She nodded as she ate, the food tasting like heaven compared to what Hakaku had been feeding her. “Please… don’t leave me alone..” She said softly, looking down at her food. “I won’t try to run, but please don’t leave me with that man again..”
Kaguya, though confined to her room, wasn’t locked inside. She was given a much needed bath, and her hair was attempted to be fixed by some of the kakushi. Most of it had to be cut off, leaving her with very little hair left.
Yoichi had told her that it wasn't so bad, he rather liked her with her hair short. It was odd, his kindness was vastly different in comparison to the kindness Douma showed her.
Yoichi’s compliments made having short hair much easier, made her not so insecure about her appearance. She was mostly escorted by a kakushi when allowed out of her room, but even so, she thought little of escaping. Yoichi gave her little reason to want to.
Kaguya had no more information to give about Douma, only withholding two pieces of information; that she knew Douma was a demon for some time now, and who he was going to see-at least on one occasion.
It wasn’t easy on her mind, being hurt, only to be taken care of by the same people who were hurting her. Still, she clung to Yoichi, he was the only one advocating for her, treating her kindly and keeping her the safest.
He always cleaned her wounds, whether it was the old ones that reopened or new ones, he always made sure she was cared for. He brought her real food and tea, anything she wanted.
"She could possibly know nothing more, Hakaku." Yoichi said quietly to the other hashira. Hakaku didn't seem to buy it, however.
"The pet of a Moon that knows nothing? I doubt it."
"You're going to kill her." Yoichi stated. Hakaku didn't bat an eye.
"So be it." He replied before he left. Yoichi scowled hatefully before moving to Kaguya.
He frowned heavily before he went to work. What could he do? He would get in trouble for stopping her interrogation. "I'm not sure I can make him stop..."
