With her hands tender and vulnerable, Hakaku tried to make them some kind of painful motivation for her. But Yoichi always stopped it as soon as it started.
"Move." Hakaku growled. Yoichi shook his head.
"I will no longer sit back and watch this." He replied, "I'm going to take her somewhere she'll be safe, from you and Douma."
"I'm sick and tired of your lying!" Hakaku unsheathed his blade and moved quickly around Yoichi, swinging his weapon hard only to have Yoichi block the attack with his own blade.
"I will not hesitate to kill a fellow Pillar if I believe him tl be a danger to others." Yoichi growled.
Kaguya held in a scream of terror, unable to react besides turning her head away in fear. When she didn’t feel the pain of a blade cutting through her, she dared to look at what was happened.
Yoichi had Hakaku's blade locked, both glaring at each other with hatred.
"Leave." Yoichi demanded. Hakaku glared even more.
"We'll never find him if you keep babying her."
"And we won't find him if she's dead. Leave."
Kaguya cowered behind Yoichi’s back, feeling sweat forming on her from the adrenaline and fear. Was she somehow manipulating Yoichi? Perhaps she was playing him to just keep herself safe.
Hakaku sheathed his sword and left in a huff, Yoichi waiting before he sheathed his own.
"I tire of this," he muttered, "I'm getting you out of here.."
