Kakure

Smiling at him, she released his hand and walked over to the water. She stepped into the water and shuddered at how cold it felt before she moved deeper. The river only came up to her knees so she had to kneel in the water to wash herself off.

Seth was taller, so he had to get down even lower into the river to try and clean himself off, luckily he had no fur like her so cleaning was much faster.

Jewel went about calmly cleaning her cum matted fur and making sure she was completely clean. She slipped beneath the water all the way before emerging a moment later, completely soaked. Once she was sure she was completely cleaned off, she waded out of the water and shook out her fur.

He got out, doing his best to dry off before once again slipping his pants back on. "Well....now I think we're wide awake," he said, the water had been rather cold and he shivered a bit until he grew warm. Seth took her hand as they walked back to there cave to get their things, he wrapped the bedroll back up, making it a point that when he next got the chance to either wash it or get a new one and dispose of this one.

She followed him back to the cave, shivering from her wet fur but she was used to bathing in cold rivers. As he rolled up the bedroll, she blushed and picked up her things. "Next time, we'll have to remember not to do it on a bedroll. Don't want to end up with it getting messy again."

"Or we lay some towels down," he said chucking a little bit. Once they where all packed and ready he made sure that what remained of the fire was out. "Lets get going...we should reach Route 211 soon, and then we'll be at the bottum of coronet by night."

She laughed softly and nodded before shaking out her fur once more and she stepped out of the cave. "Okay. Lets go. I'm eager to see what this mount coronet looks like." she said to him.

"I'm sure it looks like any mountain," he said a they walked out of the cave. "It's what is inside or on top that we are looking for."

"Seth, I've lived in the woods my entire life. I've never seen a mountain up close before." she said to him. Her ear twitched several times as she listened carefully for any pokegirls around them or for any kind of danger.

"Imagine a very big rocky hill..." he saidm though he was a little surprised she had never seen a mountain before. He thought she would have naturally known what it was, but he supposed not.

She sighed softly and nodded. "I know what a mountain is. I've just never seen one. I've heard some of the pokegirls that traveled to all sorts of places talking about what a mountain was." she said to him with a small smile.

"I see," he said. In all honesty he never found mountains all that appealing up close, from a distance they where one of natures most beautiful things. Up close they only reminded him at how much he was going to sweat and ache to reach the top.

She shrugged slightly and finally shouldered her pack with little difficulty. Jewel still struggled with the straps but not as much as she did when she first received the pack from Seth. Her pack carried the things she would need the most on their travels. A couple of healing sprays, bandages and other small things.

The trip was rather, well peaceful luckily, Seth had that strange feeling that they should have run int some sort of problem, but they didn't and it made him feel rather strange. It was getting late, and as he ooked up he pointed "Look...theres the top," he told her, it looked like a big hill from where they where, but they still had some ways to go, when they got closer it would be much bigger.

As they traveled, things remained fairly silent but it was a comfortable silence between the two companions. As they neared the mountain, Jewel looked up and gazed at it when Seth pointed it out. "And we're going to climb it?" she asked him curiously.

"Well...if we can find a cave that leads inside and goes up to the top then we can use the tunnels," he said. "Also sometimes there are paths that lead to the top, but if there is neither then we will have to climb it."

She simply nodded as she listened to him. "Well, we'll have to search for an entrence tomorrow morning. It's beginning to get dark out already and we'll have to camp close to the base of the mountain I guess." she said gently. She smiled up at him and hooked her thumbs on the strap of her backpack while walking next to him, almost skipping from how happy she felt at the moment.

"That would be the best idea," he said, it would be to dark out to see if there was any caves or paths, he had flash lights bu he guessed it would be better if they had the light of the sun to help them out. As they got to the base it was dark, he took out a small lamp, not wanting to start a fire they would have to eat presered foods for the night, in fact it was better they got used to it because he had no plans of lighting a fire inside the mountain if they did find a tunnel.

After they stopped for the night, instead of just watching like she usually did or going off to find wood, she helped Seth set up camp. However, as it got colder, she began shivering a little. She moved closer to Seth and looked up at the tall mountain that towered over them.

"Pokemon tend to live around mountains....I do't want to light a fire and attract any...I'm notsure what kind there may be here...it's not like back home," he said. However he had unpacked a few thermal blankets, they where thin but the material was very warm.

Jewel nodded with an understanding smile. "It's okay Seth. It's just a little cold, is all. Don't worry too much." she said to him before rubbing her arms with a soft sigh and her ears twitched as she gazed up at the mountain once more.

"The blankets will keep us warm even in the cold nights on the ,ountain top," he told her gently. He wrapped one around her and himself and stood in the lamp light.

She pulled the cover a little tighter around her with a soft sigh and a smile. Her shivering stopped a little minutes later. "Thank you." she murmured. "How long do you think we'll be on the mountain?" she asked curiously.

"Well....I can tell you what I hope, and what it can be," he told her as he sat and looked up at the sky, the stars where bright that night. "I hope we may only be there for a few days, two or three at the most," he said. "But...if we have to climb it or happen to get lost, we could be there for a week, maybe more," he said. "But I'm sure what we are looking for is at the very top."

She looked up at the sky as well and she smiled gently while watching a shooting star pass across the sky. "I think I can handle being in a mountain for a couple of days." she says playfully. "As long as I have you to talk to." Grinning, she glances at him for a moment before looking up at the sky again. 'The top of the mountain.' she thought to herself.
