The School for Devoted Fuck Partners!!

The year is 2102 AD. After the Fourth World War that turned the entire country into a barren wasteland, the bones of the dead became the rubble that occupied the empty, demolished streets. Gangs formed and the roads became ruled through might of guns and clubs. Slowly, after some years of effort, the truly nasty people of the country teamed up and formed the Horde of Violators, and the noble ones formed the Legion of Preservers. The Violators razed upstart settlements, enslaved the women and killed the men. The Preservers aimed to preserve what little hope that was left and aimed to spark a new metropolis that erased the taint of the Fourth World War...

You are a citizen of the city of Yarlcarl, named after Derick Yarlcarl, a charismatic (though lustful) man who ignited the people to rebuild. You are between the ages of 18 to 24 and you enter a beta-testing public school that tries to revive the old ways of educating the young. You are a student... And here you will meet your beloved and predetermined-by-law partner. The Violators will try to kidnap the lady and ravish her with all their devious appetites. The man will do everything in his power to learn how to fight, strategize, train, and socialize in order to preserve his young lady's safety.

Will you succeed? Will you fail? Will you survive? Only time will tell...

OOC: Alright, so the idea is that this is a post-apocalyptic setting, but there are a group of noble citizens trying to rebuild a nation. It is a heavily protected budding metropolis full of sentries with good training and good weapons. They have mastered basic agriculture and purifying water, so food, hygiene, and hydration are all taken cared of for all citizens. Right now, "The Horde of Violators" all plan to destroy the hope that these people hold and rule the country with an iron fist, enslaving all who are weak.

Just keep in mind, I encourage and allow mild sci-fi elements so you can enhance your character in all sorts of ways. Just please don't turn him/her into a demi-god or superhero. lol.

We'll all be partnered up. One male student character (aged 18 to 24) for one female student character (aged 18 to 24). Please only commit to the RP if you think you can stick it out since there will be strict post orders.

I'll be the GM of course.

This is something I have to think about because we need an upper limit on everything. We can't be vague, because what if one player decides not to post for three weeks? That's too much.

I'll set it all up in some hours.
 
I'll look forward to your answer. I enjoy groups so I try to respect them, but I can't always post every single day. I can usually do 48 hours without too much trouble.

Hey folks. I'm really drained right now. I need some rest. I'll give you all the big system tomorrow. It seems we have enough people. I can have a friend join us if we're short on a lady.

I'll figure out a good post frequency requirement. I just can't think straight right now. Thanks for your understanding.

Alright folks, I did some thinking and writing. The following are what I came up with as far as posting guidelines. They are not yet well-written, but I think they will give you all a very good view of my rules. If you have questions or concerns, either post here or just PM me. Here's what I've written down. Remember, this is still my rough draft of it. I will write them in more eloquent terms when we are already roleplaying...

Required post frequency is at least one IC post for every 3 days. If more than 5 days pass and there is no activity from a certain player, we'll have to continue on without him/her. If more than a week pass and there is no activity from a certain player, we kick him or her out.

There will be a strict post order

Voting system – If an IC post is a bit iffy, we will cast a vote. If the majority of us agree that it should be null and/or should be changed, the player will have to take it out or change it. This is to prevent anyone from their character having too much power.

Attributes: Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. (6 points total) Option A: Str 4, Dex 1, Int 1… Option B: Str 2, Dex 2, Int 2… Every combat IC post will be judged and is either 1 point or 2 points. It is 1 point if it's incongruent with the character's build. It is 2 points if it's congruent with the character's build. Basically, the player and his/her character must stay true to his/her build. The voting system will apply if I, the GM, make a decision that one of us don't agree with as for a post being 1 or 2.

For every IC post, with the exception of an actual time-skip IC post, the entirety of the post must narrate a maximum of one hour. So if your IC post narrates a total one hour of time passing in our story, then it's good. But nothing more than that. We need to give players time to react.

EDIT: To clarify with the attributes, although you can only choose either A or B, you do choose which attribute to specialize in if you opt for A. So it's not just strength.

Sounds fairly straightforward. It makes sure that fast-paced combat scenarios (or scenes involving a different type of 'weapon', hehe) don't take too long and frustrate the active participant(s).

Also, we must give incentive to fight. There are two types of fights...

The first type of fight is us fending off the Violators (the antagonists of our RP). We either work together or we fight some alone.

The second type of fight is us fighting amongst each other. I'd have to come up with some incentives for winning a fight. Perhaps we'll have a sort of currency in the game. Or something... Or maybe a privileged leadership position.

And of course I will be controlling the Violators NPCs.

I haven't read much of the rules yet but... How does smut work in group roleplay campaigns like this? If two players are smutting it out, is it public? Or they take it to PMs? What's the rule/rules for that?

not that I would ever do things the wrong way or put too much power or anything like that I am not that type of person.
However I am worried about this....

Lets say a person who knows how to write a lot per post (I seen writers that can post mini novellas per post) and the rest can post the same. Then I not being that much into posting a lot per reply lets say post a couple of paragraphs only. I am worried that I would be taken into a vote to make a post better when I actually cannot do so or do not have enough expirience to do so... that persons would be easily turned down because of this and would most likely quit...

If not posting enough like the others would be an issue please let me know now so I can back away. The most I written is 500 words and that was with another really good player it was never in a group game

Are you worried you don't have the ability to make big posts?
 
I only can make like most 400 at most in group game. Due to this I gotten a lot of backlash and even quit a lot of group games because of this fact. I am worried that if I do not match post or be as 'Detailed' as other people (although I always try to be) I get backlash because of this

I'm thoroughly convinced that players can convery a scene with as little as 250 words.

Let's do this as a rule. The minimum is 250 words per IC posts. If, for some reason you can only come up with 200 or, heaven forbid, 180, then we as a group talk it out. Hopefully it rarely comes down to that, but if it does, we'll be democratic and agree to a general consensus.

I do believe a post with even just 250 words is enough. Anything less, we'd have to make some decisions as a group.
 
yeah... sorry to bring this personal thing to you all wasn't really what i wanted but I was curious and decided better to ask first than to go through another embarrasement lol 250 is more than fine i never do anything less than 350 at least

I just checked what 250 words look like in Microsoft Word several minutes ago. It looks relatively big. It's gonna be fine.

I just ask you and everyone to not make it a routine to post less than 250. We do still need a substantial enough post most of the time.
