Kakure

Through the night, Elle slept rather peacefully, wrapping her arm around Seth sometime through the night and holding him close to her. The next morning, she woke up about an hour after him. Yawning softly and opening her eyes, she stretched a bit and blinked a couple of times before looking up at him and smiling gently. "Mm, morning." she whispered before yawning again. "What time is it?" Her ears flicked as she gazed up at him curiously.
 
"Morning," he said gntly to her, smiling back. "If I am judging right, he said. "I would say it is almost eight," he said "which probbly means Ash isn't up, but Pikachu will be," he knew them rather well it seemed. Pikachu wasn't a heavy sleeper, he guessed being an eletric type she was just full of energy.
 
She slowly sat up with a yawn and ran her fingers through her hair and over her long ears. "Then I'd say it's time to get up." she said with a soft chuckle. "I want to go and check on Pikachu then go and see about breakfast." She was still rather sleepy instead of being peppy, full of energy and ready to go.
 
"Looks like someones batteries where drained more then usual," he said as he noticed her tired state. Normally after fooling around for the night, she was the one who was ready the next morning to go. He guessed Pikachu really did a number on her. "Alright go and check on pikachu, I need to get dressed and then I'll talk with Ash."
 
Elle gave a sleepy little smile and giggled. "Yeah, just a little." she said while rubbing her eyes. She would get a charge from Pikachu when the met up a little later. When he told her to go and check on Pikachu, she nodded and slowly slid out of bed. "Okay. I have to go and find her first." she said with a giggle as she stretched. "I should be in the lobby when you're done talking with Ash or Pikachu and I will probably be outside." Leaning down, she kissed him on the cheek before turning and heading out of the room.
 
As she left, he yanwed greatly. He was tired, but he was sure he could talk sense into Ash still. He got up and got dressed. He tried not to remember to much of the night before, the thoughts only made him feel strange and conflicted. Once he was dressed he went to go and find where Ash would be. "Have you seen Pikachu?" the trainer asked, as he met him in the hallway, fully ready to go as well. "Yeah she is going to be with Elle...listen we need to discuss something," he told the trainer, who was willing to listen, but confused. Seth began to tell Ash about what had been wrong with Pikachu, though he left out anything to do with what had happened in their room. "Gosh, I mean she did always like those session," Ash said, Seth could tell he was a bit uncomfortable having another boy have to tell him to literally screw around with his pokegirl. "Well...lets just say I know where your coming from a bit Ash," he said.
 
After leaving the room, Elle went on the prowl for her friend. She finally found Pikachu down in the lobby of the poke-center, talking with Nurse Joy. Smiling widely, she waved at the other girl and rushed over to her. "Hi." she said gently. Pikachu grinned up at Elle and stood up, slipping her hand into the plusles. "What did Ash say?" she asked softly and Elle shrugged. "I don't know. Seth is talking to him alone. I thought I'd come and find you." Elle said softly. "Come on. I thought perhaps we'd go for a walk outside for a little bit."
 
It was strange to try and help Ash out with this problem. Not being a trainer himself, he never had to strive to get stronger, he did travel alot, but it never got in the way of being close to Jewel or Elle now. "Maybe from time to time you need to just take a break and well...you know," he suggested. Ash nodded "Yeah I guess your right," he said. Seth wasn't so sure if it really hit home with Ash, but he really couldn't think of anyway to insure things improved. "Hey Ash, me and Elle are on our way to Stark Mountain for Oak," he said, the mention of the Professors name got Ash a bt more attentive. "I'm sure it would be a nice side trip for you, though I thought you were traveling with a few people as well," Seth said, remembering the Professor saying something like that.
 
Elle and Pikachu slipped out of the pokecenter and into the bright morning sunlight, the plusle closing her eyes with a smile while the pikachu giggled softly with a small smile as she watched her friend. "It's nice out." she said softly as she took Elles hand and began walking slowly. Some people passing by or heading into the pokecenter smiled at the sight of the girls. They were cute together, walking hand in hand along the path that circled the pokecenter. The girls walked around it a few times just softly talking or enjoying the comfortable silence between them before finally sitting down in the grass and the flowers. Pikachu sat down with her legs stretched out and she leaned back on her elbows while Elle laid down with her head in Pikachu's lap.
 
Ash explained how he had gone off alone for the time being. Brock and Dawn, another girl Ash was traveling with, went off to another town for some contest. The trainer areed to travel with them, since it seemed the gym leader next up to face wasn;t there anyways and was off on someother trip himself. "Alright then it's settled," Seth said, the two boys seemed a bit more excited, Ash expecially as it seemed Stark Mountain had strong pokemon.
 
Elle softly spoke with Pikachu, telling her about her life before she was captured, then living with the woman that kept her for a while then sent her to Professor Oak. After a while she became quiet after telling Pikachu about after she started traveling with Seth. The older girl was sitting there with a small smile on her lips while she ran her fingers through Elle's hair as she began telling Elle about all of her adventures with Ash. She told her about how she had hated Ash at first and then slowly became friends with him.
 
Once they had settled things, they went to go and find there partners. Seth noticed Ash still seemed nervous, and he guessed he was thinking about how he could make amends to his partner. "Elle!?" he called out once they eft the center. He had there bags already and so did Ash. He knew they would need to take a boat to Stark, but he did hope along the way they ran into Team Rocket. He hadn;t told Ash about the entire plan, and he felt a bit guilty about it. He would tell them that night though.
 
When Elle heard Seths call, she was straddling Pikachu and she was tickling her, the two girls giggling loudly. But the moment she heard Seth, Elle paused and lifted her head while her ears twitched. This gave Pikachu the perfect chance and she rolled them over and began tickling Elle, making the other girl squeal loudly before beginning to laugh. "S-stop! Seth's calling." she said through her giggles. Finally she managed to squirm out of Pikachu's grasp and she scrambled to her feet, running off in the direction of Seth and Ash, Pikachu running along after her, hot on her trail.

Elle ran around the side of the pokecenter, Pikachu chasing her around the building and around the guys a couple of times before she tackled the smaller girl and both hit the ground with a thud and a series of giggles.
 
"There you guys are," he said as he watched them fall to the ground. "It seems we'll be traveling together for a bit, Ash agreed to coming to Stark with us," he said. He was hoping Ash would also make amends with Pikachu. Once they where set they left the center, thanking Nurse Joy, Seth looked up at the sky, hoping to see the meowth shapped balloon floating up above. The desire to find Team Rocket burned again as they left, and from time to time he almost wished to hear that stupid motto.
 
The girls slowly stood up, both still giggling softly as they listened to him speak. "We will?" Elle asked with a smile, her eyes lighting up. They were both obviously excited to be traveling together. Once they were all ready to go, Elle and Pikachu linked arms and began walking together. They began talking with each other and Pikachu whispered something in the smaller girls ear and Elle looked back at Ash before grinning slightly with a slight nod. Elle could tell that Seth was looking for Team Rocket by the way he kept his eyes on the sky.
 
"So how far are you along with Sinnoh?" he asked Ash. The boy took his time in answering "Got about four badges now...working on my fifth, but well still need a ways to go," he said. Seth was surpsied Ash could admit that even he was having problems. Normally the boy was a strong willed kind of guy who never admitted to his worries, even if they smacked him right across the face.
 
After a while of gossiping to each other, Elle and Pikachu stopped and waited for the young men to catch up. They moved to their sides and linked arms with Seth and Ash. Pikachu walked at Ash's side with her head bowed, her fingers gently playing with the edge of his glove. She was quiet and she seemed to be just a little withdrawn as she thought about what they had done the night before and how she hoped that Seth had indeed spoken to Ash. She trusted he did though. She'd known him for a while and she knew he always kept his word.

Elle could tell that there was a lot on Pikachu's mind and she smiled slightly while they walked. Things would get better. She was sure it would.
 
Seths attention was just slightly deverted as he watched Pikachu walk beside Ash. The trainer took notice of her, but seemed to be just as withdrawn as she. He hoped what he said got across to him, he was sure it had. He also wondered if Ash even enjoyed it, maybe there had been something missing, he really never did ask the boy why it was the case, only really make the problem appearent. "Hope it works out," he said a little to himself, though he meant for pikachu's dilema, as well as his own.
 
Elle looked over at Ash then glanced at Seth for a moment when she heard him speak and she nods slightly before she spoke up. "So, Professor Oak said that you were taking part in those... what did he call them... those contests, as well as earning badges." she said gently. "Have you been enjoying them?"

Pikachu looked over at Elle and smiled slightly. She had only participated in two competitions with Ash. After that she had been replaced by Buizel for the rest of the competitions he'd been in. After that she was usually left with one of the others to cheer him on from the stands.
 
Ash looked at Elle before he spoke "Yeah, Dawn sort of got me into them....almost as good as battling," he said. In truth the trainer also used the same coordinated moves in his battles against gym leaders.

Seth was a bit amused to hear this, knowing Ash had never cared for contests unlss t was a cntest of strength and skill. "I've never really seen ne to be honest," Seth said "Well not to it's entirety."
 
Elle truthfully had no idea of who Dawn was, but she figured from how he spoke of the person, it was a friend of his and it was a girl. Pikachu had mentioned the Dawn person a couple of times when they were talking earlier. A look crossed the plusles face. It was one that said that she figured something out and she looked up at Ash. "Is Dawn your girlfriend?" she asked him. The question was completely off topic and it came out of no where. In fact, it was so random, Pickachu looked over at her with a strange look in her eyes before she went into a fit of giggles.

This caused Elle to pout slightly and glare slightly. "What?" she asked, completely clueless.
 
Seth had also not been expecting that question to come up. But he did expect what came next. He watched as Ash paused, his face changed to a shade of embaressed pink and then he began to speak "No..nothing like that..I mean she is a girl...who is a friend," he explained. Of course the way he answered almost betrayed what he meant. Seth laughed a bit, knowing that Elle had meant no harm by the question.

"Dawns a friend who likes contests and that it," Ah said finally, and that seemed to end that conversation for the time being. Sehs eyes once more darted upwards, but then leveled out when he saw no one.
 
As Ash continued to stumble over his reply, Pickachu continued laughing, her brown eyes lighting up in amusement while she shook her head. Elle looked up at Ash as he turned a bright shade of pink and for a moment she thought his color reminded her of a wigglytuff and it made her giggled for a moment. When he finally said that Dawn was just a friend, she nodded slowly. "Oh.... okay." she said and she looked forward as her friends laughter finally died away and they all fell into silence for a while. Before... "Do you have a girlfriend?" was heard, followed by the other girls laughter again.
 
"No...not really," Ash said, this sort of thing was always trouble to him. He never spent time to find a girlfriend, so he really didn't know how. Seth could sympathize with him, he wasn't much of the dating sort of guy either. Though he had thought about it before, something Ash most likely had not.
 
"Oh." Elle murmured before shrugging and looking up at Seth with a small smile. She would of said that Gary had a girlfriend, but that probably wouldn't be a welcome comment. Especially since Ash and Gary were rivals. In fact, in the time she had been at Oaks lab, she had seen Gary come and go with at least four different girlfriends.
Pikachu on the other hand was finally calming down her giggles of amusement. She was leaning on Ash a little, her head resting on his shoulder. She knew all about Ash's love life and she always knew where he went wrong but she never said anything. Love was something a person had to figure out on their own.
