The War (me and irena)

fine then we will just walk in the front door. she thought with a grin. with that she sent out her mind to the first gaurd and pulled sleep deep from his mind. he fell silently and then she did the same for the other gaurd. getting to her feet she glided forward and approached the doors from the shadows feeling with her mind for others.
 
He was shocked and a little frightened, but he stayed close behind, his mind stretching out, ready to kill. Nothing was going to harm her.
 
she grinned at his thoughts and still pressed on to her destination. comming up to the main corridor she stuck to the shadows as her father held counsle nearby. she motioned for him to stay and she moved forward a bit.with a simple thought she turned into a shadow and glided forward, moving towards the stairs she felt again for the minds of gaurds.
 
He watched and melded to the shadows when she ushered him to. He stayed hidden, as much as he could. But his mind spread out as extra protection for her.
 
she felt his mind and smiled. im going upstairs now she told him and floated up only to come to a block.
 
He followed her and felt the wall in front of her. He was quick with his own knowledge, dismantling it with a few enchantments and helped her to move forward.
 
she rolled her eyes and giggled in her head, "do u believe me incapable of this?" she asked him. moving quickly she made her way up towards her room. when she reached the entryway she grinned and stood up strait and sauntered into the room without fear of being found.
 
she walked in her room as calm as anything until she felt the pull of another mind. turring towards her window she laughed and spoke out loud, "well well, do u come to take me back or to attempt to kill me?" there was nothing visible but she knew that there was someone there.
 
He stepped in slowly, keeping to the shadows to keep hidden. He felt the presence too, and he didn't want anything to go wrong. not now.
 
she stood there calmy with her arms crossed over her chest smiling at the window."dont be such a coward, that is not the way u taught me to be, master" she bowed slightly and then a soft chuckle could be heard. "u are very right young one."
 
He stepped out as well, but cast a veil over the two of them, for the moment. It would take a moment for it to be dispelled, enough time to escape if need be. But half of his mind stayed with her.
 
her old teacher and master stepped from the shadows and bowed to her or where she had been. what did u do to us? she asked and looked around.
 
Shield, He said simply, keeping his eyes on her old master. The vampire was a ancient, definately someone that he did not want to go one on one against. That would probably be suicide. But he had to get her out of there.
 
she could feel his fear and sent her mind to him for comfort. i think hes ok he was good to me and taught me most of what i know. she grinned in spite of her self as she had learned some other things from the few women they had here. "what brings u here master?" she asked him politely but still on gaurd. "well small one i am here searching for someone. i need help to find this person, the person that can cure our people." he said plainly and smiled in her direction. "i will not hurt u child u can come out." he cooed.
 
"There is nobody that fully knows our plight." He said in a low, dark voice. "There is nobody yet that can heal us. I know this personally. The last that tried killed my mother."
 
"ahh but u see young one the one hope for our people had not been old enough yet to help at the time but now she is and we must use her to save our people." he explained then smiled. she looked at him and thought,what is he talking about?
 
His eyes narrowed. "We would know of her existance if she was even alive. I cannot feel her energy. It would be in my blood if it was."
 
he looked at him with a smile and then turned his gaze to her. her eyes were filled with confusion and then with horror. "no no no its impossible!" she stammered out. it cant possibly be me can it?she asked him and began to panic.
 
His eyes also turned slowly to her, and then it hit him like a load of bricks. He took a step back... then two forward before pulling her close. "Oh... our salvation..."
 
at his words she knew her fate was sealed and that scared the hell out of her, so much that she didnt want to be near either of them so in a burst of speed she took off out her window once again and flew as fast as she could getting as far away from them all as she could.
 
He watched her take off, and his gaze went from the window to her old master. His eyes narrowed for a moment, not wanting to leave the other there to wreck havoc, but he took off in flight in pursuit. He found her, but wasn't able to catch up, just out of range.
 
she felt his presence and for some reason it scared her so she pushed herself almost past her limit and kept going trying to escape. she was worried about what would happen or what they would do to her if she was to one. she was no ones breeding animal and didnt want to have tests done on her.
 
He rushed forward faster. He couldn't lose her, from her leaving or anything that anyone wanted to do to her. But he couldn't get the rush of speed he needed to catch up to her with. But he wasn't going to let her go.
 
she didnt even know where she was going but she just kept going and going until her wings couldnt take it anymore but she still kept it up because she was just so terrifyed of what would happen when the others found out. she dropped lower into the dense forest and flew there for a while until she came upon an encampment of people. her eyes turned blood red as she had been depriving herself as of late.
