Kakure

Seth smiled gently when she answered. He didn't want her to strain herself, so he eframed from saying anything else that might make her unhappy. His attention went to Oak as he explained this change. "Changed her DNA?" he wondered "How is that even possible?" he asked, but didn't expect an answer. He saw th white fur, wondering what it could be doing. They had called it a 'Devolver'. "Do you think....she's maybe changing back?" he asked, he didn't know why he'd never asked this before, the name of the stupid thing seemed obvious now.

Professor Oak shook his head with a sigh. "I'm not sure yet. I've been studying her genetics very rigerously for the past few days to keep an eye on any such changes." he began. When Seth asked if she was changing back, the man shook his head again. "I... really don't know. It has crossed through my mind a time or two. But I can only hope not. Evolving can be a very taxing thing to happy to a pokegirl. To go back to her other form, it could be dangerous, if not fatal." As he spoke, Jewel nodded slowly as if she'd heard it all before, which she had. Though at the mention of it being fatal, she lowered the mask again with a slight frown after taking a deep breath.

"Don't you... worry about that." she said to Seth, strength seeming to build in her for the moment. "No... matter what... I won't leave you. I.." She trailed off into a series of coughs and Oak moved forward and she waved him off. "I love you Seth.... Besides, I'm too stubborn to be taken out by... the likes of team rocket."

Seth smiled gently at her words. "I know...something like this wouldn;t stop you," he said to her. "I love you to Jewel...get some rest though you need your strength," he said to her. "Professor...keep me noted on what ever happens alright?" he told the old man. Seth didn't want to keep them up for very long, Jewel needed to sleep, and the professor was wasting valuable time speaking with him. Though he was ver worried about this all. Mayb next time he met team rocket, he would force them to tell him exactly what that gun was supposed to do.

Jewel gave a soft chuckle. "Darn right. I've too much to live for." she said before nodding at his words. She agreed on the fact that she needed more rest. She was beginning to feel tired anyways. From beside her, Professor Oak smiled at Seth. "Of course Seth. As soon as I get more news on what's going on, I'll send word right away." Before either of them could hang up, Jewel spoke up once more. "Seth... The pokegirl with you. I don't mind." she said as if she knew what had happened. "As long as you don't replace me, I don't mind." After she spoke, she yawned softly and her eyes began to droop. "Well, we better let her rest." Oak said while approaching the screen and switching it back. "If you want to know anything, don't hesitate to call. No matter what time. Either myself or one of my assistants will be here."

Seth had thought the conversation would have ended, but when she spoke of being with Elle, he stiffened just a bit. Deep down he had sot of expected it to happen, and even expected her to be upset, but he approval shocked him even more. "I could never replace you Jewel," he said to her. As Oak spoke he nodded, knwoing that he was not going to interfere to much if he called. "Alright...if I find out anything as well I'll be sure to let you know," he answered back. "Good night," he said to both, but it was meant for Jewel mostly. After that the screens blinked off and he sighed gently. He stared at the blank screen for a few moments, before deciding to head back to the room.

"Very well. Good night Seth, and safe travels." Oak said before they hung up. Back in the room, Elle was sitting with Pikachu. The girls fur was a little damp from a shower and they were both sitting on towels. It wouldn't take them long to dry completely because of how short their fur was. At the moment, Pikachu was telling Elle the story of how she met Ash and what caused them to become good friends.

Seth came into the room, but didn't disturb their talk. Instead he walked into the washroom to get cleaned himself. The warm water of the shower helped him think, kept him calm as well. He kept thinking of Jewel, of the white patch of fur, if she was becoming an eevee wouldn;t it turn brown and not white? The ore he keptthinking the more he know he had to get Team Rocket to explain what that thing did, and the best way to catch a couple of crooks, would be to have a valuable peice of bait.

((Ohh, I love this little twist. Lol. Add in a dash of revenge and the need for answers and you have the perfect plot twist. ^.^ ))

Elle looked up at Seth when he came back into the room but before she was able to say anything he went straight into the bathroom and a moment later she heard the water running and knew he was in the shower. Looking at Pikachu, they both shrugged before returning to their conversation. About ten minutes later Pikachu decided she should head back to her room and Ash before he woke and found her gone. Kissing Elle goodbye, she asked her to tell Seth goodnight for her before slipping out of the room and returning to her room down the hall, leaving Elle alone.

He came out of the shower, the room was full of steam. He dried off as best he could before he went out of the room to get a new change of cloths. He noticed Pikachu was gone, but didn't say anything until he got dressed. "We need to find them Elle," he said to her. "Team Rocket....if we find them they might know whats wrong with Jewel," he didn't give much explination, only that he had a huge desire to find Team Rocket.

Elle was looking through a book when he came out of the bathroom and she looked up at him. She could hear the need and desire to find Team Rocket in his voice and she looked at him in concern while sitting up. "What's wrong Seth? What happened? What did you find out?" she asked quickly while crawling to the edge of the bed and looking up at him with wide eyes.

"She's not doing well...Oak says her DNA is unstable...messed up," he didn't know how to explain it himself. "If I can find Team Rocket...I can maybe get them to tell me what that thing was, and how it can be fixed," he sat down on the bed and sighed "or maybe at least I can really pay them back for hurting Jewel like that."

Elle frowned slightly before moving over to where he was sitting and she placed a hand on his shoulder. "Then we'll get them. Together, we'll find them and get the answers." she said softly. "If they're going around harming pokegirls like they did Jewel, they need to be stopped." She rested her chin on his shoulder with a soft sigh.

Seth sighed gently as well "To be honest though...I have a small feeling it might be a waste of time," he admitted. "I have a feeling even they didn't know what it was, they seemed shocked it didn't do anything right away." He thought for a moment "I think...we might need to go deeper into the source of Team Rocket...those three before, might be the lowest of the low, but I know of another group that seems to be rather...well more impressive." Seth had heard of two other members Butch and Cassidy, both where more effective then the other three. "I just need to figure a way to draw them out, and then hopefully follow them...I'm not exactly some secret agent, so it's pretty much just going to be luck if we even get any information."

(Yeah this twist is getting rather interesting, should they pursue team rocket...or visit Stark Mt. first?)

(they can do both.)

Elle gently wrapped her arms around his neck from behind while nuzzling his shoulder with a sigh. "Then we will go deeper." she whispered. "But we should start with those three morons that attacked us yesterday. Then we move up. We will find out what happened, no matter what." She ran her fingers through his hair before turning his head gently so he was looking at her. "We just need to find something that they want." She smiled at him before kissing him on the forehead and moving so she was sitting next to him.

He nodded, smiling gently. "They want rare pokemon...and pikachu," he said gently. "I don't see why they continue to though," he said. He sighed, trying to think of new ideas. He however wasn't to creative at the moment, stillpicturing Jewel in her current state. It made his pulse rise a little bit. "If anything...going to Stark Mountain might draw those three out....if they know we are going to aplace with a legendary pokemon supposibly existed." Seth knew it was a gamble, and not a very good one, but it was better then trying to hunt the three down, for he had no true idea where they could be.

She listened to him as he explained about what team rocket was after and she nodded slightly with a soft sigh. She laid her head against shoulder as he spoke. But at the mention of the legendary pokemon supposably existing, she lifted her head and shook her head. "Not supposably lives. Does live." she said softly. "This pokemon that guards that mountain is very powerful and if that stone is taken, he will stop at nothing to get it back. If they want a powerful pokemon, they'll go after that one."

Seth listened to her, nodding a bit apologetically about saying it wrong. "Well...I don't think they know what we are doing...our best bet though is to make them aware of our plans, and they will most likely follow us and try to contain this pokemon," he said. "Of course, knowing what might happen, it's possible this idea, and their meddling will just get other people hurt, so I would rather not use this idea, no matter how much I would want to."

Elle slowly moved further back on the bed and laid back against the head board with a sigh. "Well, if you don't want to use this idea, what do you want us to do?" she asked him. "There has to be a way to lure them out without using that idea then. But no matter what, I'm sure they're going to cause trouble." She sighed again and ran her hands through her hair.

Seth sighed as he laid back too. "Not sure...I'm sure we will see them again, but it might be too late...maybe if we managed to make something happen, like a huge gathering of pokegirls and pokemon....then they wont resisist trying to come out and steal a few," he suggested.

She turned onto her side and looked up at him, reaching out and running her fingers through his hair. "Maybe." she murmured. "Perhaps there will be something big going on in town sometime soon. I know that some of the stores in the big cities like to have big events. Or even a competition." She absently twirled a lock of his hair around her finger.

He nodded "Yeah...maybe," he said, though he wanted something to happen as soon as possible. The longer things took, the more pain Jewel would gothrough, or worse. "Lets get some sleep Elle...I need to worry about talking to the blockhead tomorrow morning anyways," he said referring to Ash.

She yawned softly and cuddled close to him before giggling softly at the mention of Ash. "Yeah. Hopefully you'll be able to talk some sense into him." she said with a grin. "He seems rather.... dense I suppose. I mean, Pikachu was close to jumping him and having her way with him." She giggled softly and smiled at him. "But you're right, we do need some rest. I'm pretty worn out from earlier."

He smiled softly, kissing her gently "Lets get somesleep then," he told her. He shut off the lights, wishing her a ood night before going to sleep. Of course he wouldn;t sleep very well, though he could do a good job in pretending to.

Nodding, Elle curled up against his side and kissed him back before laying her head against shoulder and closing her eyes. "Good night Seth." she whispered before falling into a deep sleep. She didn't know that he didn't sleep very well, but she would probably notice in the morning when they both got up.

Most ofthe night he spent thinking of two things, Jewel, and how to get Team Rocket out. Once he did he knew he'd be able to make them talk, or at least hoped a good zapping would do it. It was a bit strange how the thought of the two orbs had vanished from his mind almost completely. They just were not that important to him anymore.

After a few hurs, he finally closed his eyes, to exhausted from earlier to keep mentally thinking. He shifted a little in his sleep, half dreaming about losing Jewel and Elle. He saw them vanish in a flash of light, like that stupid gun. The next morning his eyes opene gently, feeling painful and heavy. He however didn;t want to wake her up, so he didn;t move much, but once more thought of the night before. He knew Ash would most likely sleep in, he always had when he visisted the Professors Lab before, so he needn't hurry and wake him either.
