Kakure

Sth seemed to notice the change in the atmosphere, be it from traveling or just instinct. "I think it's going to rain," he said. Strangely enough the sky was clear, but off in the distance thick blacks storm clouds could be seen hovering over. "I think we have a bit of time before hand....it might even veer off, but lets find a good place to stay dry just in case."

Seth wasn't the only one to notice the change. Elle and Pikachu looked up at the sky at the same time. Electric pokegirls always knew when it was going to rain because usually it called to them because of the electricity in the sky. Elle nodded in agreement with Seth. "Yes, it is." she said and Pikachu nodded as well. At the mention of finding a dry place, Elle looked at Seth. "Do you want me to go up ahead a little and look for a place? Perhaps a cave or something?"

Seth thought aboutit for a moment, he didn't want anything to happen to her. He remembered how Jewel had gotten hurt just then "No, thats alright, if we must we can resort to usng the tents." In a light rain they would be fine in the tents, but in a storm he wasn't so sure.

Elle looked at him curiously before slowly nodding. "Okay, if you're sure. But we should find a place that would protect us from winds just in case it turns into a storm." she said to him as they continue down the road. She had a feeling that if they were caught in the rain, it was going to be a bad one, but she wasn't completely sure.

Seth kept an eye out for anything they could use as shelter. He also hoped anything they found would not already have a residence. The stomrm clouds came slowly, and didn;t seem to want to go away from them. As they approached the wind picked up slightly, they needed to find a place fast, but hedid not want to send Elle on ahead, for fear of loosing her if the storm hit sooner then expected.

Elle glanced up at the sky as the clouds came in and she frowned slightly. Unlike Ash and Seth, she could feel the electricity in the air, as could Pikachu and both girls were beginning to get excited because of the rush the feeling caused. The plusle loved lightning storms and she could tell that's what this one was going to end up being. "Are you sure you don't want me to look up a head or even in the woods a bit?" she asked Seth as the wind picked up, making the small pokegirl shiver a bit.

Seth began to have second thought about his earlier decision. "The woods wouldn;t be good, since lightning could strike a tree," he said. They needed a cave of sorts, but something low, anything high up and they risked being hit by any lightning or even freezing from the cold of the air tempurature. "Go on ahead, but don;t be too long okay Elle," he said. He uessed team rocket would not try anything during a lightning storm, and if they did they where extremely stupid.

She looked up at him with a small smile. "Seth, you're traveling with two electric pokegirls. If anythings going to get hit by lightning, it's going to be me or Pikachu. But luckily, it wouldn't hurt us." she said before turning and darting off up ahead to look for a place for them to take shelter, leaving the two young men and Pikachu behind.

Pikachu sighed and looked up at the sky before looking at Ash. "So, how far will we be traveling with Seth and Elle?" she asked him.

"Until we get to Stark Mountain...maybe a little longer," Ash replied to her. He was holding onto his beloved hat, trying not to lose it to the wind that was picking up.

Seth waited patiently for Elle, hoping she'd be back soon, and telling them she found a good place. She however failed to notice that even if her and pikachu where safe from lightning, they would still be in close procimity to two humans, and they couldn't survive a lightning strike...well maybe Ash could.

(Yeah, Ash could since he'd been caught in Pikachu's thunder bolt so many times.)

Pikachu moved a little closer to Ash as they walked against the wind, shivering as the cool wind bit through her fur and chilled her.

Elle was gone for several long minutes before she suddenly broke through the bushes up ahead, shaking some leaves and twigs from her fur before scurrying over to them. "I found a cave up a head." she said, having to raise her voice to talk over the wind. "It's being used by a wild rattata pokegirl, but she'd agreed to let us use it for now while she's busy. If that's alright with you."

Ash walked next to pikachu, trying o keep the wind away as best he could now. His teeth chattering slightly.

Seth was a little shocked when Elle appeared "Alright, it sounds good to me," he wondered why a wild pokegirl even bothered speaking to Elle, he guessed some where docile enough to speak to. "Lead the way Elle," he told her.

Pikachu could hear Ash's teeth chattering and she wrapped an arm around him to offer him some of her body heat. It wasn't much, but it was enough to show him she cared about him a lot. When Elle appeared, she sighed and smiled before following the smaller girl.

Elle nodded. "Okay. Come on, it's not too far up ahead and the tree's will offer some protection from the wind for now." she said before leading the way into the trees that lined the road. It took a couple minutes but they finally came to a cave and she silently entered, shivering a little. The cave was already a little warm from the small pokegirl that was curled up at the back. It was a small purple and cream colored rattata. Elle moved to the back and knelt in front of the small girl and softly spoke to her with a small smile before returning towards the front of the cave.

Seth noticed how pikachu acted, as well as how Ash did. He was beginning to think the boy would be hopeless. They followed Elle to the cave, waiting as she spokto the residence. He wondered why a rattata lived in such a large cave, she seemed so small the he would have though a burrow would have sufficed.

Once they were in the cave, Pikachu slowly pulled away from Ash with a sigh before looking at the back to see the small pokegirl. The rattata was smaller then even Elle and Elle was pretty tiny.

Elle sat down against the wall with a sigh. "She said she's on the run." she said gently. "Her home had been destroyed by funny looking humans with black pelts. I think she is talking about those team rocket people."

Seth tensed at the mention of team rocket, but nothing more. "Tell her she has our deepest sympathies...and that we thank her," he said.

Elle nodded and crawled towards the back, softly speaking with the small girl who smiled up at Elle and at the others as she sat up. When she sat up though, they would be able to see an all to familiar bare spot in her fur, but this time it was along her one side.

Seth noticed it, this girl didn't seem sickly though, he wondered if it was recent. He however didn't want to cause any alarm. Though this rattata might be able to tell him where team rocket last was, but he'd wait till after the storm.

Elle reached out and ran her fingers through the rattata's short multicolored hair, the purple, white and cream hair a little rough from the weather. She softly spoke to the girl and she laid down again while Elle returned to the others. When she had been outside of the cave, she had seen one set of foot tracks leading into the cave and they were those of a raticate, the evolved form of a rattata but the rattata at the back of the cave and said she was alone. That knowledge along with that mark on her side had made it easy for the girl to add things up and figure out what happened, but she didn't say anything to Seth about it. Suddenly the sound of thunder filled the air, soon followed by the crash of lightning.

"Seems we got inside just in time," he said, Ash agreed with his comment. He was starting to think it wouldbe best if they got a fire started. Unfortunetally anything to burn would be outside, and would be soaked. They would have to make due without ne unless he found something in his pack or in the cave that could be used for fuel.

Pikachu slowly sat down against the wall with a sigh and looked outside. The rain was just beginning to fall and her ears twitched a little as she listened to it hit the ground and she listened to the sound of the wind through the trees. "Yeah, we did." she murmured in agreement with what Seth said before shivering a bit. Elle moved next to Seth and laid her head down on his shoulder as she relaxed. "We should be enough to keep warm. There's four of us. Five if we include the rattata so there's more then enough body heat to keep the cave warm enough."

Seth gently rubbed her ear. "If I knew better...I would take that as a rather...not so innocent comment Elle," he said teasingly as he scratched her ear. Despite the fact that he was aware of what happened to the rattata, he did not want Elle to worry either.

Elle felt her cheeks heat up as Pikachu began giggling from where she sat. The small pokegirl leaned into Seth's touch a little and shrugged. "Maybe it wasn't meant to be an innocent comment." she said simply with a small smile. Her response caused Pikachu to stop laughing and look up at Elle curiously.

Even he was a little surprised, but only a little. Being ith Elle had taught him that he shouldn't be so surprised anymore. "Well...does that mean your feeling needful then?" he asked her. Normally they neve did this kind of thing in front of others, but maybe it might help Ash get a bit needful as well. After all Pikachu needed an energetic trainer to satisfy her.

The girl shrugged as a small grin formed on her lips. "Maybe. Storms like this tend to effect electric pokegirls in that way. It gets us more... excited and energetic." she said, turning slightly to look up at him with a giggle, purposely wording it like that as to include Pikachu who was sitting against the wall with her legs pressed tightly together.

Seth had a feeling this evening would be a very active one. "Wll...I don't want you to feel uncomfotable," he nipped hear neck softly. This felt strange, it was as f they where acting it out for their veiwers.
