SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

"Oh good, your ears do work," Masamune hissed and pushed her forward firmly, "we'll have a sit down about this later, Megohime. Bunshichiro, get Sanada to the side room, get him some blood."
"Got it, hitto." Bunshichiro bowed quickly and moved to haul Yukimura over his shoulders and cart him off. Masamune turned to Akihime and pointed at her, causing her to freeze.
"You got lucky; since my nutcase of a woman decided to get in the way, you get to keep that pinky for now. However, if your loverboy gets ornery like that again, I may not even wait for a challenge. I'll take bits from you til he learns. Got it?" He stated. Akihime swallowed roughly and nodded.
"Yes, Masamune." She replied. He smiled warmly and gave a small nod.
"Good. I appreciate the cooperation. Now then, since Sanada is taking a bit of a nap, I suppose I'll have to play host." He turned to Megohime and glared down at her.
"Get up. Go put some coffee on, make yourself useful." He ordered.

The room filled with palpable tension, Megohime glaring back up at him, Kakugan aggitatwd as she pushed herself to her feet. “Fine.” She hissed out through her teeth, leaving to do as he said, slamming the door behind her as she went.
Amaya stood with blood on her hands beside Sasuke and Akihime, lost in thought. She didn’t understand how Yukimura had managed to stay alive after such a wound, almost like he had become a monster.

"Don't mind her so much. She gets like that." Masamune said before guiding them to the lounge. Sasuke moved close to Amaya, frowning.
"You doing ok...?" He asked quietly.

She nodded, the feeling of Yukimura’s blood drying on her hands a familiar one. “I’m fine..” Akihime was the one in real trouble, the looming threat of Masamune cutting her up a troubling one. “Let’s just keep the guy happy, do what he says..” She whispered back.

Sasuke nodded, sitting on Amaya's right and Akihime to her left.
"I have some left over wine from when Megohime was human. You guys want some?" Masamune offered. Akihime passed an anxious glance to Amaya.

Amaya met her gaze briefly to reassure her before answering Masamune. “It’s still too early for alcohol… Water is fine, thanks.” It felt weird that the situation felt somehow normal, like it was just another Tuesday.

Masamune stopped his rifling to go get a jug of water, humming a nameless tune as he gave Akihime and Amaya water.
"Just waiting on that coffee, too, sorry." He grinned. Sasuke gave a nervous smile in return.
"No worries, we appreciate it."

As if on cue, Megohime entered with a tray of coffees. She set everyone’s coffee out in front of them, glaring at Masamune silently as she set his in front of him. “Anything else?”

She sucked her teeth at his smile, turning and leaving the room with her arms crossed angrily.
Amaya watched the interaction in tense silence, not daring to touch her cup.

"It isn't poisoned. Megohime knows better." Masamune said. Akihime smiled anxiously.
"Well, please give her our thanks for the coffee." She said.
"What's the job you have for me and dana?" Sasuke asked. Masamune perked a bit and made a noise.
"That's right, I need you two to take care of some Doves." He said.

Amaya inspected the coffee briefly before taking a sip. “Can’t get to them yourself or something?” She asked.

"Not that. I need it to be discreet." Masamune replied, "I would just go in and rip everyone apart, but you guys? Easy."
"So, an in and out?" Sasuke asked. Masamune gave a half shrug.
"More or less."

"Oh, to the homes." Masamune replied smoothly. Akihime blinked, her expression a bit unreadable.
"The investigator's homes?" She asked. Masamune gave a small smile and a nod.
"Yeah."

Amaya sat back in her chair, not liking Sasuke making such a risky move, but it wasn’t like she could argue anyway.

Amaya touched her knee to Sasuke’s as a small gesture of comfort. “And what about us?” Amaya asked, nodding to Akihime. “What do we have to look forward to?”

"Comfort and safety." Masamune replied brightly, "All you two have to do is the jobs I give you."
"So just...bar work and house cleaning?" Akihime asked. Masamune nodded.
"That's all."

“Do we get off time? And if we do, are we allowed to leave?” She was curious to see if they’d be full time hostages or not.

"Well, yeah, there's off time. I don't wanna work you to death. And no, but I have a side house in the back you guys can use. Free of charge~" Masamune replied.

Amaya gave a soft grunt in response, not liking that they couldn’t leave, but having no other option. She glanced at Akihime, the idea of everyone being split up making her nervous.
Yukimura stumbled into the lounge, looking a little worse for wear, face bruised already as he looked around before spotting the table his companions sat at. His eyes were worried, quickly landing on Akihime, inspecting her the best he could for missing fingers as he moved over quickly.

“Are you ok?” Yukimura completely ignored Masamune’s provocation, shoulders sagging a bit in relief when he saw Akihime still had all her fingers. “Bunshichiro filled me in on what happened..” He frowned.
