SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

“No, I think I’m still just surprised from the attack is all, please don’t worry about me, Yan-sama.” She said softly, truth be told she did feel guilt for killing the fighter, disgusted in herself for being able to kill so easily.

He nodded in understanding, "That was rather startling. I'll have to reprimand my mem for letting him escape." He remarked. When they reached her bedroom door, he stopped beside it, "Why don't you lie down for a bit. Once you're rested, we can begin some basic Mandarin." He offered.

Amaya nodded, holding onto him for a moment longer, hesitating to let go of his arm before finally tearing herself away. “Of course. Thank you, Yan-sama..”

Amaya lowered her gaze, frowning softly as she shifted a bit. “I.. didn’t feel like being alone, but I don’t want to take you away from what you were going to do..”

Amaya felt a little embarrassed, not only was she acting like a needy child, she was doing it with Yan. “Please..?” She couldn’t stand to be alone in that moment, and she had no one else but Yan.

The entire situation felt strange and wrong, but Amaya moved to lay on the bed beside him anyway. She lay on the bed facing him, and even laying down beside him, he made her feel small. She wasn’t going to complain though, at least she wasn’t alone locked in a room again.

Amaya could almost imagine laying with Sasuke like how they used to, closing her eyes and relaxing a bit.

Amaya missed hearing Sasuke tease her, missed his witty remarks- something she’d never hear again. She’d have to get over it. He was dead and gone, and no amount of yearning would ever bring him back.

Yan tried not to notice the shift in her scent, continuing to lie quietly with her. He found it oddly pleasant, he didn't remember when he last let himself relax.

Amaya dared move her hand closer, placing it on his chest and holding onto his shirt, resting her forehead against his chest as well.

She nodded, keeping her eyes shut and head still against his chest. “Yes.. thank you, Yan-sama.”

Ren was surprised when he got a series of texts from Akihime, someone he didn’t expect to hear from at all.

Ren trusted Akihime to an extent- he trusted Mitsunari and his trust for him extended to Akihime. He stared at the texts for a while before finally responding to them, agreeing to meet Akihime, but nothing more until he knew what he was going to help with.

Ren showed up on time to the location she sent over text, sitting down at the table across from her. “You’re looking much better than before- that’s good to see.”

“Well, that was really more of an accident on my part..” Ren mumbled, not wanting to recount what had happened when he had been captured. “Anyway, what favor did you need, I can do my best, but I can’t promise you anything.”
