was behind closed doors.

Masamune rounded the corner to a horrible sight, Megohime covered in her own blood, clutching her neck with one hand, using the other to grope on the ground for her phone. She was struggling to not choke on her own blood, breathing difficult as she tried to find her phone- not that it would help.

He could smell her fear right away, Megohime letting out what was more than likely a scream as she tried to push away from him, face covered in blood and unable to see who it was.

It was no use, Megohime either didn’t care it was him, or she wasn’t hearing him. She fought hard, swinging her clenched fist out blindly, choking on her blood as she struggled.

He let her hit him as he moved to try and stop the bleeding in her neck, ripping a bit of his sleeve to wrap the wound.
"Megohime, stop...! I can't help with you struggling...!"

His voice seemed to reach her this time, Megohime stopping her struggling, but it was clear she was still panicking. She was bleeding out, she was dying, and if she didn’t get treatment soon she would die.

"I got you, I got you," he soothed as he picked her up carefully, "Don't worry, ok? I'll take care of you." He moved and rushed back to his estate to get her seen by his doctor.

He could hardly see the expression she made, her face a mess of blood. She held the sleeve tight to her neck, trying her hardest to breathe, tears leaking down her face.

He ran so fast he thought his legs would fall out from under him. But he made it in time, and got her into one of the side rooms, barking at his men to grab the doctor from the otherside of the estate.

Masamune’s men were confused and worried to see Masamune with a dying Dove in his arms, but they didn’t question him, rushing to find the doctor and send him to Masamune. The doctor didn’t take long at all, the old man entering the room quickly as he pulled on sterile gloves.
“Human or ghoul?” He asked gruffly, moving to the medicine cabinet for the supplies he would need.

The old man grunted as he gathered a hand full of supplies, quickly moving over to Megohime’s bedside and setting the supplies on the tray beside him. “Hold her down, I need to stop the bleeding before we can do anything else.” He said, grabbing sutures and a needle.
Megohime was gasping desperately, her chest feeling heavy, and it was painfully hard to breathe- her limbs growing cold and heavy.

Megohime let out a terrified noise, struggling weakly against Masamune as he held her down, almost automatically fighting him as her mind became more disarrayed. The old man went to sewing up Megohime’s throat, working silently as he stopped the bleeding and repaired the severed arteries. Megohime seemed to tire out quickly, laying still now as the doctor closed up her throat. Once her throat was closed, he moved back to the tray, grabbing a syringe and filling it with a clear liquid. “She’ll need blood, probably lots of it, I’m going to sedate her temporarily to keep the stress off her organs.” He said, taking the needle to Megohime’s arm. “Once all that’s dealt with, I’ll tend to her other wounds.”

“I won’t ask why your brought a Dove here, but you should know all the men were talking about it.” He said, hooking Megohime up to an iv saline bag to start. “Everyone here knows she’s here.” He moved to where they stored blood, grabbing two bags out for Megohime.

Megohime was no longer struggling, the medicine she was given fully working and knocking her out cold as the doctor hooked up both blood bags to her. “Alright, I’ll let you handle that then.” He said, moving to clean up her face to see how bad the wound was. “Well, she’s rather lucky. Whoever did this didn’t manage to get her eyes- it’s only a flesh wound.”

“Don’t go getting all thrilled on me now- she might not be able to speak again.” He said, stitching up the cut on her forehead. “Whoever did this cut her throat deep, who knows if they damaged her vocal cords or not.”

Lose her voice? Was he serious? Masamune did his best to keep his temper away from his doctor.
"If she loses the ability to talk, could you fix it?"

“There are reconstruction options, yes.” He nodded, moving to examine the wounds on her ankles. “But before we go messing with her throat anymore, we’ll have to see if she can still talk first, let her throat heal.” He said.
